Well, I wish I could return it and get my money back. I don't know if I misread the advertising or if I have a different definition of "smart plug". This item will allow you to turn it off and turn it on but it won't allow you to setup a schedule so that it turns on and off at certain times nor can you adjust the light intensity. I do have 11 other Caseta plugs in my house and I love them but this one doesn't cut the mustard to me.

Has gone through a couple of thunderstorms, a boatload of pollen, and has been hosed down. Has kept the automation going as designed & responds to the app and commands instantly

A little expensive but works great!

I had bought this device because other (non-Lutron) outdoor smart plugs would occasionally lose the wifi connection and require a reboot. As with all my Lutron products, this device is rock solid and never loses its connection to HomeKit or the Lutron hub. It’s not the cheapest, but it’s the most reliable.

Love it! This made the dockside string lights turn on and off without having to plug and unplug them.

The box clearly says that it works with SmartThings. Well after hours of trying to make it work with SmartThings I called Lutron for support. They informed me that compatibility is not live yet but should be in about a month.

All the Lutron Caseta products work great!!

Like the reliability, build and ease to install. In service for 3 months with no issues. For the price, it should have 2 configurable plugs rather than a single one. This is what keeps it from 5 star rating. Lutron’s smart mobile app is a 5 star app

Great piece of hardware easy to set up... !!

I have over 90 Lutron devices in my home, and the outdoor outlet allowed me to finalize all my lighting in and outside of my home. Their products are far superior to other home automation devices. Because they work off a hub they are more reliable than other wifi devices. When I had a mix of devices my wifi internet connections would fail all too often and jam the system. Since I now have all Lutron devices the problem has all but disappeared. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Works flawlessly and was delivered sooner than I expected

Lutron is the absolute best you can get for wireless switch control. These allowed me to add my outdoor lights to the same inside control system (Lutron Caseta) I've had in place for awhile now. Control with a manual switch on the wall, control with my smartphone, control by voice, rock solid reliability. Way better than any Wifi controlled switches.

Easy to add to existing Caseta system. Works great for our landscape lights.

Seamless integration with HomeKit. Very good range. Just what I expected and what I was waiting for since Lutron announced this product.

Lutron outdoor plug is the best on the market. App is excellent! The plug is well built for weather. Works great with Alexa I will be using the plugs also for my 10000 chritmas lights. No more cumbersome timers

Works great but it doesn’t support DIMMING!! Why would they make this without dimming capability.
