I've used Lesco starter fertilizer many times in the past. I have always had good results with it--better than with more popular name brand products. Excellent results using it this time also. Takes about 7 to 10 days to green up the lawn with regular rainfall or watering. I'm glad Home Depot carries it and would recommend it for newly seeded lawns or for use on existing lawns. Works with zoysia or fescue.

In my opinion Lesco lawn Fertilizer is one of the best fertilizers on the market today.I have tried other fertilizers in the past and get the best results with Lesco. I use a rubber tired Lesco spreader and it will hold one complete bag and is easy to push. I hope that Home Depot continues to carry Lesco Fertilizer and products.

Amazing
This is just perfect. My front yard has provista kbg and it loves this stuff the back yard has a mix of kbg and fescue its amazing how green and thick it is now, a fungus has no chance. First week of summer after a drought like spring, Im all feet no shoes!

Works great on my Bermuda gives it a deep green...
Works great on my Bermuda gives it a deep green color. It grows a couple of inches at least in a week. Don't forget to water. I normally try to put it down when I know it's going to rain.

HI, Thanks for your feedback! Spreader setting recommendations are provided as a suggested starting point in calibrating each individual spreader. Since no two spreaders are alike, these settings are not intended to be used as absolute recommendations. Spreader condition, rate of walk, and humidity are just some of the variables that can affect the rate of application. For 15,000 square feet of coverage with this product, it must be applied at 3.3lbs of fertilizer per 1000 square feet. Whenever a new product is used, calibrating your application equipment to the rate listed on the label is essential.

Why isn’t this available at your Alexandria, VA store? I had to buy in Richmond. Lesco is sooooo much better than Scott’s as Lesco has potash to support root growth.
