This was to replace a broken latch part. I bought a new set and then was told that it had a lifetime warranty. So I returned the set to the store and Kwikset sent me a new one for free.

Exactly what you expect from a lock set less than...
Exactly what you expect from a lock set less than $100. It does the job, the smart key was easy to use and rekey it to my existing locks. Installed easily but I dropped it once while installing and chipped the finish. But again I needed good not perfect.

What I got looks like this but inside handle is round. I got this from you several months ago and I was overwhelmed by it and was afraid to install it. I finally got the nerve to do this and it took me 4 hours but its in and its appears to be functioning properly. Only complaint is that you are on Pacific time and I am on Eastern standard time. When I called for help you were not answering yet. But it is finally finished!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YEAH

You should be able to marry any handle with any knob but you can’t. Otherwise the hardware is easy to install.

owned for 2 years
I bought this set two years ago. The thumb latch started failing so I called the company. I thought it would be a long drawn out process but I explained it took pictures of the inside and outside. That was it! I am very happy with this company. They have a great way with serving their customers. I will only do business with them in the future. Thanks kwikset.
