A couple of years ago, my husband and I downsized and sold the home we raised our children in. We moved to a warmer climate and bought a condo half the size of the place we called home for over 30 years. The condo came with a perfectly working, somewhat updated dishwasher. The first time we ran a load of dishes, it sounded like jetliner engine and a locomotive all rolled into one. We knew right away that our first purchase had to be the Quietest dishwasher available. After some research, my hubby said 'Get this LG' and boom, quick online order and viola' peace and quiet in our 890 sq ft retirement nest. Thank-you LG, oh and the dishes are really clean too and I keep track of everything through the online app. Great convenience and efficiency is our new Quiet dishwasher.

I have had almost every single kind of dishwasher. I usually get about a year out of one, because I use mine once a day minimum, several days a week twice. But this machine has so far kept the bad odors away, has cleaned amazingly well, is quiet and efficient. I’ve never had such a good machine, most start breaking down within a couple of months. I would buy this again. And I recommend it to anyone that’s had issues with dishwashers. This will make you happy!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nothing but problems with this machine. Heating element died 18months in. The water still gets hot, but the drying feature doesn’t work. Mildewed smelling dishes. Replaced the front control panel last month due to errors being placed after every wash. Drain feature works really well manually. Old water doesn’t seem to get sucked all the way out after a cycle. Very disappointed.

Fingerprint resistant front is helpful but the metal seems a bit thin for a premium product. Effortlessly closing racks and door takes a little getting used to but is an improvement over previous models. Overall a good buy with one star subtraction for thinner metal front.

I like the features it has , 3 adjustable racks for dishes and utensils, steam, and turbo washes. It's quiet while in use and the design matches the rest of my kitchen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this LG Signature dishwasher in early January 2021 from Costco that replaced an 8-year old GE dishwasher. Delivery was relatively quick by the 3rd week in January. It's very quiet and I love the interior tub LED lights that are very bright that light up the inside of the dishwasher so I can easily see the dishes that are placed in there. All the previous dishwashers I had didn't have any interior lights, so these lights really help me a lot. It has Wi-Fi connectivity that I linked to the LG ThinQ app on my cellphone that shows the settings and status, such as how many minutes are remaining on the wash, estimated time when it will be completed, which is helpful so I don't need to come downstairs to check if the dishwasher is done washing. As for the installation of this new dishwasher, Costco arranged with a company named Kepco to do the installation after the delivery. When the installer came 3 weeks after the delivery in early February 2021, he removed my old GE dishwasher, installed the new LG, and hauled away the old unit. He did a good job on the installation which took him around an hour and half to complete. I used the new dishwasher for the first time last night and all my dishes were sparkling clean, cleaner than with my old GE dishwasher. Hopefully I will have many years of trouble-free use out of this LG dishwasher.

It is a top of her line product that works as advertised. After reading through the manual, operating the machine is quite simple.

The lower basket does not stay open while loading; the catch does not engage easily and requires several attempts to close. Both are very annoying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bottom rack is so terrible designed. It's like a divider row is missing or something and dishes fall over without proper support. And it literally does NOT DRY. It will be days and still I will pull out dishes that are wet. This was an obviously brand new machine when we bought our house just 18 months ago and I cannot stand it.

I have had this unit for about a month. It has been beyond my expectations. The quality is excellent, the features are excellent with the exception of the thin q. I Gstaad not being able to turn on my unit by phone or tablet. Finally the sound is amazing. I only hear the water exciting the unit. For the most part that is all I hear even in a quiet room. A must have for anyone looking for a top quality dishwasher that's use friendly

This beautiful unit performs the way you hoped a top line unit should behave. It is very very quiet, and it leaves things sparkling clean.

Worst installation experience of my life. The company didn’t install all the required parts the first time coming to my home. The company was very rude and left half way through the second attempt of installation (leaving the dishwasher out of service). Finally the company got the new dishwasher working on their third attempt but left without leveling the unit. The drawers would close themselves. I finally decided to fix it myself. I found that the company didn’t install all the parts and the drain line was kinked, so I ordered the installation kit and completed the installation myself. The dishwasher works great now.

Installer was extremely rude and unhelpful to my wife who was alone during installation. She asked questions about how to work the dishwasher and was told to read the manual by the tech that installed it. The same individual also seemed to do a very shotty job, I noticed that the dishwasher is off centered and I’ll need to have someone come back out to correct the issue. I’m happy with my purchase but extremely dissatisfied with the installation experience.

Super quiet, gets dishes super clean. Silverware rack up top is really convenient, though it is a little rickety compared to the other shelves. Installation was annoying (as most appliance installations are), as they had to come back twice and then we ended up installing it ourselves anyway because it was slightly more complicated than just plugging it in and they wouldn't do it without a specialist. But now that it's installed, we love it!

Just got delievered 24in LG Signature 38dBA Smart Dishwasher with stainless steel tub & truesteam. Expected this to be even more quiet, than my old 44dBA dishwasher. Instead, its more noisy. I can hear as it works, etc. Our old Kitchenaid 44dBA was truly quite, very often we opened the door in accident since could not hear that it's running. This one LG Signature is not the case. When I measure with the phone app, it shows 45-50 dBA In general it looks stardy made. There is no orange color inside like on a cheper regular LG models, all parts are made from steel, except some grey plastic on upper racks, which is OK The noise level is disappointing. Not sure, when people reviweing this as a very quite. maybe its quite after their old dishwashers like with 58dBA, but it's not quite after 44dBA KitchenAid purchased 5 years ago, which unfortunately, started to leak and we decided to replace it.

Our last LG dishwasher lasted 8 years, and we’re looking forward to another decade with a quality system. To have the new features of interior lights, quad wash, and steam are significant upgrades to our last unit. It’s also very Geoff to have so much flexibility when it comes to rack placement. Who knew doing dishes could be so much fun?

Love the dishwasher. Nice and quiet except when it drains. Installation sucked due to the myriad of insulation and parts that needed to be installed.

So far so good. Lots of wash options I may never use. Lots of space and adjustable racks make it easy to accommodate large loads and all shapes of dishes. Very quiet.

I had to replace an old Bosch dishwasher and chose this one because of the reviews and the noise level. I'm impressed with the features, the blast of steam really works on a tough mess and the night dry function works very well!

This is the best dishwasher I have ever had. It washes everything crystal clean. You need to use a rinse agent however. My daughter-in-law was skeptical about a crusty macaroni and cheese dish that I put in but it came out clean and bright. The wash cycle is longer than I am used to but not a big issue.

We had an issue where the dishwasher would not drain (about 3 weeks before the manufacturer warranty expired) and the LG Signature team came through. The service side of LG ownership is legit...parts are sent to your home prior to the appointment and the service technician was professional, quick and couldn't tell he was there after he was done. Overall, I think I'm an LG customer for life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wash motor gave out after 1.5 year. Bought the unit almost day 1 after it was released. Disappointed that we had to call support and have someone come out twice to fix it. For being a Signature product, I would hope for signature reliability.
