I returned this. The ice was astonishingly unappealing…white and creamy looking, like it fell from the sky off a passing jet.i spent the money on a GE Opal instead which I really like.

magic Chef portable ice maker
I would have given it five stars had it not stopped working the other day. It lasted one year and four months before having to be replaced. It was a lottle difficult ro clean however other than that it made a years worth of ice just as promised

Does not hold ice cubes for use it constantly lets them melt and remakes them. You have to constantly move them to a larger freezer to keep them. Or just roll with them being recycled if you don’t use them right away.

Bought this to have a supply of ice in my camper. Have had it 2 months and it’s worked flawlessly . Makes ice quickly and doesn’t take up too much space. Works much better than I hoped for, Pleasantly surprised.
