Dimmers work as advertised and like other Lutrons I own of this same type, I do like the push-button ON/OFF feature which does not affect the setting. The only reason I gave it a "good" rather than "excellent" rating is that I had a failure of a previous dimmer of this same type for no apparent reason. I primarily use these dimmers to control the temperature settings on heat mats used for vegetable seed germination, and I am planning to use one of these to control speed of a Pea Sheller I am building. Very good price and delivery on my order with direct mailing from Lutron!

My children cannot sleep without the lights on! This was so helpful in getting them to bed because it’s dim enough for them to relax their eyes but also gives them comfort at night. The dimmer is great.

Does what I expected it to do! Not hard to install at all-- we'll see how long it lasts. Decent value for the price.

Cheaply made. Does not dim all the way to off. but to late to return . already installed.

Exact fit of an older module from 28 years plus, made it easy to install. My first time replacing one. I used a short video tutorial as a guide. The hard part was having to locate main switch on electric grid to cut off power supply for area of installation.

Used this Lutron dimmer to reduce the electricity sent to an electrical outlet so my good soldering-iron’s temperature would be adjustable. Needed an incandescent dimmer; works wonderfully! :D

The switch is great quality. But it didn't work for my needs, through NO ONE'S fault but my own. I need a "lower profile" switch. This one was too thick due to my own failure to measure.

After receiving this "Rotary" dimmer, I found that you have to push in on the knob to turn on the lights. I wanted one that is truly rotary, so you can easily turn on the lights with your arm if your hands are full. I actually found the one I wanted at the Home Depot store. It’s made by Leviton.

Have to tap it "Twice" to turn on lights?? Dimmer function works fine.
