Great daily carry pocket knife

Love this knife. Utility knives never feel solid. This knife locks open solid. I definitely abuse my utility knives and go through regular sliding knives pretty quick. This one has held up to years of abuse. Bought a second one. Now if I can only keep from losing them...

Milwaukees and huskies are cheaper and better

Wasn’t to trilled that the knife was brand new and wasn’t working like it should. The latch doesn’t stay how it should. I would’ve taken back for a return but I use it daily. Takes time to Go back and forth. Its really just an inconvenience. Can y’all send me a new one???

The opening mechanism scrapes against the sides.

Not bad. For the price this is a decent knife. I wish the blade release button was just a touch taller, and I wish it was just a bit smoother to open. It feels a bit bulky with the belt clip. But it’s functional and that’s all that matters to me.

The knife blade holder itself was rusted in a week after very light use, too expensive to rust that quickly. Harbor Freight knives last longer and don’t rust

The best feature of this knife is that the blade release has a raised area around it that reduces the chance that the blade will release when you are cutting with considerable pressure that alone makes the knife worth the price.

The utility lock blade opens easily and stays locked in the open position. To close it, I love the push button release, which allows you to keep your fingers clear of the blade closing.

First I will just say I love this knife. I am a professional cabinet installer and I am reaching into my pocket at least every 10 minutes for my knife, I love the blade to lock in the out position and to have the blade locked in the in position with just a button to open the knife. I like that it does not have spring tension that holds the blade in the closed position. I can open this knife with one hand by simply pushing the button and flipping my wrist and it opens and is ready to use with one fluid motion. I have never had a problem with the blade coming out accidentally or the lock not functioning correctly. I was worried that they might change the design or discontinue the knife so I went and bought 10 so I will always have one.

What else can you expect from Klein Tools but quality! No exception with their utility knife, affordable and effective. Gotta love it!

Pros: Lock mechanism works well and is easy to use, blade fits tightly with little movement. Cons: Pocket/belt clip is not solid enough and bends too easily, the handle could be thinner; it's too bulky, and I don't really care for the rubber handle inserts - in my opinion they are unnecessary. They also make it tougher to slide the clip onto the edge of my pocket.
