The manufacturer has an example book of what the outcome will be when complete. I didn’t find it to be accurate. The metallic paint is awesome, however the roller that is suggested to be used to render the results in my opinion doesn’t show the same results as what the example shows.

As a roller, this product is trash. I did not get the result I was looking for. So I improvised. Thankfully I bought 2 rollers. I smashed the plastic core by stepping on it. Then I was able to separate the plastic from the sponge. I was able to dab my paint to get the sponge effect that I was unable to get from using it as a roller. I only bought the roller because I was unable to find it purely in sponge form in my area. As a roller, zero stars. As a deconstructed sponge, good job.

i used the ppg Metallic paint this is just one coat with the sponge and flash on so you can see this is 30 min after applying

As Good as Ralph Lauren but $4 less.

I used this product to apply Ralph Lauren metallic paint. After watching some RL videos on how to apply the paint, it recommended a sponge roller and luckily my local HD had one in stock for $9. The directions for the RL paint was to apply a first coat with a 3/8 roller and then apply a second coat with a sponge roller. This worked great. Be warned, this thing will throw paint everywhere, so have stuff covered. As an added bonus, this came with a small piece of sponge (was hidden inside the roller) to use when cutting the edges. Saved me $10 from having to buy small sponge pieces from the store.

It was easy to use. Gave me the design I wanted.

Did a good work for applying patio sealer. Good for making sure all areas with raised and flat were covered.

I did not like the sponge roller. It did not create much of a design and then it started flaking into the paint

Only sponge roller available. Leaves a distinct pattern that was difficult to hide. But it served its purpose and the customer was happy
