This flooring is awesome!!

The flooring is gorgeous! It hides all of the dirt and footprints my busy family leaves behind and doesn’t even show the white pet hair that my pit bull sheds! It also takes a lot of abuse like things being dropped on it with no dents or scratches. I highly recommend it, especially since it is waterproof as well and therefore can be installed through the entire house making it look so much bigger! And I have gotten so many compliments on how good it looks. I would highly recommend it!!

The floor looks great, is solid and feels good on the feet. it has the appearance of wood and has recessed imperfections molded in. I was skeptical about this new kind of flooring (to me) as I was going to install tile, but happy with this. will post back to report on durability.

I was some what reluctant to install a 6.5mm floor in my home. I originally bought the material from a competitor and as I was researching a better option, I came across Lifeproof while walking through my local HD. With no need for underlayment this seemed to be a better option. I canceled the original order sans any restocking fee because after three weeks my ordere still hadn't left the depot. I placed my order with HD and experienced minor shipping delays. Install was relatively painless... The painful part was grinding and filling spots on the subfloor. This was my first flooring job and my only experience was what I watched on Youtube. As the project was slowly coming together we were blown away with the look and feel of this flooring. Shortly after install, I thought I spotted a scratch on the flooring. Nope, thats just the color patter. The perfect imperfections of varying color and plank sizes really give our home the look we wanted. I overshot my material needs and took the remaining cases of flooring to my local HD for a full return with no restocking fees. I'm glad I found this option and I would highly recommend you consider it.

A little bit of a learning curve to establish the style/pattern of the plank types but after a couple rows, install went smoothly. Have had flooring installed in various areas of the house for 9 months now and the flooring looks great.

Very easy to install

Very nice. I like the random staggering of plank tones. The finished look rides the fence between light and dark and looks great in my dark painted room without making it even darker. Good choice, good buy - I'm very happy with it.

Easy to install and instant transformation of the room! Just be sure to open several packs and mix together so you aren’t left with the same planks at the end of your room. Holding up well with two golden retrievers and 6 people in the household.

I love how it looks

Floor turned out beautiful! Love the end result but was not as easy to snap together as it says but well worth the struggle!! Does not scratch easy! Cleans so easy with just water! I love this floor! Thanks Home Depo for your help and direction!!

This flooring is absolutely stunning! I may use it again when remodeling my kitchen next year! So many compliments!

We love the color transition, the look and the texture of it when we walk on it. We installed it in our kitchen floor and we get a lot of compliments. Our stairs is not done yet, Just too bad the stair nose is discontinued so not sure how we’re going to install the flooring on the stairs and how it will look if it’s not the same kind of design/material.

Hubby and I were flabbergasted!!! We did our Kitchen. Read directions completely. It works. Love the color, looks great.

We just had this installed in our entire house. We LOVE it. I cannot comment on how its held up becase they literally finisged the job this afternoon. I will report back. This is the Walton Oak.

Lifeproof Luxury Plank Flooring in Radiant Oak. First of all, it's gorgeous. The colors work nicely together, and it's not as dark as some of the photos show from other reviews, but I noticed my phone always takes a darker picture of it also. My kitchen has white cabinets and my walls are a light greige. I have 3 dogs, and one of them had issues with slipping and sliding across our previous hardwood floors, which made him super skittish. I tried everything from "sticky" balm to his paws, to silicone nail guards, you name it, none of it worked. Purchased a rambler so me and my old dogs could get around easier, and I was worried about installing hardwood again because of my one dog's slipping issues and skittishness. Hired an installer (he had two assistants) I found by word of mouth, who knocked out over a thousand square feet in less than 4 hours for about thirteen hundred dollars. He was amazing, and it was worth it, so if you can find an installer, I recommend it. If you can't and are handy (one section in the bathroom had to be redone because we moved the tub), it's not too difficult to do on your own with the right tools. Just take your time with it and watch a lot of the videos before installing. The floor rolls in certain areas and isn't very even (think low-to-medium priced tract home). I had the installer go ahead with the installation without evening out the areas (sanding) first. I can feel the uneven floors, but the vinyl plank flooring hides it as much as it can. Love the extra "cushion" that's built into it. It's totally waterproof, and most importantly, my dog does not slip and slide on the floors. I ordered samples before making the large purchase and looked for one that had grooves in it that I thought my dog would do better on. It worked! He's very careful walking across it, but so far he hasn't had any major slipping issues like he did on real hardwood. This floor is also very easy to clean. I just use a (soft-bristled) stick vacuum very gently to pick up any debris, which is mostly dog hair. Then I use a Bona microfiber spray mop/sweeper thing to get a deeper clean. I also use the Bona for quick sweeps and then I vacuum the dog hair off the microfiber pad. I don't use the straight up cleaner when I do want a deeper clean though and use the sprayer that's built in. I mix it with 2/3 water to one part cleaner because my dogs lick the floor around their dog bowls. I've been calling it a Teflon floor because it's like the dirt sits on top of it just waiting to be cleaned versus me having to do any hard scrubbing in order to get the dirt out. I really do love it, and I've lived in over 14 homes and flipped a lot of those with flooring ranging from ceramic tile, hardwood, laminate, to marble, you name it, and as far as the overall aesthetic, cost, cleanability, and durability, Home Depot's Lifeproof Luxury Plank Vinyl is my new favorite.

Great product, but definitely do NOT rely on Home Depot's software that allows you to view the product by taking a picture of the area where the product will be installed, as there is apparently a glitch in their software which does not show the correct product.

I am very happy with this product my floor looks beautiful in the kitchen. Blends well with my white cabinets. No regrets I recommend it for your kitchen if you plan to redo your floors. I shopped around for a good quality and compared it to other products and this was the best one.

Love my new floors!

Easy to install, did an entire bedroom in less than 2 hours by myself. Easy to score and snap using a utility knife.

Wasn’t sure what to think, but looks beautiful. Hope it lasts a very long time.

The floor was easy to install! The only critique I have is that it comes in a set of 3 different sized pieces- which wasn’t ideal for our bathroom project and we had to do a lot of cutting! We ended up having a few big pieces left over so I’m thinking of what we can use them for! Aside from that I love the color and the floor looks amazing!

Well... I posted the review on the wrong product.. the trim matched the floor well. The flooring wasn’t represented well by the display pieces. The actual product was a lot darker than the display. However, when laid out, It blends really nice from a light color to a really dark color. I’m happy with the product and wish I had done it sooner. Also helps to have a pro install it.

Floors are beautiful

Very attractive and interesting real wood look that would go with just about any color schemes--as it has nice shades of browns/greys. Was easy to install. We did a bedroom in our basement, and intend to do the remainder of the basement soon. Love that if ANYTHING happens, water-wise, that you can pop up, let everything dry, and reinstall. Game changer for a basement area. Very classy and easy to keep clean.

Flooring was fairly easy to install takes minimal effort compared to hardwood.

Flooring went over existing laminate floor. Seamless. So natural and pleasant to walk on. Received many compliments from neighbors. Several will be doing same project with same flooring.

I could not be any happier with this floor. It is exactly what i was hoping for. Definitly recommend opening and laying multiple boxes at a time to get the look. Can wait for the kitchen install this week! Floor looks amazing!
