LG warranty a joke
Don't use the self-clean function! I used it on my 3-year old range/oven and the glass on the inside of the oven door shattered. I tried to get compensated from LG for the repair but they refused. Apparently, the self-clean function isn't meant to be used. haha! I won't be buying or recommending any more LG appliances.

Cooks Unevenly
I would not recommend this range if to someone who enjoys cooking. I renovated my kitchen 6 months ago and did weeks of research on whether to stick with gas or get an induction range. I decided on induction because it is better for the environment and highly regarded as an alternative to gas. Yes, it boils water in seconds. But the reason I don’t like cooking with it is the burners cook unevenly. You can see where the element is under the pot because the food in the center of the pot cooks faster than the outer edge of the pot. This is a problem when braising or cooking anything with a roux or even cooking bacon. Even at medium temperature it cooks like this. Additionally, when using more than one burner the power is much less for each burner, so timing or estimating end time is tricky. The burners don’t burn as hot so its hard to know at what temperature it should be cooked. I will note that one of the burners was replaced by LG because it was faulty, but the cooking is still not what I expected. I have had no issues with the oven. Takes about 10 minutes to pre-heat to 400.

    Oven enamel problem
Bought the Range and have notice chips in the oven enamel. Home depot isn't going to fix problem even though I bought extended warrrenty, and LG isn't helping either. They said they only give 1 year manufacturer from LG. I've been getting the run around and so I'm stuck with this issue. Not caring if it lands on my food that I'm cooking in the oven. So warrenty isn't covering this. NOT GOOD. Never again will I buy this product. I have all LG in my house and so disappointed.

Great new range for our home
We had unexciting builder-supplied appliances in our new home, & opted to replace them all with LG. We did this entirely based on our past experience with the brand. We really love this new LG range, a great value with the impressive features for the money... my wife really missed having the convection oven feature. And my niece, a trained chef, couldn't believe how well the "pizza" option worked!

      Terrible performance and customer service
I’ve had this range installed for four months and when cooking on high heat my induction-safe pot bonded to the cooktop. When the pot came off the cooktop glass broke. I’ve been trying to access the one-year warranty for 6 weeks with no luck. In addition to that the normal functions are not great. The knob for the oven is counterintuitive and the way to change the settings for cook time are hard to operate. I made a major mistake going with LG and will avoid in the future.

        So far so good!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the simple & sleek design of this range. Because of summer heat, I have only used the cooktop & will update my review for the oven later. Induction cooking for me will take some getting used to as I have previously only cooked with gas. However, the burners heat up quickly & evenly. Make sure the cookware you have or purchase is magnetic - I bought a low end All Clad set that did not work with this stove. Now I carry a little magnet in my purse to check if a pan will work.

        Worth the wait!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After substantial research we selected the LG appliances (range, refrigerator, microwave, & dishwasher) to upgrade our kitchen. It took a few months to have the LG Induction Range delivered but well worth the wait. Definitely convinced that induction stove top coupled with a large convection oven is the best option for multiple reasons. It is a pleasure to cook with induction that heats the food and not the kitchen. We have cooked with gas and electric resistance, induction is much more efficient. Thank LG we look forward to years of cooking on our LG range.

A great addition to my new kitchen!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this new range because I remodeled my kitchen and wanted to start with all new appliances. And I didn't have a gas line to the kitchen, so induction was my best choice. I couldn't be happier! This range performs great, both the cooktop and the oven.

14 months old the temperature print on the knobs are coming off. The indicator lights for burn on and hot surface are gone. Like other reviews be careful if you have small children in the kitchen. The knobs turn on so easily when you are cleaning or cooking on the stove. It could burn someone's house down if you're not vigilant.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time using induction. Only thing we learned is that you need to spend a bit extra on the cookware. The “cheap” induction compatible is nothing but trouble. The Hexclad cookware is awesome and works great.

          Go for it !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hurricane delta wiped out our stove , over the range venting micro & roof ... after much research we picked this stove . We wanted induction for the quick heating , WiFi remote start. Our climate is hot - induction cooking doesn’t heat up the kitchen as much as gas or electric . The stove top is easy to clean . We impressed the neighbors by heating 2 quarts of water - which one of the neighbors clocked at 40 seconds . Since were also getting a new roof we decided to vent through the roof. Naturally I needed some new induction compatible cookware . That’s my trusty teapot (I think it whistles in about 3 seconds ) . That’s my new stockpot which will make beef stew tomorrow.

            Perfect for compact kitchen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a house and which needed updating. Among other things, I had the kitchen fitted and bought an entire suite of LG appliances. With no option for a gas range I went with Induction and it’s working like a champ. I like the fact that the range has knobs instead of touch settings and made the best Potato Latkes I’ve ever made last night and give the heat control credit for the results. I’ve baked cookies and cakes with great results as well. I spend a great deal of time in the kitchen and am very happy with my LG Induction Range.

Induction cook top combined with convection oven
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this LG LSE4616ST induction/convection range and could not be happier with it at this time. The induction burners are fantastic and being able to control the heat immediately results in better prepared food. The convection oven has worked very well as we baked cookies and they came out great no over baked bottoms. The oven also preheats very fast. Induction cook tops are the way to go, we are amazed at how fast water will boil and cooking food is just a pleasure due to the control you have with induction burners. We highly recommend induction ranges and this LG LSE4616ST is a winner.

One of the best buy decisions you can make
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I spent a lot of effort researching ranges over the Black Friday sales period. I looked at Gas and Induction. Standard electric is not on my list. I have always in the past gone for gas ranges and I could have again but decided to take a serious look at induction. After reading about the ranges and watching videos of gas versus induction, I decided on induction. Of the induction ranges I looked at this one had the features I desired. I did not want touch up/down for all the burners. This one has dials. It also has a heat settings LED indicator by every burner. It also offered a great oven. It took over a month to have this stove delivered but it was worth the wait. It has exceeded my expectations. Fast heating and near instantaneous temperature change response. I bought Circulon Symmetry induction compatible cookware and between the cookware's heavy bottom and the equal distribution of cooking energy, there are no hot spots and things cook great. The oven also lives up to expectations. There is one thing I do not understand, induction ranges are not featured by retailers. There was not one on the floor at Home Depot, Best Buy, or Lowes. Here we have a cooking technology that many professional cooks are saying is the future and the ranges are not even available to look at. A technology that makes standard electric stoves obsolete and has better temperature control than gas and is environmentally friendlier. Induction ranges also offer smooth cooktops. Something is wrong with this picture. There should be places with live induction ranges for people to see in action.

I enjoy baking in this oven, great proofing function for baking bread, good lighting and the coating seems to clean easily. The induction top has a learning curve as heating is fast and I need to adjust cooking time. Also had to replace a few stainless steel pots and pans that were not magnetic. Easy WiFi smarthome function although I still need to figure out what value it adds... Oven looks beautiful in the kitchen.

I have enjoyed this stove for over 3 months now, with not a single issue. It has a gorgeous sapphire blue interior which enhances the cooking experience. The power boost on each burner will have your foods sizzling in under twenty seconds. But use caution as it hits up extremely fast. The chime for the timer is a cute melody you never tire of hearing. The stove light flashes multiple times when ready for use. The convection bake time self adjusts from standard bake time. The top is very easy to maintain and I find simple dish soap and water leaves a nice streak free shine. Chrome trim along side the burners is easily marred if you slide pans across them, so recommend you always have a pot holder nearby. The oven is true to temperature, so take care when you first begin baking and keep an eye on foods, as my older stove took longer to bake. Make note that this stove is an induction stove top and it will not recognize pans that are not of certain metals. So if a magnet doesn't stick to you pot or pan, it will not be recognized by the stove and the burner will not heat. All in all a great stove at a great price.

This 30” slide-in Induction range does have an induction cooktop but it is not a true slide in range and it puzzles me that it is labeled as one. This range is a FREE STANDING range whose top sit against the edge of the adjacent countertops whereas a slide in range the glass top slides over the countertop and appears to rest on it. It is a disservice to this otherwise excellent all around range that it’s form has been mischaracterized. As with any new appliance the manufacturer instructs the owner to read the manual before operating the appliance. While LG includes a QUICK START guide that outline basic operations, I cannot stress strongly enough the importance of READING THE FULL MANUAL! There are multiple setting and not so obvious features that you will want to use and will use once you discover how to do so. After using my new range for a full month I believe I am in a position to identify its positive features as well as a few items that took some time to get used to and others that could use some improvement. First the things that I absolutely love: 1. The induction cooktop is everything I have heard about cooking with one. It is by far the fastest electric cooktop I have ever used and certainly faster than anything I have ever owned. It brings 4 quarts of water to a rolling boil in a stainless steel pan in less than 7 minutes and bring my tea kettle with a couple cups of water to a boil in under 2 minutes. As soon as I turn off the burner the water stops boiling immediately. Additionally, although the stove top gets hot from heat transferred from the pan or kettle back to the glass top, the burner itself does not get hot. 2. The oven preheats to 400F in several minutes and is much faster than any oven I have ever owned, despite other reviewer’s comments to the contrary. 3. The oven automatically adjusts its temperature when using the CONVECTION BAKE mode vs standard BAKE mode, thus eliminating the necessity to do the conversion yourself. For example, for a baking temp of 400F and oven automatically sets to a lower 375F when CONVECTION BAKE is chosen. 4. Using CONVECTION BAKE, multiple trays of cookies can be baked on different racks simultaneously and the results will be consistent throughout all racks. See the attached picture at the end of this review. 5. Most settings and operations are controlled by large rotary dials instead of keypads loaded with row after row of tiny, hard to read buttons. For example, set the oven to BAKE with the dial and then use the keypad’s up arrow to set the temperature. Press START button and that’s it. 6. The oven can be set to sound a tone when the PREHEAT temperature has been reached. It will even send this tone to your smart device ie. iPhone, if you set up the wireless feature on this WiFi enabled range. 7. Three heavy, chrome plated oven racks slide smoothly and easily, plus the cobalt blue porcelain interior is gorgeous especially when the bright interior light automatically turns on when you open the oven door. 8. Since the cooktop does not get hot like a traditional smoothtop which cause spills and splatters to bake onto it, this top is a breeze to keep clean. After each use I wash it with a soapy dish cloth, rinse it, and wipe it dry with a clean towel. After a month of heavy use it still looks brand new. LG includes a sample bottle of special ceramic glass top cleaner and pad. I use it once a week to keep the glass shiny and new looking. Full size bottles are available at Home Depot. 9. There are additional oven setting such as CONVECTION ROASTING that LG claims will reduce cooking times by 20%. I have not had the opportunity to use it yet but expect it to preform as advertised. 10. The touch keypad has only 9 buttons as most adjustments are made using the large dials. This allows the bottons to be larger and spaced far enough apart to prevent accidental operation. 11. The power levels of each stovetop burner is indicated by a linear red LED line located in front of each burner; the longer the line - the greater the power level and vise versa. 12. There is both a QUICK CLEAN cycle which uses steam created by misting down the interior of the oven with plain water with the spray bottle provided and slightly heating the oven. You can then simply wipe away minor splatters from the warm surfaces. Of course, there is also the standard CLEAN cycle which uses high heat and a long cycle to reduce heavy oven dirt to ash, which can be wiped away with a damp cloth once the oven cools sufficiently and the door unlocks. The LG range does have a couple of things that could use improvement or at least will take some time getting used to: 1. The TIMER function can be a bit tricky to get used to setting. To use, press TIMER ON/OFF then set the amount of time with the “+ -“ buttons. Pressing and holding either button adds or subtracts time in 10 second increments. To add in increments of 1’s you must tap the buttons repeatedly. 2. There are multiple mistakes in the enclosed USER INSTRUCTIONS booklet included with this range. For example, in one section it gives the location of the stove top WARMING element as being in the middle of the stove top but in another section it identifies the correct location in the back, right corner. 3. Under normal lighting conditions I found the tiny white labeling on each button on the keypad to be difficult to read without bending over slightly. Either larger type or brighter white letter would be helpful. Of course, a backlit keypad would be the best of all solutions. This LG INDUCTION RANGE tied for the overall #1 ranking in a leading consumer magazine. LG provides consumers with non-transferable 1 year parts and labor warranty to the original owner. This range is imported.

This is a wonderful range. My daughter has had a Viking induction range and she loves it. I have wanted an induction range for quite awhile. The price point of induction ranges is much more reasonable than it was years ago. I am so happy to have this new range. The first thing to understand is that induction ranges cook by magnet. For this reason, your pan will only work if a magnet sticks to the pan. Luckily I had a set of All-Clad pans that works with the range. I did need to buy a few non stick pans. I was able to find some at the discount stores. Take a magnet with you when you shop so you can test pans. I had to buy a new teapot too. Another great thing about the range is that the cooktop does not get hot like electric glass tops. For this reason, messes will not "cook" on the top. The top is very easy to clean. The glass top can scratch, so put pans down with care and only use cleaning products that the manufacturer recommends. The oven is great too. I love the bright blue interior. Another thing to know about induction ranges is that the cooktop does not produce much heat since the heat goes directly into the pan. For this reason, you can use a very basic exhaust fan. You do not need one of those expensive exhaust fans like some gas ranges require. I love this beautiful range. I have attached some pictures of the range in my kitchen. The delivery of the range was handled well. We were not quite ready for the range, so we had it left in the garage in the box. My husband and son-in-law were able to install the range easily. Check your electrical outlet. New homes require a 4 prong plug and older homes require a 3 prong plug. You will have to buy the right plug for your installation. Either plug can be installed on the back of the range. I have not used the WiFi feature yet. I have also not used the short cleaning time for the oven. When necessary to clean the oven, I cannot wait to try it!

The safety of induction top was a big deal for me considering one of my kids got badly burnt a few years ago on a stove top that holding residual heat. The top DOES still hold heat but its still a lot safer. I love the efficiency of the induction top, I tested and timed- a efficiently boiled pan of water in about 2 minutes...BIG time saver. The oven cooks everything perfectly , and I like that its a option to use the convection fan - or not. Also like that it automatically adjusts temperature by lowering when you use the convection option. I was a little peeved that half of my pans didn’t work with the induction top so I had to buy a few new ones, I was worried I'd have to spend a small fortune but after a search- It all worked out at the end of the day I was able to replace the pans that were not compatible for about $40. A few things I didn't like so much were that the front knobs are very touchy and easy to accidentally bump on which we have done several times. Ya its harmless if you do not keep pans on the stove top, but it worries me since I often leave a pan to dry after washing. I find the larger front burner is a bit touchy, when pan is moved slightly it senses it as a smaller pan and turns off which is Just annoying. Also I don't like that's there's only one timer and adjusting it is a pain. and the bottom storage drawer feels flimsy to me, should have a better feel for the price. Overall I'm still pleased with its function so I will have to work around the cons. One more Pro- its just a gorgeous stove...I find myself staring lol.

Every Thing ypu Could want in a Range
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned this induction range for about 2 years and it lives up to all the clams and then some. We love how quickly it cooks on the turbo burners and how quickly the oven heats up. But beyond that its all that a range should be: cooks well, bakes quickly when in convection mode, does not heat up the house after baking, cooking surface cleans up easily saves energy. What more could you want?
