Thank you for submitting your feedback. The most common error when using paint remover is not allowing the product to work for the recommended time. The remover may need a little help by scratching the surface with some coarse sandpaper to give the remover some spots to attack, then covering the remover with a heavy plastic drop cloth or other plastic sheeting (even a trash bag will help). Let the remover have plenty of time to work. If the stripper is drying or getting gummy before it works, you may not be applying a thick enough layer of stripper. In order to really soften and liquify a paint, the remover will need to be several times thicker than the paint film, so put on a thick layer. Remove stripper from surface with plastic scraper or brush. Also, keep in mind that the speed in which the remover works can be affected by the surface condition and the number layers of paint previously applied.

Didn't work for me. I was removing paint from concrete. Used a pump sprayer and covered the area best I could. Let dwell fro 20min. Went to remove with a pressure washer and it seemed to remove a layer of the paint but not all of it. I probably needed more chemical.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. This product should be applied in a thick coat with a paint brush to a small area (up to 3 ft x 3 ft). Leave the area and let the remover do the work. Wait 15 minutes to scrape a small test area to see if finish is ready for removal. Gently scrape in direction of wood grain with a plastic stripping tool to remove. Multiple coats or stubborn finishes may require repeat applications. Use a clean abrasive pad dipped in After Wash or Odorless Mineral Spirits to loosen remaining finish and remove any residue. Surface should be completely clean and dry before applying new finish. If using indoors, open all windows and doors and maintain a cross ventilation of moving fresh air across the work area.

This stuff did not do the job, it says you can spray it on but it changes the consistency of the product. I bought 2 gallons of this for two flights of stairs and it was a waste of money. Money wasted.. I went back to my regular product.

Used on old paint from kitchen cabinets & worked great, didn't have to wait the recommended time though. If you wait too long it's harder to scrape off. You have to scape it almost immediately.

not really "sprayable"
This product works very well as a paint stripper. But it is definitely not sprayable. It's too thick to work in a trigger-spray bottle. I put it in a pump-sprayer which worked OK but I had to take the spray tip off (product is too thick to spray as a mist). Unfortunately this product is corrosive to plastic and it ate the sprayer hose overnight, and the remaining pressure in the bottle sprayed stripper all over the floor. Would not recommend as a "sprayable" product, and it's too thin to effectively use with a brush.

Does not work, very caustic chemical
This hardly helped at ALL when trying to remove paint on my deck, even when I applied twice. It was $50, and it ate through TWO of my sprayer’s hoses. Useless waste of money.

Jesse - Klean Strip Sprayable Remover and Stripper is a thin sprayable product that is convenient and easy to apply and works great to remove paint. It is meant to be used in a spray bottle, not a paint sprayer, as paint remover is a different texture, consistency and type of chemical than paint that will damage many plastics. It is not meant to be used in a paint spray gun or on large surfaces such as a deck or in extreme temperatures. You can always call our Klean Strip helpline at 1-800-398-3892 when you have questions or feedback about our products.
