We are here to help! Please follow these steps to light up the touchscreen:
a. Touch screen with palm or back of hand until digits illuminate.
b. Touch the lower-left area of the screen (where the Checkmark is located) until the digits illuminate.
c. Touch the screen with three or more fingers until the digits illuminate.
If all the numbers do not illuminate, yet you see a few random digits, this indicates that the SecureScreen feature is enabled. This can be disabled by pushing dip switch # 4 down into the off position. Please reach out to our Support Team for further assistance here: https://www.kwikset.com/support/customer-service

Soon as winter came it stopped working I don’t even have the key I was depending on the key pad but it didn’t work that was a fun day

Buyer Be Aware!!
Be advised, when I received my Kwikset Door lock, I had it professionally installed. When the installation was completed the technician check the keys along with entering the code. The code entered work well but the keys for the deadbolt did not work. I went to the Home Depot where the item was purchased and had one of the most terrible experiences ever. I spoke with the manager, he advised he had to have the deadbolt to make a key and I was informed I then had to pay for a replacement key. Crazy, a replacement key, never had the original key. I paid close to three hundred dollars ($300.00) for this set and they still haven’t replaced my set. I’m referring this situation to BBB and legal. Good luck if you purchase this item.
