They installed the floor and several of the pieces have peeled. This has also scratched a lot even though it’s supposed to be scratch resistant. It’s lifted a lot and it’s only installed 3 months ago.

We had this flooring installed throughout our new house 9 months ago. We were assured by the flooring associates and even our contractor that we were getting high quality durable “life proof” flooring. This is NOT the case. We are a normal household of 4, we do not wear shoes in the house and our furniture has scuff pads. After LESS THAN ONE YEAR the flooring throughout the house looks so beat up. I wanted to love this floor. I was told with its scratch resist coatings that kids dropping silverware wouldn’t faze it. We haven’t even done that to it. There are HUGE scratches and dents throughout the house. My sons hot wheels cars left marks for heaven sake! We are currently filing a warranty claim to see if there is anything that can be done but I highly suggest you don’t waste thousands of dollars fitting your home with this stuff!

We wanted to provide direct feedback on the flooring product purchased from Home Depot in Windham ME and installed through our local HD's installation services. The product and final installation job exceeds our expectations! The Lifeproof vinyl plank flooring was installed in a lower level family room. The flooring is beautiful and quite natural looking! Best of all it is so easy to maintain with heavy foot traffic and muddy pets entering the lower level from outside. The white oak wooden stair retreads are a perfect match for our color selection of Lifeproof Essential Oak! The stairs are solid, top quality, and really set off the flooring. The HD installers were all very professional, friendly, and efficient; we highly recommend both the flooring and the carpenter teams who worked our job! I love these solid core planks. Even if water were to get in between the joints it wouldn't rot them out or damage them like the non solid core designs.

Our floor installer said it was really good high quality flooring. It really looks good!!

The floor looks great but is definitely darker then it looks here on the ad! Also it is not shiney at all, just so people know! But overall looks good, just hope its water proof like it says

I'm really glad we went with the Shadow Hickory LVP. I was looking at slightly less expensive flooring but choose this for the higher quality and attached underlayment. We haven't had any issues with scratching and we have two young children and a small dog. The floor has a nice texture to it. I find it easy to clean with a Swiffer. We installed this on top of concrete. The flooring clicks and locks easily. Very tight seams. I was a little afraid the flooring would be lighter than we wanted. While looking at it in Home Depot under their bright lights it comes off light. Once in our home under soft white lighting, it has a nice darker color more like the photo online.

We have had this product almost a year and could not be happier! It was installed on the entire main level of our home. Now we are planning to install it upstairs as well definitely easier to maintain vs carpet as well as a fresher cleaner appearance.

Very good product with a locking mechanism that's stronger than the competition.

Beautiful flooring we almost bought until reading the Q&As on here and carrying a sample in my purse just today and you can see 2 big scratches. Probably from my car keys. We almost bought this for our entire house. Thankfully we saw that this is not a good flooring.

The carpet in our house was not in good shape. We called the "pros" to replaced it with laminate floor, one price was $11,500 the other price was $12,600 Dollars. Ouch! I am kind of DIY guy, so my wife and I decided to save some money and install the floor ourselves. We started with Pergo, that did not go well, not that easy to install. We wasted $200.00, and back to square one. So we went to HD, saw this Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring, more expensive than Pergo, but it does not need underlayment, so we decided to try once again, bingo! It works. Way much easier to install than Pergo. It's flexible, easier to cut, etc. We started in a bedroom, and the result motivated us to continued. At this point, we are almost done with the whole house. We installed it in two bathroom plus the laundry room, two bedrooms, and family room, we got left the master. There was tile floor in the bathrooms and the laundry room, we just removed it all. I did a test on this Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring: a put a peace of it in a bucket full of water for about three days, after three days I saw no change at all, I thought: this thing is 100% water proof. You will need some tools, specially a jigsaw, etc. You will need some help, too. I bought a compressor, brad nail gun, a miter saw, and shop vac. Removing the carpet is easy, but removing the pad is a pain you know where, the glue they used to keep the pad attached to the floor is kind of hard to clean it. You need to try to do a better job with the baseboards. The floor will not look good is the baseboards are not installed properly(on top of the floor). We did not use caulking on the bathroom, and laundry room, we use 100% silicone, these areas are prone to have water leak.

Easy to install. Looks great in kitchen. Cleaning is a breeze. Just don't use a steam mop, not recommended.

We recently renovated our entire home and installed about 2000 sq ft of this product in Easential Oak throughout the house. Even the bathrooms. We installed the floors ourselves and found the installation to be very straight forward. We used the scoring method for straight cuts with no issues, but we did use a table saw for more complicated cuts. If you’ve installed any kind of floating floor before, youll have no problem installing this. We also havent had any issues with scratching as some other reviews mentioned, and we did move in all our furniture and appliances after we installed this floor. However, we made sure not to drag anything heavy or sharp across the floor during the moving process. The Essential Oak color is great - very neutral and classic. I deducted a star because the planks only came in five patterns. While we were very careful to randomly vary the patterns throughout the install for a natural look, over a large room the limited number of patterns became pretty obvious, which made the floors look like obviously fake hardwood. However, the addition of area rugs and furniture did help to negate that issue. Overall we’ve been happy with this product.

Just brought a box of this home and color wise, it doesn’t look at all like what is shown. Makes sure the color is what you want. It wasn’t what i was looking for at all.

We are somewhat inexperienced with flooring but this went in like a dream. Flows well and as long as you get the corner seated in correctly, you'll have no problems. Very little waste. This was purchased to replace carpet so grandmother could better use wheelchair seems to be durable so far. Like product so much have decided to use it in my own home where had initially planned to tile.

Over installation was pretty quick. The product gets marks on it easily. So put a rug down under kitchen chairs and tables as to not get it dinged up. Other than that's it ok.

I just bought a condo and was looking for an affordable option that was durable and waterproof. I ended up going with the Lifeproof Shadow Hickory and am very happy i did. It is very easy to clean and looks great. I would definetly recommend to anyone who will listen!

The Lifeproof vinyl plank flooring looks great when installed. If done correctly, the seams are tight and look better than many laminate floors I have seen. I found this type of flooring to be more scratch resistant than wood floors, including hardness rated bamboo. The attached padding saves time and my only caution would be to level your sub-floor if possible, as uneven floors may cause the seams to open. You also want to be certain all existing nail heads and screw heads are driven down flush with wooden sub-floors so that the new flooring sits correctly on the sub-floor (not raised or uneven). A great product and will install more in other rooms, soon.

Easy install great look and feel. Just scour with a razor blade and snap a clean cut.

It was referred by a friend. He told me how easy it was to install. It looks and feels great. With the underlayment already attached there were no more expenses and because it so easy to install u save money on the installation costs..

This was my third floor I installed using the LifeProof Seaside Oak. It went in easy I did use a table saw to cut it long ways and scored it to snap it in half. The job came out beautiful.

I very much liked the feel, quality, material, and installation of this product. The project went very smoothly for me.

I am an avid DIYer and have installed many floors in different houses. This is by far the worst product i have ever used. Before I could even finish the installation throughout my house, there were already scratches. I had set a dining room chair on the finished floor without really thinking much about it. Nobody sat on the chair and when I picked it up there were scratches from the legs of the chair. I felt the bottom of the chair for any sharp objects that could have scratched it but they were smooth. This was a waste of a week of my time and the money for the product. Choose anything else but lifeproof

Put this in our kitchen and dining room. The flooring was easy to install. We cut cleanly with a chop saw. Everyone likes the color and texture. Will definitely buy more for other rooms.
