I actually wanted a two door style, but I have heard they freeze you drinks in the refrigerator section. I have this unit set at 4.5 and it stays at 38'F. It was very well packed for shipment and arrived w/o any damage. My only complaints are how long it took to get here and that I was not notified that it was ready to p/u.

Purchased this product to go with our basement renovations. I especially like that it does not have a freezer! Lots of room for beverages and food for entertaining and can store a 9x13 pan when we need extra food for large gatherings. I let the refrigerator rest for a few days before plugging it in so it could settle after shipping. When I started it up, I set the thermostat at 4 and it cooled right down to temp in about an hour. I've noticed a little bit of condensate frozen on the back wall, which I just wiped with a paper towel. I was disappointed that the black model didn't have free shipping like the stainless did. Glad I got the black even though it cost more.

Lovely little Magic Chef silver-toned fridge to replace our extra old one that stopped working. Our old 5.5 cubic ft fridge stopped working. We looked on Homedepot.com and found this slightly smaller one at 4.4 cf. We bought it on line and had it delivered. It came quickly! Wonderful little replacement for our cold drinks, with slanted slots on the door! Fits snuggle into the niche in our pantry where our old one use to sit. The top of it is plastic not metal, but seriously, for the price it cannot not be beat! We love it!!!

Easy to use

This is the perfect size to hold our cold drinks and it frees up space in our regular refrigerator. Perfect size to fit in our laundry room with plenty of space inside the door, too.

We bought this to replace a 4.3 cf refrigerator/freezer for outside our seasonal camper. The layout of this refrigerator is superior to our previous fridge as we gained a lot more space by not having a freezer. We had a cover made for our previous refrigerator that fits perfectly to protect it from the elements during the week while we are not at the campground. The cover fits perfectly. We are very happy with the added space, but we are still trying to dial the temperature in. The first week we had new fridge it seemed to cool slowly, so I set it at max cool (7). When we came back the next weekend (in 90 degree heat), we found four cans (beer and seltzer) had frozen solid with two of the blown apart. Beer in bottles were ice cold though. We turned it down to (6) to see how that works. Live and learn. Lesson learned, don’t drink beer from a can!!

I have had this fridge for about 2 weeks now and I am very pleased with it. It was well packaged, it is VERY quiet, has very good storage options/inserts and numerous shelf height adjustment options. I did not need/want a freezer and this was one of the few options out there without the freezer. I use it for my office at work and for $200.00 with tax & delivery, I would recommend.

I purchased this unit to go under my workbench in the garage. I fits perfectly (with adequate room for ventilation) beneath a standard base cabinet/countertop set up. It is SUPER quiet and holds two gallons of tea in the door. There is more than enough room for my water and other types of hydration fluids!

Well made and attractive. I like the adjustable glass shelves. Since I did not need a freezer section for this refrigerator I like the additional storage space this model provides. It also fits nicely under a standard counter top.

Works very well. Very happy with all aspects. I'm using it as a diy kegerator. It accommodates a single 5 gallon Cornelius keg. It will fit two kegs but would require doing some cuts on the inside plastic of the fridge. Jess

Very nice not to have the freezer area take up space.

Great size, just what was expected. I use it to keep the vegetables for my many tortoises separated from household food. It arrived on time, and without damage. I had to turn the temp dial down from 7 to 3, because ice formed along the back. It still forms at 3, but it is easily removed. The front and back leveling legs were easy to adjust. Overall, I’m very pleased with this mini fridge. It has only been in service about a month, and runs very quietly.

4.4cy ft mini fridge arrived yesterday- waited to set up for four hours as requested in the instructions. Came well packaged and on time. Plugged it in and let it cool overnight at 4 on the thermostat. It has a slight buzz while the unit cooled but stopped after a couple hours when it reached its temp. Filled it today. Just love that I got rid of all the beverages from my large fridge. We put the mini on a table to raise it to a reasonable height. It will eventually go on our beverage bar when we remodel. great bang for the buck

I appreciated the excellent customer service and prompt delivery. I especially like the extra frig space in the top as it's made without the freezer that most mini fridges have. No hassle with defrosting! The dimensions were spot on so the frig fit in the tight space I needed it to. I'd buy this again.

This met our need for replacement of a mini fridge that quit working after 14 years. It's attractive, a good value, fits the cabinet space in the office perfectly, and operates quietly. We've only had it for a little more than a month, but it's performing very well so far.

WE WERE LOOKING FOR A MINI FRIDGE WITHOUT THE FREEZER IN IT TO ADD TO OUR CARGO TRAILER CONVERSION AND THIS WAS PERFECT. IT IS COLD WITHOUT THE HASSLE OF A FREEZER AND QUIET. LOTS OF ROOM AND ADJUSTABLE SHELVES MAKE A NICE FIT.

This Maytag mini fridge was perfect for what I wanted it for; to make a kegerator. With simply drilling (holesawing) through the top, I was able to mount my tap tower and it was ready to go. It easily fits my 5 gal corny keg and 5 lb CO2 bottle with no further modification! There's even room for another 2.5-3 gal keg plus cans and small bottles on the door. No freezer and a light and thermostat mounted on the side instead of up top made the whole project much easier and neat than any I've seen on YouTube. And it chills well too. I'm now happily drinking my favorite brews on tap at home and it looks like I bought the kegerator already built, but at about half the cost of what it would have been if I had. I am most pleased with this fridge and highly recommend it to anyone else who might have the same idea in mind.

Looks great and keeps contents as cold as you can stand. I initially set the thermostat on High(7) and put some bottled water inside. Next day the water was already frozen solid, so now I'm running it on medium(4-5), and it keeps things very cold(but not frozen). I use it as a workshop fridge and I'm VERY pleased with size and operation. Highly recommend if you don't

So far so great. It’s in our Arizona garage and keeps our drinks VERY cold. There’s substantial room. Seems very well built. Very satisfied.

Replaced a fifeteen year old GE with this freezerless model. It arrived in good condition with no dents or scratches. Let it sit overnight after shipping to let the coollant settle and plugged it in. It runs very quietly, spent several days bringing the temp down to a setting of 4, giving it time to adjust after each change. So far it's perfect! The temp is steady and although I could make it colder there's no reason to. It is plenty cold for what I use it for which is bottled water, beer and juice boxes. The beer stays nice and cold at a 4 setting. Easy set up and looks really good. I love the extra space with no freezer in it which is really why I bought this model. There can be a tiny amount of frost on the back but, it's insignificant and no problem for anything. The door can feel a little snug and has to be pushed closed but, that's just means the door seal is working. We have it on carpet in an upstairs bonus room and found we did have to put a piece of plywood under it because the door was dragging on the carpet. You can't see the wood and I rather like knowing it's not sitting directly in the carpet. No problem leveling it. I would recommend this fridge. I would also recommend, after seeing some of the reviews, you take your time setting it up to the temp you want. Don't rush it. Let it sit and settle down, especially after the bumps it gets from shipping. Oh, one other thing I was happy about, the stainless finish is fingerproof! Great when the grandkids are here. We are happy with this purchase and thinking about getting another one for downstairs.

How great to get a mini refrigerator without a freezer! Freezer in old one was just a nuisance. This one is just cold storage is perfect for extra items we don't have room for in our big fridge.

I want to answer the question I was seeking that has yet to be answered. I use this fridge to ferment and cold crash before kegging. A 6 gal standard carboy will fit with minimum modification. Surprising enough, I didn’t have to build a collar to extend the depth. However, I did have to cut out the center arbitrary plastic spine from the center of the door. It took a few minutes with a dremel and I covered the exposed insulation with aluminum tape. I decided to not drill into the body and I run my temp controller through the door seal. The compressor turns on twice an hour and runs for 14 minutes per cycle. That’s with a full 5 gal carboy during cold crash at 33 degrees (see picture). Easy peasy.

Very roomy for a mini refrigerator. We use it as an “overflow” fridge and are really happy with it.
