Nice looking hand held shower head, looks great, easy to install, not sure it will hold up like previous Moen products due to the amount of plastic used. Plastic hand held piece that attaches to shower arm is not going to hold up and down the line will be an issue. Moen knows this, why not make it sturdy?

Who is the moron who allowed this design? He should be more than fired... he should be sued along with Moen. It's all about the money and no longer about the quality product Moen used to make. I am in pain from this falling on my foot in the shower, it also damaged my bathtub. If you want to avoid the same issues I had with this piece of crap. AVOID MOEN they don't deserve our business anymore. Why would I use the lifetime warranty on this crap? So I can experience this again...

This product is defective and extremely dangerous! Purchased in store on October 2023 and failed in March 2024. We should have read the reviews first! While taking a shower, the shower head spontaneously flew off and hit me on my back. Thank goodness I had my back to it and was not facing towards it. We attempted to return it since we still had the receipt, but unfortunately it was passed the return date and we were told by an associate that we would have to contact Moen.

I've had this shower head for a little over a year. The other day water started shooting out from behind where the shower head attaches to the pipe that comes out of the shower wall. I took it off because I assumed that the rubber O ring inside may need to be replaced, only to find that the plastic coupling that attaches the shower head to the pipe had split. Come on Moen, you can do better than plastic for the price you charge.

We bought this in 8/22 as part of full bathroom remodel. It failed in six months when my son was taking a shower, of note, we rarely remove it. The base cracked and failed while the shower was running, causing the shower head to be propelled out of the holder with incredible force. My son is about 5'11, and had he not leaned down at that moment to grab soap, it would have hit him in the head. This is a flawed and dangerous product. Moen - do better. This product should be recalled immediately.

Installed this shower head less than 6 months ago and the base just sheered off clean for no reason. I barely ever remove the shower head from the base but I did recently and it just separated just above where it screws onto the hose. It appears to be some sort of cheap plastic probably made you know where.

Easy to assemble. In my case, it was hard to tighten the fitting at the shower arm as it interfered with the shower wall. The spray pattern is nice. I don't mind the low pressure. The worst part is the hose! It's stiff and won't straighten no matter how much hot water runs through it. I added a suction cup holder for the wall (personal preference). I will be moving this to a different bathroom and looking for something better.

There's a crack in the fitting on the hose. Hose is very stiff which no dout accounts for the crack in fitting.

The head is really nice, but the cradle/bracket.is made of plastic and broke in three years.

The piece that connects to the shower arm is plastic. It cross threaded and now the entire thing is trash because you can't order that replacement part.

Very nice primary shower head for our Jacuzzi shower. Great water flow considering the 1/2” hose attachment.

We’ve had this shower head for no longer than 3 months and this evening the plastic part that screws onto the handle broke. Water went all over the ceiling and bathroom. It was a bad purchase from the start because it had very low water pressure.

The hose is still stiff and still smells of plastic. The quality is less than it should be in my opinion for a product with the Moen name. I will reach out to Moen and see what they offer. In the meantime, I was disappointed with the flow rate. I took the head off of the hose and found a small O ring . Removing that O ring increases the flow rate and gives a much more pleasurable shower.

As others have commented, the hose is as cheap as it gets. It looks so plasticky that it has me regretting my purchase. It won't straighten out and is just a sign of how Moen has fallen off the map and is putting out crappy products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the Moen HydroEnergetix HH Shower to replace my older handheld shower fixture. I really love the look of this showerhead with the brushed finish. Installation is fairly easy, however, I had trouble with leaking at all the connection points. I've installed similar showerheads before & never had this problem. The instructions didn't say to use Teflon tape but I'm going to get some & see if using that helps the leaking/dripping issue. There are also frosted plastic covers on each end of the flexible hose. The instructions didn't say to take them off but when they were left on both of those connections leaked really bad. Once I took those off, while it still did leak, it wasn't as bad. The functions of the showerhead include several different settings, which I really like but the pressure with this showerhead is not strong at all. It says it has 40% more force but I'm not seeing/feeling it on most of these settings. The only settings that have any kind of real pressure are the ones where only about 4-6 of the jets are used. If you use the settings that offer the 40% more coverage, there is hardly any pressure. I also noticed that there is no rubber grip on the handle so when you want to use the showerhead in the handheld mode, with wet or soapy hands, it's slippery & hard to hold onto. While I love the look of this model, I definitely think there are things that could be improved.

Affordable shower head with various options. Easy to install and use. Only setbacks are the size and that the weight seems to drag the head down if put a higher position.

If I could give 10 stars I would! after buying a Waterpik handheld two weeks ago and the water pressure was absolutely horrible (even with the regulator removed) and I don't even have low water pressure. In fact I'd been using some 99 cent thing that had better pressure. So I took it back and did some research for something more qualified. I was iffy because it only had 11 reviews but today I bought it and YES straight out of the packaging it was great. Super easy to install by hand. No leaks. The tubing feels nice and hangs like it should. Two of the settings seem similar but still great water pressure. Then I thought what IF I remove the regulator? Well that jumped this thing up to fantastic!! Ten stars easy!

This is an awesome showerhead. I love the look and it functions even better. The color matches my other nickle finishes very well. The showerhead allows for great pressure and no problems with leaks after several long showers. I've had several similar showerheads over the years and this one is the best in overall quality. You can tell it was well made right out of the box. I highly recommend as a replacement or new application.

Installation was a breeze. Simply take the old one out and screw the new one in. Maybe twenty minutes max to change out. No plumbers tape or anything like that required. Water flow is good and with the 8 different select-able spray options, you are bound to find one you like. I have had this for a couple weeks now and showers are so much better now!

This is made by Moen. I opened the package and everything essentially is made of plastic, except the for the hose, even the threaded components of the bracket and handle are plastic. Well it is very light, so when replacing a standard shower head with this hand held hanging shower head should not be any increase strain on your shower pipe. Also keep in mind if you have the elderly using this, you should consider that it may be difficult for them to unhook it to use it as hand held. It is not like the ones in Asia, where it doesn't have to force fit onto the holder. They will pull at it, so that is not a good thing. Even the bracket is plastic, that will screw onto the shower part. Now there are instructions and on it it says helpful tool is a crescent wrench. I do not recommend using a crescent wrench on this at all. This is all plastic and there is no real flat surface for a crescent wrench to properly grip for tightening. Plus you will scratch and damage the plastic chrome finish. All you need to use is a hand towel to help tighten it so you don't ruin the finish. It has several spray pattern settings but none of them are pulsating types, they are all straight sprays of different patterns and strengths. No pulsating spray pattern setting at all. Decent spray strength. Is it 40% more as noted on the package, not sure I felt it but it felt decent enough. Made in China with a Limited Lifetime warranty. But...when you go to the Moen website and look up the warranty on handheld shower heads it is a one year warranty, thus I guess that is a "limited" lifetime warranty. But in some states it may differ, so best is to call Moen if you have warranty issues. Save your receipt for proof of purchase. Overall decent hand held showerhead for my bathroom.

HydroEnergetix 7-Spray Handheld Showerhead in Chrome This 7-spray shower head has several settings I really like, but then all seven deliver more than adequate volume at good pressure. Installation was very easy and its great appearance added to our shower stall (see photo attached). When I did the install, I only had to hand tighten the connections. The 60-inch long hose is just right and never seems to kink. The head is a good diameter at six-inches and provides large area coverage making for a quick rinse-off.

First impression of this shower head is good. As with all shower heads if comes in with a water restrictor. However, this is the first one I've had where the spray doesn't seem to indicate that there is less water flowing. Very unusual for a appliance with a restrictor. The spray head settings are felt by a positive click. Even though it says brush stainless finish, it's paint on a plastic housing. For most that shouldn't be a issue. But my concern is we are using it for a outdoor shower by the pool. I'm sure time will tell and I'll update my review if any problems arise.
