The duct piece disconnected

This hood is poorly made, it fell apart while trying to connect 4” pipe to it. Threw it in the garbage!

4 inch pipe on bottom of vent could be longer for attachment of flexible vent from fan

Good product and idea

Really a rip-off of a product. Built from chicken coop aluminum with silicone sealer. All for ridiculous price.

These vents are VERY poorly made. I had to go thru the entire box of these vents in order to find one with a flap that fully closed. I seriously doubt that this vent would withstand snow sliding off the roof in the wintertime. I ultimately decided to return this item to Home Depot and I went to a local building supply store to purchase something better. I do NOT recommend this item.

Just what we needed for fan vent

purchased 4 of these for a renovation. would have gone 4-stars but the price is OUTRAGEOUS for what it is.

I do not recommend this product for high wind & rain coastal areas. Rain leaked into my attic, damaged the insulation, and bathroom ceiling and saturated the floor.

Its a great device but the price is outrageous.. over $$39..cmon HD how about loweing the price. I am sure your stock price can afford it

Of the vents that were available, I think this was the best quality. Since it was being installed along with a new roof I didn't want to think about possibly replacing it anytime soon.

Was easy to install after watching "This Old House and Tom Silver" work his magic. The job went so much easier then expected.

way over priced. poorly made using lite gauge material I would guess it is priced wrong

Our bathroom vent fan terminated in the open in our attic -- thanks a lot, previous owner. I picked up this vent and some insulated 4" flexible duct and the situation was a piece of cake to remedy. Sawzall'd a hole in the roof for the attached 4" duct, cut shingles to fit around the top half of the vent, screwed it all down over plenty of roofing compound, and squirted some more roofing compound over the screw heads to be safe. Works like a charm and we've noticed neither critters nor leakage. Be aware that the integrated flap makes a bit of noise in high wind. It was a bit surprising to hear light clunking noises through the ceiling fan the first couple of times.

WE USED THIS TO VENT THE BATHROOM VENT FAN THROUGH THE ROOF. BEFORE IT WAS CAUSING CONDENSATION BUT NOW ALL MOSTURE IS GONE AND ITS WORKING WELL.
