I’ll never know how to use the steam bake tool. Such an expensive appliance with no operating instructions. I would even pay for a manual

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We bought the range in December, and tried to give the top burners a chance being as it was so different from our previous three Jenn Air ranges. The burners were all overheating so we had a tech come out. He confirmed they were way too hot, brought back new ones. Today, the front left burner is still impossible to use. We can't even keep it on low or simmer as food just burns. We have to stay right by the stove the whole time food is cooking as there have been too many surprises and spoiled food. The other burners are now working normal since the technician came out, but would like to see him back to fix the front left. Also, the silver on the top scratches way too easily, and the stove top is really difficult to clean. The Jenn Air black glass top was a breeze to clean. The oven works fine. Sorry, being as I am sure this is not you wanted to hear.

Only lasted about 4 years before oven burners died. While it was working performance was poor, heated very slowly and did not maintain a consistent temperature, often 30 degrees off what it was set to, even with changing the calibration settings. My parents have a similar model with the same issues. Not the quality I would expect from the KitchenAid brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this range very much. The only problem I am having is trying to so simmer something. The simmer setting is still a rolling boil. I was planning to call the company from which I bought the stove and see if the simmer could be recalibrated. Please advise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 3 zone burner only does high. Setting any of the 3 zones to low or simmer results in it going to high. All other burners when set to low stay about 200 the 3 zone burner goes to 700. The service tech said he would order a new control module but I haven't heard back from him in three weeks. Also, there isn't a good users manual. Having replaced 30 year old oven I wasn't aware the door on this KitchenAid Range had to be closed for the broiler to work. I looked it up on an LG user manual. Apparently things have changed in the past 30 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] don't like small burner in back. don't like the dots on the top surface. stove seems cheaply made. bottom drawer hard to take out. stove seems a little to wide for a 30 inch opening. don't like the lines on top of stove. the control panel needs to have light behind it to dark in the evening.

I found that the oven takes quite a bit longer to preheat than my former Range so I took off one star.. I know this oven has a larger area, doesn't seem like that would be enough to account for preheat times almost twice what it was before. Other than that, I'm very happy with the appearance and functionality of this Range.

Our only concerns are that (1) the oven controls, which are electronic, are on the top, which can make them susceptible to liquid spills, and (2) the cooktop control knobs are very shiny, which, in a well-lit kitchen makes them difficult to read.

I bought this KitchenAid stove a month ago but not very happy with the cooktop surface. The glass top is extremely difficult to keep it clean even even though I cook with lot of care. Have to wipe several times to get rid of the streaks. The surface seems to get scratched very easily as well. Even the stainless is a pain as it is not fingerprint resistant. Bought Kitchenaid brand only because it is considered high-end quality and have been disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cooktop works OK the oven takes a long time to heat up. The touchscreen on top of the oven is too sensitive while you’re cleaning it you turn things on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this range on Feb 29, 2024. Front left (small) burner does not simmer. It gets to 700 right away. Burns anything on simmer. Broiler only worked once, never gets red. Received a replacement in March and had the SAME issues. Broiler only worked 10% of the time. Tech tried to tell husband that both were working as they should, that the broiler should cycle on and off. NO, THAT'S BAKING. Broiler should come on and stay on. I'm sitting there watching it and it DOES NOT BROIL. My last range that I had for 27 years worked better than this "high end" model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Caution needs to be taken regarding children around this range . The stainless steel front becomes EXTREMELY hot when using the oven . This can legitimately burn your skin. I do not have young kids in my home luckily. Otherwise I like the stove and it’s design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking at all different brands of ranges and comparing them to Kitchen Aid and they don’t seem to have what I want. Kitchen Aid ranges are fantastic and I absolutely love my New range and our food taste so much better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this for a little over a month. I love the way it looks and the way it cooks. The cool down motor runs for a bit after using the oven. Once you set to your temperature and time for baking, and you clean while cooking like I do, you have to be careful not to touch the display panel as there is no locking mechanism to hold your programming. Overall I wouldn’t trade it and am very happy we made the purchase!

Enjoy having the warming unit on the cook top and the three shelves in the oven. Searched for a manual to go along with our purchase and could not find one. The negative of this range is keeping the cook top looking nice....streaks and have to use two separate cleaners, one for the glass top and one for the stainless steel. (Neither which is great.) Have spent more time cleaning this one in a month than I think I did in thirty years of our previous range.

Even went back to where I purchased it from and they couldn’t find one. I couldn’t even find out how to set the clock. Was very frustrating. I accidentally found one and could figure out how things worked. Except for easy convection bake. The manual I found must be for a different model but I figured it out.
