Awesome saw, great for cutting slabs and stair treads. The dual battery charger is a must if you run Makita.

Great saw, used everyday in my construction business. This is our second saw, liked the first so much. All but one corded worm drive saw stays in the tool trailer, the 10" bigfoot. You can expect all day use with the 5.0 batteries. I've gotten nearly two days use with the same batteries and literally hundreds of cuts on 2x sawn lumber. It will do anything your worm drive will do, only you won't be dragging that cord around to get hung up on everything! Great investment, highly recommend it!

Got this plus the 4 5amp batteries for 299. Reallt like it so far

Light-weight, powerful, accurate, I like the adjustable hook for working on rafters. Double charger is n I ce as well.

Excellent power, and like the portability. However, the saw is frustrating. The saw is extremely top heavy, especially when set to cut sheathing; hate chasing it as it rolls down a roof. Setting it down, and it flips over. I use a guide when cutting. For deep cuts, the guide will not clear the rafter hanger. Now, there is no reason the hanger could not be bent slightly. Really miss the laser light on my corded saw. Sawdust seems to go everywhere which can be a problem .

Much better power than my 6.5”, nice clean straight cuts

Makita's brushless motors have not failed me ever since I switched from Ridgid. Makitas take a beating and don't quit, at least on me yet.

Got a sweet deal on this just after Christmas. Came with another package of 5 amp batteries.

Good power to cut through some tougher wood. Nice smooth push when ripping plywood!
