All I can say is, what an upgrade to my hardhat! This Klein suspension is super comfortable, and I like the strong positive adjustment knob on it. The quality and feel of the plastic frame is the best I have worn. The band is flexible enough to be comfortable, but at the same time extremely strong. For something I have to wear all day long at work, I want to be comfortable , and this suspension did just that for me!

The Klein Replacement Suspension is a direct replacement part for many Klein hard hat models. This suspension system is very versatile, offering many adjustments for any size head out there. It snaps into the shell with 4 tabs and once adjusted, is quite comfortable. It's good to keep one of these on hand in case your original breaks while on the job. Fits Klein hard hat shells only.

There is nothing worse than having a important part of must wear safety gear malfunction & have to deal with it till you can get it corrected. this is a direct fit replacement originally quality or the suspension system in a Klein hard hat. simply pop out your old pop this one in & add the sweat/ comfort Pads adjust for size & you are good as new.

This is a wonderful replacement hard hat suspension for Klein branded hard hats. Made with high quality material that is easy to install and use. With the adjustment knob, it is very easy to adjust it to fit. It was made to be easily replaced should there ever be any need for that. With the highly durable and comfortable material used for this product, I see it lasting a long time. I am happy with this acquisition.

Klein suspension system is three points with a nice crank adjuster on the backside that works with a gloved hand. The frame is an open design for effective cooling of your hard hat. Designs like this help prevent you from working under a hotter hard hat. This works on the full brim or cap style hard hats. Size 6.5 to size 8. The top comfort pad is sold separately as well as the sweatband. I show the comfort pad in place as I had a new one to show it's placement but did not have a clean sweat pad to show. The back side of the ratchet is a soft material. It is easy to snap in place and comes with directions. This is part of an excellent safety system meant to keep your head from cracking like and egg if you were to get smacked. It is excellent quality and is easy to install and adjust.

I have used many hard hards and this one was by far has the best suspension system. It is very easy to adjust to fit and I did not have any issues where I had to constantly retighten it after wearing it. There are four tabs that you connect to the helmet, when I first tried to install it, I inserted one of the tabs incorrectly, I knew it was wrong because I was unable to insert the others. There are 4 circular holes designed to add the chin strap. The top pad connects via a Velcro pad, and the sweatbands connect via a hook and loop system, with 4 hooks/tabs

Identical to original and quite easy to remove the old and install the new. Fortunately I still had the original instructions that came with the hard hat as the replacement had no instructions with it. But even without instructions is is pretty obvious how to do it and pretty simple. I do feel the suspension should come with a replacement sweat/padding (the orange part) however as that part can get worn and pretty dirty, but those can be purchased separately of course.

Before we talk about the suspension system, are you aware of what the useful life is for your hard hat and for the suspension? I wasn’t and wondered why Klein would offer a replacement suspension system. The entire hard hat must be replaced after no more than 2 years of regular use or 5 years from the date of manufacture. The suspension must be replaced after no more than 12 months of use. Now that I know that, it makes sense to produce replacement suspension assemblies to prevent having to replace the entire hard hat. The Klein hard hat suspension system makes wearing the hard hat a very comfortable experience. It attaches very easily to 4 points built into the shell of the hard hat. It can easily be adjusted to fit any head size from 6.5” to 8”. It also works in either the cap style or full brim hat. It doesn’t come with the top pad, or the sweatbands. You can get those separately at Home Depot. What it does include is a large ratchet knob that allows you to adjust the hat size very easily – even when wearing work gloves! That knob is located on a segment that pivots, which lets you secure the hat no matter if you have short or long hair. If you take a closer look at the suspension unit, you’ll notice the open design, which helps the air flow keep your head cool. It also makes the suspension a bit more flexible – which is quite nice. Speaking of nice, the price for this item is very reasonable!

I absolutely love the amount of thought klein put into these hardhat liners. Comfort is key. First, the ratchet pivots to accommodate neck positioning. Second, there are 4 tabs on the front to hold on a very comfortable headband (sold separately) and velcro to hold a pad that comforts the top of the head (also sold separately). The ease of use is amazing. Since the ratchet handle is a hexagon rather than the traditional circle, plus it has grooves on it, it’s easy to grab and turn. Each turn tightens an eighth of an inch and tension free release makes for easy adjustment. Replacing the liner itself is simple. Also, it is multi adjustable by means 6 holes at each attachment point, as well 4 holes to install a chin strap

This Klein hard hat suspension seems well made. The installation instructions are clear and easy to follow. I am sure it will last a long time. Klein products are professional grade. I would like this suspension much better if it included some type of sweatband on the front. The size is easily adjustable with a rear knob. I had a terry cloth sweatband and installed it. They should include one in the package.
