[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this amazing washing machine on August 10th.20?23 and because we are a large family of five, we have to launder small to larger loads at least three to four times a week. I love to use the Wi-Fi function and operate it from my iphone. What a pleasure. Perfect washes. More then perfect drying and one function I did not imagine ..... The Wrinkle care!!! Works almost without any sound. Tells you when cycles are comp!ere. ( ring on iPhone too ) and directs you to leave washer door open for drying. Wow!!! What technology plus modestly priced.

I was intrigued by the versatility of this stacked set. Being a short 5 foot two, I didn't want a double stacked set with controls I couldn't reach. I love that both sets of controls are center set for easy reach. I can design custom settings for different washloads if I feel really creative. Overall I am pleased with the performance of this set

We bought the washer/dryer tower about 2 months ago and we are truly happy with it. Very compact tower, beautiful design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am still undecided what I think of this LG Washtower. The convenience of a stacked unit with controls in the middle, easily accessible, is very appealing. But it seems to be noisier than it should be, which is a big deal since it lives in my kitchen, not a separate laundry room. I have an appointment to have it looked at, and hopefully fixed or replaced if not fixable.

The bottom side of the fins in the washer became sharpened after some use and the sharpness of the fins made the clothes to Rbecome roughened up. The dryer had the steam sprayer sharp, which gave running thread in the knitted clothes. I have attached some pictures as an exemple. The exemples attached are from clothes a lot newer than other clothes that I have, but the old clothes do not have such damage because I have not washed them in these appliances. up

Bought this set in store as a sale. At first I was a little hesitant because of all the new bells and whistles. I was replacing a 15 year set. The installation was a breeze. We paid to get it installed. It took then about 20 min from start to finish. I’ve had it for a few weeks now. Have washed and dried several time now. Don’t know why I was trying to hold on to my old set. But very happy I got these.

I bought my WashTower for a new space I built onto my house. We wanted to make everything new. It replaced my great aged LG Tromm. I gifted it to my daughter. My new LG is great as well. I plan to buy another WashTower again for another property. That said — here are matters to address: • Touch pad needs to be more intuitive • Touch pad need to respond to touch much better than it does • The AI function detects and by default chooses settings. Great. But when customizing settings (that we use regularly) there are functions available that user must research to discover. •.A reservoir holding tank for detergent etc . . . would complete this product

The dryer burned a hole in my shirt during the first load of laundry

So far so good. Love the washtower. It does everything as advertised and love the center controls at mid level and the phone connectivity

Bought the unit . Paint is peeling from the dryer. Google this issue and you will see they clearly have a manufacturing problem

I LOVE my LG WashTower!!! It is the best investment I have purchased in a very long time! I'm the type of person who does not believe everything they read and have to try it for themselves to prove how it works. I thought it would be wonderful to have a short wash cycle, possibly to shorten all my wash loads, so I tried an experiment of using the short cycle for a load of quite dirty clothes. WRONG! I was then convinced, as it was written in the manual, to use it for a smaller load of lightly dirty clothes, and it worked fantastically!! I have tried many of the different options and I totally agree with the suggestions offered in the manual. The dryer part of the WashTower is a work of wonderment! Again I optioned to try drying a load of bedding sheets, on high, for a long time and they came out wrinkled. So washed them again and used the suggested cycle for drying and they came out of the dryer PERFECT! Hardly any wrinkles! If you follow the suggested washing and drying cycles you will love this WashTower as much as I do!!!

Paint is corroding and developing rust around the detergent dispenser. Was told by LG that bleach is corrosive to the paint but the damage is centered around the detergent part so it seems the paint cannot stand up to basic detergent. Was told by LG to clean the spots then touch up with paint, but some of the rusty parts are blocked by a plastic piece so surely the rust will continue to grow. A washer should not be damaged by contact with detergent or bleach. This is a major design flaw.

I would recommend this set if ur look’n for something long term, I looked at some top loaders that are less expensive but they’re obviously disposable, these units are built solid, good features and quite. The 4.5 Cu Ft washer can easily handle 4 pairs of jeans, 4 bath towels and some miscellaneous items in one load or a king size comforter by itself and the dryer is even larger. I like all the options with the setting, it covers just about every situation. The best feature for me is the steam cleaner in the dryer, I work in a professional environment and it’s nice to be able to quickly refresh my outfit in between washings.

I have no more compliments for LG-WashTower after my experience with hose connection issue that developed just eight months after new installation. The problem: after installation, cold water rubber hose was rubbing against the dryer vent. The hose melted and started leaking. Unlike individual washer and dryer, the combo WashTower is heavy and one need a heavy person to pull the machine out and push it in. LG would have thought about such scenarios and provided quality hose with the machine and trained the installers appropriately. Picture attached for review.

Excellent washer/dryer unit, easy to use, great laundry setting options, controls are on center of unit which makes it great access for operations, I absolutely love my new washer/dryer unit. ?

This machine was working great no problems. 18 months and 5 days it blew up. The washer exploded put a hole in my wall and shot plastic and water everywhere. I called LG to let them know and was told I should have purchased the extended warranty.

This LG WashTower replaces my LG side by side set. I've moved to a smaller living space, and the stacked set is perfect for a laundry closet. This was the only set I really looked at because of the thoughtful placement of the controls in the middle of the unit. I am short and could not reach the controls on other brands. And having already had LG appliances, I knew this unit was a good value for the money.

This washer/dryer tower is both efficient and easy to use. I could operate the washer and dryer easily after only reading the manual once. There is a large capacity in both the washer and dryer. I like that the washer pre-weighs each load to determine the exact amount of time needed for each load. I can also choose how long I need for each dryer load with a "time dry" feature that makes for an adjustable run time. I also like the front load design and the pull out detergent/ softener trays. The candy apple red color is absolutely dazzling!! Lastly, my favorite feature is that the machine plays a nifty tune each time that it's turned on and off and when each load is finished and interior drum lights in both the washer and dryer.

This worked great for two years and then the washer got a DE1 error. Called the help desk and they were unable to resolve the issue. Unfortunately the unit was outside of warranty so we were on our own. Called one, two, three different repair men who all came to the house and two of them replaced the circuit board and door lock. NADA. Now I am left with a dryer with a $900 pedestal.

Great on saving space and being accessible. Had the units installed for awhile now. The dryer collects crap on the door seal constantly. Brushing it off usually knocks the rubber door stopper off. Just waiting on the day that someome doesnt notice and its lost. The washing machine does its job quietly and efficiently. The LG smart app absolutely sucks. Items dont show up after registering. Constantly fighting wirh it to get it to work. I have 2 LG OLED Tvs and the wash tower connnected and issues with all them and the app interfacing. If it wasnt for rhose things it would get a 5 star rating. Also my dryer drum isnt fully stainless as advertised. That was a disappointment.

My LG Tower is the best washer and dryer that I've ever purchased. I don't think it can get better than this. I guess I could wish for a place inside the washer to store laundry detergent and dispense when washing as needed. The washer communicates the settings with the dryer, so all you have to do is start the dryer. I must warn you this unit is very heavy, which is good to prevent the unit from being tipped over. I'm not a big fan of the download settings, but that is just me. I do it on occasion

Needed to stack units to fit into the narrow laundry closet. I considered stacking a dryer unit on top of a separate washer unit. This was not an option as my wife is on the shorter side and would not be able to reach the controls. After extensive research, I discovered this model from LG. This unit hits all my requirements. Love the color options available. We've only used it a few times. Does what it's supposed to. We have yet to use all the features. More to come on those.

Unit in use for almost two months. Extremely happy with performance. User Manual extensive but recommend a cover-to-cover read!

Can't wait to wash and dry laundry. This set up of washer and dryer really works great once you learn all the features.

So Cool and takes up less space in my small laundry room

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my LG washer dryer stack tower after Christmas. It's the first time I've had a new set since I always bought used in the past. I can truly say it is now a joy to do laundry. I love the control board in the middle. No more standing on tiptoes to read dials. The size of the stack is compact, yet it doesn't sacrifice space in the machines. Thanks, LG, for your excellent use of space.

I love this appliance. It’s quite, it’s efficient and if there is such a thing it’s the sexiest washer/dryer I’ve ever seen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this new unit installed 3 weeks ago. First time use the washer leaked out the bottom & ruined my basement ceiling and my new wood floors. Getting a repairman out has been a nightmare. Still waiting for a serviceman. I’m so disappointed in the process of getting a repair under warranty. Everything is automated-no humans to speak to. So frustrated!!
