Phenomenal little powerhouse
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our condo doesn't have a lot of space for our laundry machines so we went with this unit and are not the least bit sorry that we did. This little powerhouse handles everything we toss into it with ease and finesse. Its wide array of wash and fabric options in addition to temperature settings make it a breeze to get our laundry done. It's very quiet and even has a pleasant-sounding chime when the cycle is complete. The detergent loading drawer is easy and simple to use. It's quite simple to keep it clean. We have the matching dryer as well and it's a champ, too! We love LG appliances and this washer is at the top of our list.

Excellent washer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this back in august and have had time to know how it works. I absolutely love it. The clothes get clean. I love how it cycles through to sense the soiled level, the material, how quiet it runs, and hold more capacity than one would think. I have no cons at all about this washer. I’m 69, had 3 children, raised big gardens, worked in tobacco and have washed lots of clothes in my time. I know my washing machines amd what i want them to do. I want them to clean the clothes and not be half wet when you take them out to either put in a dryer or hang on a line. This washer is perfect for both of those. The size would be perfect in a small apartment/condo/or a big ol house if you just wanted something to take up less space and do a good job. This is the one to get. Excellent excellent

    Perfect solution!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in a 55+ complex in a very restricted HOA. This washer/dryer was the perfect solution for me as I am 67 years old with disabilities. I never owned a compact washer and ventless dryer however, they are the best appliances. The washer is capable of washing my queen size bedding and my daughter and my three teenage grandchildren were here for a month and my daughter agreed with me how easy they are to use. Also, I saved approximately 3,000 dollars due to no vent and not having to jack hammer to tie into 3” drain. My photos will validate my claims. We bought our Grandchildren a 65 inch smart TV for Christmas and my husband and I purchased a LG TV as we are so impressed with your products. Thank you

I am very pleased with this washer. I stacked it with the LE ventless dryer, and am actually enjoying doing laundry! It is very quiet but although I didnt notice much shaking during the spin cycle, the unit next to me sure did. The washer is on a wood floor in an upstairs unit, so I will try placing the unit on hard foam in the hopes of reducing the floor vibrations. Still happy with it, though!

We have only had the LG front load washer for about 2 months but so far I am completely satisfied. Our application use for the washer was a bit different because we installed it in our Trawler and it's a 2.3 load capacity and the washer itself was assembled the only thing we had to do was level it. I do like the direct drive better then the belt driven, quieter & smoother spin out but time will tell how long it holds up on a boat. The touch screen settings are very sensitive several times I have brushed up against the washer and heard the sound it makes when you adjust the settings but it has not caused the settings to change. It's perfect size for just my husband and I and it fits perfect were we have it located. So far the movement of our boat has not effected the washer while operating. I love all the wash setting options you have and so far I am pleased with the outcome of the cleanliness & smell of my wash. I also like that it gives you a choice on spin out speed. Now would like to get matching dryer the one I have is not LG.

Compared to the full size I had before I moved I am very impressed. My clothes came out very clean. The ventless dryer takes a little longer but over all very pleased with the set.

      Great machine for an apartment
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have owned this machine over a year and absolutely love it. We got the condensing dryer as well. It does an amazing job and is quiet. We live in a small apartment and I built a closet area to stack the 2 machines.

Design Problem - Do Not Buy
Bought in April 2019, installed in May 2019. This model does not come with detergent holder cup/ dispenser i.e. main wash compartment does not have container or a cup or tray dispenser to hold liquid detergent. When I pour detergent in the main wash compartment, right away it flows down into the machine. No way to indicate how much to pour. No way to know if detergent was used during the wash or it has just flown through. 'Delay' functionality becomes obsolute since detergent has already flown into the machine. Every other washing machine has detergent cup holder in main wash tray, I am not sure how LG missed this. Suggestion: Try another brand.

Hands down the BEST washer I have ever owned! Absolutely love this machine! It is quiet, efficient, easy to use, washes like a champ!, and plays a very pleasant musical tune when the load is complete. The only thing about it that I'm not crazy about is there is a rubber hose in the front of the machine that has to be pulled out so that waste water can be emptied from time to time. I don't know why they built this into the machine but it's a pain in the neck. Also, I truly wish LG made pedestals for these units as they are very low to the floor and bending over with my health problems is a real issue. Other than that I couldn't possibly be happier with laundry products than I am with these LG machines!

Machine came later than promised. Was purchased for use in elderly person's home. Machine is quiet. Albeit, the first time the metal pipes to which the hose is attached behind machine were not on properly some how they were crooked on the threads and when hose was attached and first used it leaked. The owner found water going to their basement. Machine had to be pulled out and the housing redone. Embarrassing as they gave permission to have washer. We tried buying a plastic tray for underneath and it is difficult for this size machine and fact that it goes under cabinet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Washer/Dryer units back in May & had to wait quite about a month for delivery due to availability... but it certainly was worth the wait...Easy to use, Quiet, they fit perfectly in my condo unit due to the small size. If your considering this unit I definitely recommend for you to purchase!

                Excellent Compact Washer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I couldn't be happier with this compact washer. It’s perfect for one person and an apartment. Operation is quiet, and the spin cycle (even at the highest) is well-balanced and quiet. Clothes come out nearly dry. Features I love include a Drain+Spin — which you will use if you have overloaded the washer and it can’t get the load balanced well enough to spin the contents dry (take out some of the contents and use Drain+Spin to get them rung out). I’ve used several cycles so far, and each works well for the type of load. I’ve been using the Tide pods (one per load, as this is a small washer). I tested with some really dirty clothes, and they came out perfectly clean. The only thing I looked for on this washer was a tub light (like the big LG has). One design consideration for LG is to think about using higher-contrast lettering on the control panel (or to back-light the entire panel). Beneath each selection is the name of the selection (Gray background with black lettering). This might be hard for some folks to read without direct light.

                    Horrible Product and Customer Support
I've only used this washer four times but am returning it. First, Home Depot advertises it as stackable and refers you to a LG stacking kit upon putting the washer in your cart (see picture). Problem is that it is the wrong stacking kit. The stacking kit for this 24" washier comes bundled with the dryer. If you just want a washer, and stack your existing dryer on top, you can't. Not because it isn't physically feasible, but because HD and LG will not make the stacking kit for the 24" washer available as a separate item. You have to buy the $900 dryer to get the $35.00 part. I asked HD to take a stacking kit off a dryer and send it to me. They wouldn't and now they've lost me as a customer.

                    Very Solid Build
We recently purchased the, LG WM1355HW, to replace a failing washer of similar size that was not quite five years old. Though we haven't had the LG WM1335HW for more than a month, we are so happy with its performance and build quality, that it trumps the old front loader by a wide margin. The LG model is very easy to use, does not jump around like the other machine we had. Comes with a myriad of options for different types of fabric, or loads (bulky, gentle..), and water temperature choices for the wash/rinse cycle. Home Depot made this purchase a no-brainer with free delivery, set-up, and free haul-away. The one knock for features is no liquid bleach dispenser. The owners manual talks a bit about liquid bleach, but it is somewhat ambiguous about it, and even a call to, LG Customer Support, was not encouraging about where to add the bleach. So, we just don't use liquid bleach for now, and will probably just resort to powdered non-chlorine bleach. The manual states that you can use "like" types of detergent/bleach in the main compartment, but that liquid will immediately drain/fall into the washer drum. That doesn't bode well if chlorine bleach comes into to contact with clothes sitting in the drum before the wash cycle starts. But, overall, we are very satisfied with this purchase!

                    Just what I needed.
I became tired of fixing my old Asko 12 004 that was 18 years old but lightly used. I needed to find a unit that would fit underneath the countertop in our small laundry room and this fit the bill. It is slightly larger than the Asko both in outer dimensions as well as in tub size/capacity. Very pleased with the energy efficiency ratings, though it does not qualify for our local power company rebate due to slightly high water consumption for its size. It's much quieter than my old machine which was a pleasant surprise. I do notice that the configuration of the gasket allows for water collection and may be a source of mold growth. I also found that occasionally small items will fall into the groove and plug the drainage hole. Plan to check regularly and keep the door open when not in use to get around this. Likewise, the soap drawer stays wet(especially in the rear fabric softener compartment). You'll have to take it out to drain pooled water if you want it to stay dry. Machine does not allow you to select variable temperatures – maximum temp on hot is stated to be 152° F. Overall very pleased. Too early to know about reliability.

                    great washer for tight spaces
we have a closet for our washer/dryer so most of the front loaders would not fit. despite being smaller, this washer still has great capacity and most of the features i wanted - no steam though. the dryer does have a 'wrinkle' and 'crease' care setting at least. the washer is easy to use, quiet and works well - even got out some old stains that the previous washer couldn't.

                    Small but Good
I got this because it was just about the only front loading washer I could find that was smaller than 27 inches and would fit down the stairs to my basement. I was a little concerned about the capacity but I am able to do a full load of queen sheets without a problem. It has a lot of buttons if you want options, but they don't make it over complicated if you don't use them. I normally just press the power button, turn the dial to cotton or permanant press and then press start. The one down side is that the door cannot be reversed. The way my laundry is set up the washer has to be on the right and so it makes it a little more difficult to move clothes between the washer and dryer when the open door is in the way. I was also dissapointed that they didn't make a matching gas dryer.

Man out two weeks ago to repair washer. Had to order a part. That part didnt fix problem, had to order another. Came back on Wednesday with part and installed it. On Friday, tried to do laundry, washer not working, won't fill. Repair out again, needs to order part, be back Friday. Its now Saturday, no part, no call, no email, nothing. Why wasnt it checked to see if working before he left after the second part installed? Why have we not been contacted at all?

We have had two repair men out in the last two weeks. The last time was two days ago. Tried to do a load of laundry today. Selected the desired settings, it turns on, and then nothing happens. It does an occasional spin and after a couple of minutes, we get error code 1E. Hoses are not bent, water knobs are turned on, water not frozen.
