Best ever carpet cushion. Had it installed almost two years ago. Super supportive and comfortable. I’m on my feet all day doing chores and chasing our kids and pets. No smell, way better than bonded urethane. No residual smell, cool air channels keep air moving to keep our floors dry. Never smell and easily to clean.

I recently install carpet in my basement and used Lifeproof Carpet Cushion. This is by far the best cushion I have ever used. It was extremely easy to install and very light weight. The new technology is fantastic. I love the feel and the grooves on the bottom will allow any moisture coming from the concrete to evaporate. Why didn’t they think of the is earlier??????

I’m a professional contractor that installs all types of flooring. My client ordered this cushion for me to install as part of an entire home remodeling job. This product is the best carpet pad I have ever seen or used in my 28 years doing this work. The pad is one single piece of foam, supportive and has these air flow channels that face the subfloor- impressive.! It’s waterproof. I checked it myself by cutting a piece and dunking it in water. Thank you Home Depot!

We installed this in 3 bedrooms and a hallway in May 2021. I took a chance on this being a new product. I've been happy so far. It is firmer and more supportive than other pads. Quiet under foot. And the 7/16 is working well on stairs as well.

We needed a new padding for a large area rug in our living room...and with a new puppy the Lifeproof pad sounded like the perfect solution. I also needed a pad outdoors to go under a new outdoor batting cage in my backyard. We wanted to put a pad under the turf. Despite not being "certified" for outdoor use, the pad looks great and to-date has help up fantastic. Very happy with my selection...very happy with the feel of the carpet pad in both situations.

So far so good. I hope it wears over time as well as it is working out right now, brand new.

Never seen a carpet pad like this in my 64 years on this planet. My joints ache and my knees are unstable from two knee replacements. Life Proof feels very supportive for my body and the technology with the air channels and waterproof material sets the new standard for carpet pad. Thank you!

great. love it. wish I hadn't previously spent money on the cheap stuff. cuts so easily and it's very light. if you have pets and children - just go with this carpet padding.

Bought two rolls to change the cushioning under 36-year-old carpeting in 3 bedrooms, bath and closets. The previous cushioning was simple foam and compressed to almost nothing in the high traffic areas. The Lifeproof product was easy to install and gave the old carpet a new life. Excellent spring to the floors now and probably good for another 20 years. Love it!

No other product like it. Much better than what they try to sell you in the store including the same brand.

Very early on, but it has the thickness & comfort I was looking for and the waterproof means I'll never have to trash it if it gets wet, like the aggregate foam crap. Size was over in width.

Best thing to use as padding for your home if you don't mind the additional cost. Used it for my Home Theater and it feels amazing with a very soft feel for your feet.

I ordered this pad and can’t believe how easy it was to install. I have bad knees and this pad is so comfortable and supportive. It was the best decision I ever made!!!!

Had a musty smell in bedroom due to wet slab from high water table. Sealed floor and used LP carpet pad. Worked great! No more smell or damp carpet. Great product, should be available to purchase in store when buying new carpet.

We went to Home Depot for new carpet and the flooring employee recommended Lifeproof cushion because it is supportive and durable. We love the fact that it is waterproof as one single layer. Totally impressed by the features. Will be using it again in our second home.

if you’re looking for extremely soft memory foam like padding this is not the one for you. Although it’s not as soft as usual padding, I feel in time it WILL soften up and then you’ll have the best of both worlds soft, durable and waterproof.

The pad is great; IMPORTANT NOTE!!!! Make sure the team installing know that the seaming iron needs to be at a low setting; pad instructions state that anything over 194 degrees F. will melt pad. Ensure that the installation team knows this beforehand, so they can bring carpet seam tape that melts at a lower temperature. Our carpet was installed by home depot service, they didn't want to listen (possibly a language barrier) and the pad bubbled up quite badly on the seam. They tried to stretch it down, and will see how long it lasts... Home Depot.... ensure your service install tech's are trained on this new pad!!!

I installed carpet in my basement and ordered Lifeproof 7/16” carpet cushion to put down. I was amazed at how easy it went down and how great it felt. I’m glad I spoke with Steve in flooring because he recommended it highly. I am super satisfied!!

Firmer then a typical pad this thick, but really high quality. Its pretty clear this won't absorb moisture and will hopefully last a long time. I'd compare the touch and feel of it to a thick firm yoga mat.

Installed this in our upstairs play room 2 weeks ago, already notice a difference in sound. Love that it is anti-microbial and waterproof. Perfect for our kids, will be buying again for future remodels.

After it takes time to recive my item, finally this life proof cushion make exactly what I expected. For those who are living in noisy apartments and if you have kids who run here and there this is for you.

My wife and I have always wanted to refinish our basement but never did because of dampness. Then we discovered Lifeproof carpet cushion and our dreams were realized. Thanks to the waterproof and anti microbial properties, we carpeted our basement and made a great area for entertaining. We have piece of mind knowing our investment is protected. After doing a lot of research I’m so happy I came across this carpet pad - its truly waterproof! I initially had it installed in my basement but I’m so happy with this pad I’m going to have it installed in my upstairs as well to protect my carpet against the kiddos and dog - definitely recommend!

We finally decided to update the carpet throughout our home after being stuck here for the last year. Our entire family loves the feel of our new carpet with Lifeproof underneath. The padding is the best ever! Our living space is comfortable and cozy and the padding is more supportive than any other carpet pad. When our old pad was removed we noticed it was worn down and stained. My husband also said our rooms are quieter.
