Really easy! I have two small kids and needed to just get it done and it was super easy! Applied it during nap time and finished before they woke up. Make sure that when you apply it your going the correct way. Meaning it’s applying AND cleaning the sides.

I ended up with decent results because I wouldn't give up, however I wish I had just used my caulking gun and a tub of silicone, which would have been easier in the end.

It covered the grout line around the top of the tub and below first row of tile. It has been nearly 2 weeks now and it is still white. I wish they would make it more closer to the grout color. The white stands out but still is better looking than the black mold.

I wanted to fill in a couple cracks in the caulking in the shower of my travel trailer. This product sounded like an easy fix, as opposed to buying a huge tube of caulk to slap in my caulking gun. Bad move. I should have opted for the tube of 'tub and tile' caulk. I watched the videos showing how positively simple this was going to be. As almost everyone else relates, the tube is very stiff and hard to squeeze. The product quickly quits coming out of the opening because you can't squeeze it down. I ended up several times holding it by the end opposite the tip and swinging it to encourage the caulk to go towards the application tip. Even then it quickly stops coming out. I finally squeezed globs of the stuff near the target area and using my wet finger to 'smoothe' it out. To say it looks like an amateur did it is putting it mildly, but then, I AM an amateur so I guess I can't blame it all on the goop. But even being an amateur, I've had better luck with a caulking gun. You can see by my pics that I'm definitely not a pro, but as I mentioned, I've caulked windows and doors using the good old caulking gun and did all right. Not so much here. I gave it two stars because you just might have better luck than I. The space was cramped and I'm a 200 pounder trying to get down near the bottom of the shower.

This looks like a great idea, which is why I bought it. The applicator tip is too big and leaves a big bead. In addition, the tip and guide fins drag and cause the bead to skip and the tip sometimes comes off. I ended up cutting the guide wings off, applying the caulk and smoothing with my finger. Just buy a regular tube of caulk and do it old school. Trust me, this doesn’t work well at all.

I bought this product as a bit of a lazy impulse buy - had some old bathtub caulking that could be renewed and thought for the price would give it a try. Congrats re-new: i've never given a product 1 star. For starters, the caulk comes out of the dispenser very unevenly (think condiment 'plopping out') despite constant pressure and tapping the product to the bottom - not a nice even 'swipe' like shown in the videos. Second, the applicator popped off of the container mid-stream, dumping significant amount of product out. You don't have that much to work with in the first place - maybe just enough for a couple lines on a tub). I also did not find the applicator to provide great results- lots leaking out the sides of the corners. Now I have a mess to clean and then headed back to the store to pick up a tube of 'real' bathroom caulk to fix the job. Very dissatisfied

It works good in my shower it was a litter hard to come out other that it was good.

I would only use this product for very small projects. The tube is not very big and is ideal for small areas such as bathroom sinks. Pros: Removal of old caulking is not necessary. Cons: If you have trouble with your hands such as Arthritis, it will be hard to apply it as recommend. Overall the product did what I neededi to do for the sink.

This product has the potential to become the best invention since sliced toast. It has a few bugs right now, though. First, after trying this for several inches, pressure built up in the dispenser and popped the top off, along with depositing a huge glob of caulk on the countertop I was applying it to. I cleaned up the mess and tried again, using less pressure this time; it popped off again. So, I swore a little and decided to use packing tape to keep the top in place. This worked, but while I would be going along great, using care and going slowly, the dispenser would run out of air and either pop a glob or just stop dispensing and I would have to start over. I ended up cleaning up just as big of a mess as I would have had to clean up using traditional caulk. I also ended up with caulk all over my sweater because it has a consistency that is more like Elmer’s glue. I hope they can work out the bugs, because the concept is terrific.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product in our bathroom tub. Although we have cleaned it several times, the old caulking is just gross. This was such an easy solution to help make it look clean and new. I really like the design of the bottle. The tip has flaps on each side which help make the application smooth and consistent. It basically does the cleanup as you go along. I had to apply a bit more pressure than expected to get enough out. I had to go back over it a few times to get a solid line. It is very quick and easy to use. I like that you can just go right over the old caulking. I didn't even need my husband for this one! It's much easier than removing old caulking and reapplying using the huge caulk gun. The pictures are from the tub with one application. I did it fairly quick just to see how it would work. The tube is a good size but wouldn't last for larger projects. This is good for small bathroom or kitchen products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been putting this DIY home repair off for a while. I didn't want to deal with a caulking gun and this tight space. Every time I went into our bathroom this grout issue was staring me right in the face! It's right below the faucet and it was going to be a real pain to get around to get the job done. THEN this miracle of miracles came to me! Loctite has seriously changed the game with this new compact sealant. My repair literally took longer to clean the surface than the entire job's completion. Hands down you can't go wrong. I think every home owner should have this in their repair kit at home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Loctite Re-New to try out and review. I love that you can put it right over the old stuff. The coverage was really great too! It was kind of had to used with our wall being textured but still worked really well. It puts out a pretty thick line of culk. I didn't like how much it put for the place I was using it. So I just wiped the access with my finger. Would probably be perfect for around a bathtub. Overall it's a good product that's easy to use. I will use it again and would recommend!

It goes on so easily - look closely at the top of the tube - it is shaped at an angle - so that when you apply the sealant - it automatically lays it down perfectly. You may not think you can do it - but you can. I have a bathroom that is in the garage and I have been trying - forever - to fix/clean some of the caulking. Nothing worked. This allows you to use it right on top and it kills any mildew and then looks so fresh and clean. I am attaching a picture of when I started the job so you could see the difference. I have tried everything and this stuff is wonderful. Takes mere minutes to apply and dries quickly. I am not in the process of redoing the whole room. Highly recommend.

This sealant is very easy to use especially if you are a DIYer. It is self explanatory as you use the tips and tricks note added on the package. No need to scrape out the old sealant, just putting it over the old one works. Love that it is mold resistant off which there is little or no option like this in the market. It is great to have and use in your home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We just remodeled our bathroom and the caulk around the tub started turning colors, like a brow/pink almost. So we changed the caulk, but turns out it kept happening and we figured it was because of how it was installed. After applying the white renew, it worked like magic! White again, and looking new. It’s very easy to apply. First you’ll want to clean the surface you’ll be working on, and make sure that it’s completely dry before you apply the sealant. Instructions say you should wait 6 hours prior to water contact. I waited 12 just to be safe. I cleaned it the night before and allow the area to dry all night. So far it’s not changed colors and I have faith so far that it won’t. Because the products we used before would immediately change colors. But basically all I did was apply this over the caulk and it looks new again.

It has a very smooth and professional looking application. I did find that if you do not clean the tip often enough, you will end up with some smearing. My only complaint is that I had some difficulty squeezing the tube once it was about half empty . It's a somewhat rigid tube and I had to squeeze fairly hard to get the product to dispense.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loctite Renew Sealent was very easy to use. This works reasonably well assuming the existing caulking is sound and only discolored. The caulk in my bathtub had some mild discoloration.I found the product considerably thinner than caulking and a bit difficult to apply only the right amount. The built in applicator would leave more than I needed so I would need to smooth the sealant with my finger and remove the excess. The sealant did cover discolored caulking which you can see by the before and after pictures attached. The only thing I would improve is the applicator so the amount of product can be more controlled.

If you apply normal pressure the lid will stay on and no mess, if you press down really hard which is is not needed in any way the top will pop off. There may have been a little product left in the tube but by shaking it and forcing to one end most the product was used. At the end I could not have done a more straight and clean line of caulk without this tool. I really love it and recomend it.

It has been about a week and no leaks still. I would say this product is a must for any tool box or handy man. It is so easy to apply and compact to store in a cabinet for easy access to use.

It comes with a shield to help ensure you get a smooth application. It didn't quite work for me. I was forced to touch up with my finger and a paper towel, but I didn't mind.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have existing caulk has turned ugly and moldy, this is a quick and easy product to restore a "new" look. The applicator tip is angled and the product squeezes and flows easily. From what I can tell, this is basically ordinary caulk in an easier-to-apply container. You still need to smooth the bead with a finger, but there is no hassle of caulk guns, cutting tips to the correct angle, etc. For a quick fix to discolored bathroom caulk, I recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loctite RE-NEW Sealant definitely seals up tight! I used it around my kid's tub which was rotting due to their splashing. It helped to seal my floor from any more damage and I used it around their toilet for the same reason since it's next to the tub. Unfortunately, it isn't nearly as easy to use as I'd hoped. It came out thicker than I anticipated at first and I managed to make a gloppy mess before I got the hang of it. I would use it in a hidden spot first if possible until you get the feel of the flow and how to smooth it out neatly.
