Cross bore for the dead bolt was 1/4” too low resulting in added time and headache during installation. I would have preferred the hinges be mortised into the door instead of only the mortising the jamb. I needed to modify or replace the original casing when installing this door as a replacement. Adding even more time to the installation.

Hate giving bad reviews but this is totally necessary for such a high price item. I only purchased for the modern look and regret buying from MMI. My $400 jeld wen door is honestly higher quality. There are several manufacturing defects and it was put together incorrectly from the factory. See photos for issues. You can also see sunlight through the seals so there's obviously a draft from the door. I tried multiple times to contact MMI and they've ghosted me. Will never purchase MMI again.

The door has a nice coat of paint applied to it. The windows are frosted and look perfect from the inside but gives the impression that you could still see through from the outside. The door really changes the whole look of the front of the house. The door arrived and a very well packaged container. There were no cracks or damage visible while installing the door.

I had the door installed by my contractor a couple of months after receiving it. Once installed, I noticed several defects that I would not have expected based on the cost for this door. The edging was loose so had to be glued. There were bumps under the paint indicating the painting environment wasn't clean. The framing around the windows was scratched in a few places. And the final, major issue is the top window is crooked. Some issues can be addressed but not much can be done with a crooked window. This would have been a great door if it didn't have these defects and now that it's installed, the crooked window will bug me for years to come.

Ordered through Home Depot website and had Home Dept Professionally install. The install went 100%. HOWEVER, there was small issues with the paint on this door which we accepted since they were small ( paint chips mainly) and that Home Depot said they would contact the manufacturer and get some of the paint so we can fix the chips as well as a small refund on purchase.... here we are 3 weeks later with no resolution.

My master Carpenter husband was very pleased with the quality of the door, and he is VERY picky. The door is beautiful. It did have one scratch when it arrived but the door came with touchup paint that matched perfectly.

I like the door but was very surprised it came with a 4-9/16" frame, which is the width used for non-support walls. I didn't see any place when ordering to specify a 6-9/16" frame, which is typical for exterior walls in our area. My framers had to do a workaround on the narrow frame to get it to fit.

For the price it should be flawless - but the little screw covers over the frames are a bit wonky. Overall it seems like a very high quality door and the entire frame is composite so hopefully it won't rot like the one it replaced. The frosted glass is very private yet still allows in light.

The door arrived ahead of schedule which was great, and the door itself seems to be good quality, but the door frame is not. The door frame is MDF and is more susceptible to moisture damage, especially at the threshold and not what i would expect from a nearly $2k door. To make it worse most of the staples used to connect the frame to the threshold missed the mark and the door frame started to come apart before installing it. Furthermore, the hinges bound up (one even bent) and stripped out of the frame (not surprisingly since its mdf). I would not recommend this door simply because the frame is garbage, not even worthy of a cheap interior door 1/10th the price

These are very solid doors. Our installer was impressed with this product. We ordered three of these for our project. One note the door handle latch was set back about 1/4" from original door so we had to add an extender. One of the doors actually came with some touchup paint, which was good, they did get marks during install.

The door was very poorly made. Nail heads are sticking out past flush on almost every piece of trim. A number of poor paint errors, runs, drips, misses, etc.

Great looking door, just super expensive.

There are a few scuffs but otherwise, beautiful
