Lights seem adequate. I bought 9 and 2 had dented frames and 2 broken diffuser’s. Cant get customer support to replace them. Very frustrating and not worth the hassle. I’ll be getting future lights elsewhere.

Picked the light up to swap out with a unit for a client. Got on site and wired it up and wasn't getting power through the ballast. Checked wiring intensively and progressed to chasing other ghosts. When unwiring, the blast was sounding if it was shorting out and the light started flickering. popped the ballast out to find the input had a broken solder point. Hopefully the second one will work but what a waste of billable time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved this really nice white 2x4 led ceiling light in the mail and is perfect for what we have use for it for. We are adding a shed to property and this 2x4 led light will fit perfectly. I temporarily hooked it up and it is nice and bright with its 4000 lumens which is 29wAtts. It has drop open door which makes it easy to access the light if needed. It is very light so no stress on ceiling joists.and is very easy to install. Thank you Lithonia Lighting for a good product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a super bright light which literally will replace the need for 4 fluorescent bulbs with only 2 leds. I will be using this to illuminate my work shed to replace temporary hanging work lights. At only 2x4 this will illuminate a 6 x 9 work shed giving me a lot more space to hang tools.

They are definitely brighter than I expected. Almost like daylight! They start quickly and are very quiet. A much needed upgrade from our old one. Very impressed.

The garage light we have isn't very bright and we often find ourselves opening the garage to let in needed light to finish a diy project we are currently working on .After arrival of this Prismatic Lens Lay in Led Troffer i wanted it installed as soon as possible .I wasn't aware at first it was a lay in design. However that wasn't gonna stop us from trying to install it in our garage .We had to make a few minor adjustments beings it wouldn't be able to be installed the way it was actually meant to be . However that only took a few minutes and a few extra screws and the Led light was up and running .I love how much light it gives off in my garage and not needing to open the garage door everytime we do a project is a plus in my book . The leds are nice and bright and i need no other light to see .

The gloss white frame and prismatic lens make this light look rich and beautiful. I like the LED lights because they are very bright where we need light in our basement. My husband loves it because it helps him see clearly when he works on constructing his fishing lures. The prismatic lense disperses the light brightly and evenly. The LED lights are long lasting and energy efficient saving us money. I would recommend buying this LED Troffer to anyone looking to upgrade to brighter quality lighting.

Has a very nice sleek look and works well newly finished garage. Best part is that it's energy efficient! I would like to get another one for our basements kitchenette area once we redo it. I would definitely recommend the Prismatic Lens Lay- In LED Troffer to anyone looking for a new lighting.

This product was great. It fit same spot as my florescent fixture. Very easy to install if you have basic wiring knowledge. I love the bright light it gives.

Easy to install and look great. Such an improvement over the fluorescent lighting. Only wish they were dimmable.

Recommendation is tough to answer because as listed below in Con's. This needs a maybe answer. Quality seems good and with value only time wil tell Specifications:  3000 lumens, 32 watts, 4000k color temperature (cool white) good color with decent non glaring light. Light is adequate for my small kitchen area (11 X 14). Instant on and no flicker. Pro's. Easy installation into the suspended ceiling. I had 5 inches of clearance above the track more than sufficient for easy insertion. Wire access to the interior is through a well designed access cover plate or numerous knockouts in the case. Electrical connections are simple to make using the push-in wire connector installed. Con's. The Instruction sheet has ample information on installation but an abundance of cautions about ways to damage your light when installing. With all the issues mentioned it seems like any problems encountered are your fault. My take is if you purchase this do not have a problem. There is a 5 year limited warranty but nothing about how how to register for it. Be sure to save your receipt as without it there is no coverage at all. Professional installers I caution, DIYers may want to look elsewhere.

This review is for the 3000 lumen 2x2 LED Troffer with smooth lens. This fixture is similar to the 2500 lumen fixture with a prismatic lens but we prefer this one as it's brighter and the smooth lens appears cleaner and still disperses the light adequately. The unit is dimmable only with a separate 0-10V signal wire so if you plan on dimming it without adding that circuit, you'll be disappointed as it cannot be dimmed over the power wires. This is standard for commercial fixtures. The product replaced a 2x2 fluorescent dual u-tube fixture which before and after photos are attached. The LED appeared brighter and cleaner than the previous fixture. The drawbacks we found were the hold down clips. They are NOT movable but part of the metal case and if your orientation if fixed based on the power location from the previous fixture, the tie downs may not be on the strongest ceiling grid members. The lens also is VERY thin and fragile, these two negatives prevent this from being a five star product. Because the lens is so fragile, ordering this unit for delivery to home is not recommended if you can pick up in store, the chances of not getting a broken lens are better and may save you the grief of having to return it due to a broken lens.

I purchsed one 2 ft. x 4 ft. White Lithonia Lighting LED Lay-In Troffer with Prismatic Lens in stead of replacing the bulbs in two old fluorescent suspended ceiling fixtures I had. This one LED fixture produces more light then two four bulb fluorescents did, and never needs any bulbs replaced. I just hope it continues to work as well as it has so far. I highly recommend this product and if you are currently using fluorescents, be prepared to need about half the fixtures you are currently using.

I got this light to increase and improve the lighting in my shop. PACKAGING: The box for the light was packed in a larger cardboard box for shipping. Several layers of bubble wrap were placed on both the top and bottom of the flat box to protect it but none was placed on the ends or sides. There was no visible damage to the outer or inner boxes but upon opening the inner box the latch side of the bottom of the light had been bent inward. The light was still usable but would not be acceptable in an installation where appearance is an issue. CONSTRUCTION: The light seemed to be a little lighter in construction than my previous troffer lights, but they were old style fluorescents and were probably over-engineered. The construction was certainly sufficient for the light weight LED assemblies. The LED assemblies were not bulbs in holders but were two strips directly attached to the top of the inside of the light. I don't feel this is an issue considering the 50,000 hour rated life of the bulb and it certainly makes the light much simpler and lighter. The internal wiring was connected using spring loaded push connectors with individual wire release latches (VERY COOL!) The power leads included a disconnect connector that was also a push-in which made hooking leads up very nice. It may be a wiring code issue, but the ground wire was a bare pigtail. It would have been even nicer if it had been part of the power connector so the entire light could be disconnected with just one action. INSTALLATION: Although I do not have a suspended ceiling in the shop the light was still easy to install. - I determined the location for the light, put 4 drywall screws into the side of the ceiling rafters and attached suspension wires to each screw. - I killed the breakers to the circuit and confirmed power was off at the breakout box. - I disconnected the power connector and stripped and inserted the power wires. - I removed the light diffuser assembly and the inner wiring cover. - I attached the fixture ground to a push connector and installed a ground wire. - I added push connectors to the lighting circuit breakout box in the ceiling and attached the power side of the power wires and the ground wire. - I connected the ground wire and the power connector to the light fixture. - I turned the breaker and the light switch back on to confirm operation. - I turned the light switch off, lifted the light into final position and attached the mounting wires. - I reinstalled the diffuser assembly and did a final operational test. OBSERVATIONS: The light looks good with the exception of the bent frame and produces a good white light. The prismatic diffuser works but has noticeable bright areas directly under the LED strips. A frosted diffuser might be better visually. The fluorescent fixture next to the troffer doesn't have the high contrast appearance but is also a 4 bulb light. I took a picture of each light separately to compare brightness. With all other setting the same the LED fixture exposed at 1/592 of a second with a brightness value of 7.4. The 4 bulb fluorescent fixture exposed at 1/336 of a second with a brightness value of 6.6. In plane english I believe this means the LED fixture was brighter. RECOMMENDATION: Initial response: a good addition/improvement to my shop lighting. This light is more expensive that just buying a two strip LED shop light but compares well in price to other troffer lights. If I had a suspended ceiling in my shop I think this would be my preferred lighting solution.

This Lithonia 2 FT. X 4 FT. WHITE LED LAY-IN TROFFER WITH PRISMATIC LENS is in working order, I wasn't so sure when I saw the package on my front porch. The packing box was all crumpled. Fortunately the fixture was inside another box, surrounded by bubble wrap. Even though double packed the fixture was damaged, 2 corners were bent, the lens was cracked and a small piece was broken off, not enough to hurt the lens visibility. The center ballast and wiring compartment cover was off sliding around inside the fixture, I was afraid it may have damage some of the LED'S? Again it survived. The lens closing latches were poorly prepared for painting, as the paint on them was bubbled and missing.When I tested it it worked. I was able to re-install the lens and cover, once I straighten the corners it will fit in my ceiling grid.The fixture itself is good, too bad more care wasn't taken for shipping. It is an easy installation and will light my family room nicely.

I had the light installed in my 9 x 12 sewing room after having a click-lock engineered flooring installed and it looks awesome. I highly recommend this product.
