I have purchased these hooks in the past with no problems, but recently have had two hooks fail - one with no weight on them and one with just about 5 pounds on it. Not sure if it was just this batch may have had a bad weld, but very disappointed in these Liberty hooks.

Liberty Hardware 3 in. Venetian Bronze Coat Hook with Round Base This is a nicely finished coat hook for applications that want a smaller less obtrusive coat hook. With a maximum weight rating of 35 pound should hold most items without concern. Screws are included but only use them if screwing the hook onto a wood door or other wood surface. The hook as installed in the photos was installed over drywall and the two 7/8-inch-long screws would not hold the hook securely with less than 3/8 inch of threads left. The hook was installed with 1 5/8-inch drywall screws. The hook projects 1 7/8-inch from the wall when mounted.

The Liberty 3 in. Venetian Bronze Coat Hook with Round Base....if you need a small dark bronze hook this might be a good choice I received the Liberty 3 in. Venetian Bronze Metal Hook through the Home Depot Seeds Program in exchange for a fair and honest review. This item was received within 10 days of ordering and received in good condition. This bronze hook is a fairly simple design and is a very dark bronze, almost black. It is on the smallish side, only 3 inches, so if you had plans to hang anything heavy you may want to consider a more substantial hook. The package included two screws but did not include any anchors which is the reason for the 4 stars. You will need a 3/4 inch drill bit to install this hook and included screws. Installation is fairly simple, you mark the two holes on the spot on the wall and drill two 3/4 holes. I inserted two small plastic wall anchors to stabilize this hook, otherwise if something heavy is hung on this it most likely will pull right out of the wall. All in all this is an okay hook, the design is small and simple and can be used for light weight items. It appears that it is made in China and retails for under $4.00. The Liberty brand usually makes fairly good quality hardware- hooks, drawer handles and cabinet pulls and although this isn't a heavy duty hook it is functional for hanging a towel or squeegee in the bathroom.

Sweet little hook that fits just about anywhere in size and design. We're redoing the bathroom and we both like a simple sort of design look to our house's hardware. This hook fits the bill. It has two hooks, so I can see where maybe five of these could be lined up on the wall near a door or in a mudroom to hold wet coats, umbrellas, or even for hanging shoes tied together at the laces.

What can I say about a coat hook, except it works and it looks very nice. It is solidly built and very nice to put in any location where you need a coat hook. The bronze finish is attractive and goes with any décor. I am actually using it as a towel or bathrobe hook in a bathroom. Since I have wood walls, mounting it was easy as I didn’t have to find a stud or use any wall anchors. I would suggest using hollow wall anchors rather than the plastic anchors if you mount it anywhere but on a stud. It’s an attractive coat hook and I recommend it.

Liberty Brainerd® die cast zinc coat hook has a bronze finish for matching similar fixtures in the bathroom. It’s used mainly for hanging robes and towels; it does the job. Height is 3 9/16 inches, projection from wall is 2 7/16 inches. Screws included with my sample are an inch long. Drill pilot holes of adequate size for fairly easy insertion if driving into wood studs. Instructions recommend 3/32 inch drill bit. Screw anchors are not included for attachment to drywall. Made in China.

This satin nickel coat hook appears to be well made and of fairly high quality materials. I;m sure it was made by a casting process but there are no noticeable seems along the edges where the mold would have joined. It is very smooth. The finish is even and uniform. It came with standard sheetrock anchors but I feel one should opt for the heavier ones given the weight this might hold. We are using it in our remodeled bathroom where it loos great with the new paneling!

Looks good, easy installation and sturdily built. . One of the truisms of life is that you always need at least one more way to hang something up than what you currently have. Sure there are temporary fixes such as those that slip onto a door, but they have drawbacks. This coat hook installs very easily. It looks nice and has performed up to my expectations for a coat hook. While it doesn't come with drywall anchors I don't regard this as a problem because I discard most of those anyway (https://www.homedepot.com/p/E-Z-Ancor-Twist-N-Lock-8-x-1-1-4-in-Phillips-White-Nylon-Flat-Head-75-Medium-Duty-Drywall-Anchors-with-Screws-20-Pack-25210/100140114 is a better option IMHO).

The 3 inch satin nickel coat hook is very nicely made. The price kind of tricks you into thinking it was a cheap piece of hardware but this is a really nice piece. the coat hook comes with the mounting screws that are required to mount with the same finish. The profile is the standard look but if you ask me it has a bit of an updated modern look that will work well in transitional, country or modern decorating. The picture attached shows real world dimensions.

Very nice clothes or tile hook.. Well made, looks good, priced properly. I would have no hesitation to purchase. The supplier offers a complete line of hooks in many styles. Very simple installation, place hook on back of door where you want it to be, make sure its level, mark your screw holes, drill or hand screw two screws and you have a nice hook ready for you needs. I put these on the back of all bathroom doors and all bedroom and closet doors.

Very close match to a few that I purchased several years ago. Lucky for me I have a treasure trove of small screws b/c this item only had one of the two in the package.

I use these to hold my kids backpacks.. 2 have broken so far where the hook slips right out of its hole. The weld job on these are not strong.

Excellent hook for any use. There isn't a lot to to say other than the basics. It appears to well med and a quality item that I hope lasts for some time. I have been disappointed with others that claim to be brass but are instead a cheap lead from elsewhere. It looks great and has a nice oil rubbed bronze appearance. It installs quickly without issue.

The Venetian Bronze Coat Hook with Round Base is an excellent multi-purpose oil rubbed bronze wall hook. The three inch size is small, but it is capable of holding a towel or a robe or even small kitchen tools. Due to its smaller size, it can be attached in a small area on the wall. What is nice is that there are two matching colored screws provided, however, there are no wall mount assists, from rubber wall inserts to similar non-stud wall attachment aids. Not a big deal (I have a box of these little aids from over the years), but it might require you to make a separate purchase if you are mounting it just to sheet rock. In my case, I mounted it directly to wall studs adjacent to our shower (to hold a towel). The hook has a design that blends in well with existing bronze fixtures in your bath, kitchen, or utility room. Overall, a well made small hook that can meet many needs in a home.

I have always had a problem with throwing my keys down when I come in. That frequently results in my having to look for them and trying to to remember where it was that I put them.I stuck this up on the wall near my door (I used a couple of plastic anchors that I had on hand.) and this has resulted in much less time spent looking for my keys. They hook itself is stout and looks good. The finish has not been marred so far from the keys. I have no doubts that it would hold a coat as well.

The three-inch Bronze Coat Hook (round base) is a simple, yet an elegant coat and hat hook that looks great in any décor. My wife chose to use this hook in the kitchen. I received this coat hook today and installed it on the back of a door leading into my shop. The installation was pretty easy. I drilled two pilot holes for the screws and then screwed the hook onto the door very quickly. The coat hook has two hooks so I can hang a coat on one and a hat on the other. No movement was noted when putting the coat on the hook. A very nice looking piece to complement the back of my door.

.This coat hook is an ideal match for any bathroom with satin nickel accessories. It is pleasing to look at and is practical. The designer got the dimensions and the locations of the two hooks just right. Two satin nickel screws are provided. These would fit a solid wood door or similar backing. I am not sure how a hollow door would support this coat hook.

This is a nice small coat hook. If you're looking for something in a mudroom or entry that will accommodate several garments then you'll probably want a larger hook. But something like a robe on the back of the bathroom door it's perfect. Solid with decent weight I have several places where this will function and not bang into the wall when I open the door.
