For those hard to reach bulbs, this seems like a great idea. For removing the old bulb, it worked beautifully. However, the amount of force it takes to get the bulb off of the sticky pad is simply too much once up in the fixture over your head. See you have to twist to remove the sticky pad from the bulb. t's incredibly difficult not to pull while you twist on an extension pull. We nearly ruined the canister/fixture trying to get the bulb off. We ended up taking it back down and using a ladder to replace the bulb again. I'm just glad we didn't try it out on the vaulted ceiling light! Even when twisting off the bulb, the sticky pad leaves a residue on the bulb. We tested several other bulbs with the same result. Plus, once the sticky pad wears out, you will need a new one. We will stick with our suction cup and wire extension for changing high light-bulbs.

Handy little tool to have for changing those ight bulbs that are just above your reach capabilities. Screws on to most extension poles, however not all. The bulbs are usually similar in style to flood light bulbs and most often found in recessed lighting. This tool will save you time from having to go and get the step ladder. It's a good time saver and easy to use.

The LS Light Bulb Changer Topper: This works very well on regular shaped bulbs, or bulbs with a more conventional type shape. The Topper is definitely sticky enough to be able to loosen and remove your light bulbs that are in high places. And it will even hold them good enough to twist and tighten them pretty good ! When done changing your burned out light bulb, you do have to put the paper cover back on when done using. They just screw counter clockwise to remove from the extension pole, and to tighten them back on, just screw them clockwise to tighten, don't over tighten.

The LS Light Bulb Changer Topper is a very lightweight, compact, and easy to use light bulb changer! The size is great for any bulb you have and you will find that the adhesive pads for this topper are top notch so your bulbs wont -unstick, fall, and shatter during change out. Note that the changing pole/stick is not included in this package though - it is just the topper to screw into the pole.

Not very impressed. It is a disc that screws onto the end of a broomstick. It has a sticky pad that is suppose to hold the bulb in place while you push with the broomstick. It was actually too large for the bulbs we were trying to change but it gave me enough of an understanding of how we should try to remove the bulbs we were working with. A suction cup or any flat surface should work to hold the bulb in place while you turn it and then pull it out.

I have a similar pole which is telescoping and uses a suction cup to hold the bulb. I prefer the suction cup version but this one works well to replace bulbs too. For any bulbs that are within ten feet high, I would simply use a ladder. For the many people that do not like climbing ladders, this is a good method for replacing bulbs. I will use this on my extension pole to replace higher bulbs when it is necessary. Maybe my opinion will change then

I ordered this light bulb changer and it was called Lickety Split light bulb topper changer. I thought it was a bulb changer for high set ceilings with a pole to attach to it, but it did not come with a pole to attach to it. So, as is, not much good to get any use out of it without a pole. About a week later I found a pole at Home Depot that would attach to the bulb changer and went home and tried it on a high rise bulb I had in the kitchen. The light bulb topper handled the bulb really well and I got the job done.

This product is a great idea but not well designed for a difficult challenge. When using this bulb changing topper to change a glass incandescent bulb, the new bulb can break loose from it's metal base as the pad is so sticky. The second problem is that the pad is so sticky that removing it is very difficult once the new bulb is installed. The difficulty of glass bulb breakage is much more reduced with LED bulbs as they are in a plastic housings. The difficulty of removing from the bulb once installed is still the same.

Works great, much better then the other style that places a wire frame around. This worked with hard to reach spotlights on my 14 ft. Ceilings for both removing and installing a new bulb!

The quality of this product is good and it appears useful, but I would recommend that the company include a wand to attach to the product. Plastic handles are not very sturdy and could easily break when trying to unscrew a tight bulb. Not very many people have a wooden handled broomstick that unscrews and it would be a pain to have to hunt something up to use. If you have an extension wand for a paint roller, that might work, but again it's not really that useful without the handle.

I am extremely happy with this light bulb changer. This device is easy to use and being able to change the bulb without needing a ladder or climbing on a chair makes changing the bulb safe. Every household or business should have one available.

The light bulb changer works really god. I did have to find a rod that I could screw it into tho and that was the only bad thing about it. It pretty versatile and does save a lot of climbing. It also is very safe and prevents burning your hands from a hot bulb that just burned out. It should last a long time if syored properly and taken care of. I gave it a solid 4 rating.
