[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This deadbolt was used for a vacation property and upon opening the box I immediately noticed the quality of the finish. I was expecting the typical quality of a deadbolt, but this one has a higher end finish on it. Installation was easy and took about 10 minutes. The adapter plates included makes sure you will be able to use it on almost any door. The low-profile face looks much more sleek than the bulkier ones sold at the home stores. If you want a classier look with the same reliable security features, I recommend this one.

Because of this, I have not put it up yet. The lock is off great quality, very sturdy. Once I have time to figure it b out, I'll put it up

We are in the process of swapping out all of our old clunky looking deadbolts with these new slim design ones from Kwikset. The Smartkey feature is really cool and allows me to set all my new deadbolts to work with one single key on every door. Installation was a snap and re-keying was even easier. Overall a secure quality product from Kwikset that adds slim style to your door.

He can leave the same low profile Matte Black deadbolt on the apartment and with the innovation of the new smart key he can reset to any set of keys for the lock that he wants. One tenant can leave, and he can just push the smart key in the insert hole and the deadbolt lock will adjust to any new key that he will use. Lifetime warranty is comforting and the lock set is solid and easy to install. It comes with a set of keys to start with and then the new key he wants to set will slip right in and reset to that key’s contours. Great concept and low cost is a bonus too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The locking mechanism is great looking just didnt fit in our door and we don’t own the house so we are not allowed to adjust the door to make it fit unfortunately. But upon inspection of the lock its locking mechanism is very advanced from older models I have seen and used in the past seems very easy to install had we had the right sized hole in our door.

The SmartKey allows me to quickly and easily reset my lock's cylinder to work with any KW1 Keyway key. It easily installs in minutes with just a screwdriver. The SmartKey Security which is for use on exterior doors where keyed entry and security is needed, protects against advanced break-in techniques and allows me to re-key my lock myself in seconds. The Deadbolt Latch has 2 interchangeable faceplates - round corner and square corner, and includes full lip round deadbolt strike.
