I have medium to large hands and the Makitas work well. The HD Brand is way too heavy and big for me. Makitas always fit best and are light and powerful. Very enough for what I need. My average drill/impact lasts me at least 8 years. We don't use it TOO often as we only manage rentals but don't do all the construction as a full time contractor would. Our contractor uses Makita as well and swears by them. The batteries last longer than most brands in my experience.

I love my new impact driver. I am older female diy. I am replacing 31 feet of of old handrail on my back porch and adding 2 x 2 spindles/ballusters, all out of cedar. This impact driver works as expected like a dream. I charged one of the 5 Ah batteries and after days of work, it has not run out. This driver definitely has the power I need for driving in 3 1/2" screws into 1 x 6 exterior trim, 4 x 4 pressure treated posts and all the cedar 2 x 2s, 2 x 4s.

I love Makita tools, this replace a previous version of impacts for me and all I needed was the same as what I had but this we lighter, smaller and more powerful.

Broke within 2 months

I was not informed by the store associate of all necessary items required. Such as battery or charger.

Read the print. Don’t be disappointed by the photo. It’s for the impact driver ONLY. I spent 140$+ to get the kit. Makita quality has gone down while prices have gone up. Don’t get me wrong. I still rock makita, but that doesn’t change the fact.

Enough power to do the job. I own a 14 year old Makita drill driver and the original charger and batteries are still working like new and completely interchangeable with this new Makita tool. I’m sold on Makita!!

I use this impact for several hours daily at work. I rarely ever have to charge the battery during the day, and even when I do, it charges extremely fast. Great value if you get it on sale.

just what i needed works great

Wasn't sure on the torque but works well. Broke bolts loose without breaker bar. Drives self-tapping screws well also.

Compact and powerful. The 3 speed control is very useful to prevent over tightening small fasteners.

I use this to remove corroded screws on aircraft. It has saved me from drilling out hundreds of screws!

Trigger broke 2 weeks into using
