Installation was easy and the wires fitted onto the screws just fine. The only thing I did not realize is that this is a rectangle configuration and as such, you need the correct face plate to fit over it.

I have purchased this Leviton 15 amp 125 volt duplex self testing tamper resistant/weather resistant GFCI outlet before because they are easy to install and work great.

You bother me to death over a ubiquitous product but your stores offer no help in person.

Home Depot had these waiting for me at the service desk. It would have taken me forever to get the right one by searching the shelves so I paid online and then picked it up, a great service to have available! I just I had never heard of the weather resistant outdoor outlets before and My building inspector required this in my outdoor RV 20 Amp outlets so I installed them and then he passed my electric with flying colors. I personally like the fact that these are tamper resistant AND weather resistant too. I will install them again ANYWHERE there is a potential for moisture.

I installed it near a Bathroom Countertop. It later tripped due to Hair Dryer and it became very difficult to reset. The Reset button had to be pushed very hard and several times for it to click back on. It is a mechanical problem in the GFI outlet. I replaced it with a different version (not WR nor Tamper Resistant) from Leviton and it works fine now. I will not purchase their WR or Tamper Resistant outlets in the future.

Love the fact it’s weather resistant And there is a green light that is constantly on to show it’s in working condition

this solved my problem with a sprinkler system, non-weather resistant would trip after a heavy rain

This is a very good product. I had an outdoor GFCI outlet in a covered outlet box. After a few years this GFCI started tripping for no reason and shutting off my nighttime patio lights. I purchased this GFCI weather-resistant outlet from Home Depot on-line, and replaced the bad one. It works perfectly. No more dark patio.
