We always have wall warts and something plugged in charging...
We always have wall warts and something plugged in charging in the kitchen. We added this to the charging spot, and it is nice and clean, and also allows us to use the other outlets at the same time.

usb-c failed within an hour
was excited to get this as the almond ones arent stocked in store. seemed to be good at first then after 1 day the USB-C ports started turning themselves on and off every second or so. tried multiple cords. outlets still worked fine but the reason i bought it was to not have 2 usb-c chargers plugged in all the time. oh well, good idea though.

Work’s fine, the only little problem that I don’t like is that after you contact usb-c cable it takes approximately 2 to 3 seconds to start charging, but other than that works fine.

We have a lot of portable electronic gadgets in our house. From tablets, phones and laptops. Leviton outlet with USB-C was the perfect solution for our charging needs. We have charged our MacBooks with these outlets with no problems. Leviton are only 30 watts of charging, but the MacBooks charge from 10% to full overnight. One of the new outlet is in our bedroom. We hear no noise and the outlet never gets warm. I highly recommend it for a clean look and ease of charging your gadgets

Terrible charging speed
There is no fast charging with this outlet. Even using just one port, expect a charge time of several hours if your phone is below 20%. And if you are using your phone while it's plugged in (Streaming music, watching YT, etc.) expect your phone to DRAIN power instead.
Save your money - buy a decent normal outlet, and use the savings to buy some quality charging bricks instead. Better power output & better value for your money.
I regret buying & installing 3 of these.

The phone’s max power draw is 15W at fast charging. All electronic devices charge with higher power levels when the battery power level is low. As it charges and the battery heats up, the charge decreases to protect the battery. Super big, charges fast
This thing will charge all my devices and fast charges my samsung tablet. This is physically a lot bigger then the outlet that it was replacing. Easy to install but just be warned of how much depth this thing takes in the box.

Excellent quality and straightforward installation. This takes up more space in your outlet box than a standard outlet, so you'll need to make sure your wires are tucked in well. Keep in mind that USB-C will draw more amps during charge than standard USB, so make sure this won't potentially overload your circuit. Haven't had any problems so far, but I don't generally draw maximum amperage across my circuits.

Not wanting to install older USB-A ports for charging I...
Not wanting to install older USB-A ports for charging I decided to try this out. The outlet is huge and takes up a bunch of space in the electrical box. My 70 year old metal boxes couldn’t hold them so I had to replace the box as well.
Just remember that 30W is the total USB output. My 15” MacBook normally takes 100W and this wasn’t enough to use it AND charge at the same time. Plugging in two USB devices means each will only go up to 15W and is fine for phones, but not USB PD speeds.
