Master Lock reputation determined the choice...Theft of two commercial duty ladders was the reason.

I guess this product is great when no one is interested in stealing from you. But when that moment comes, the lock may fail you. Not sure what kind of cutter was used, but the person succeeded cutting it. If you can see the photos, it was not even a clean cut; it broke or cracked with enough pressure.

I expect that these babies will do the trick to keep things safer! They work perfect as a pair to prevent movement of a roll up door!

The 1.5 inch shackle is exactly what I needed for securing the patented metal straps for my RV battery boxes.

I use these locks on an enclosed trailer and they are fine for that, but the key is absolutely ridiculous. Masterlock tried to be inventive and put the slot on the side of the key instead of at the top like every other key out there. This means that it hangs on your keyring at a completely different angle than all of your other keys and is very awkward to handle when trying to use it on a lock. I'm going to go back and have a normal key cut.

so far so good, hope it withstands the elements in time. our previous padlock got infiltrated with rain water and all the w40 could not make it undo the rust damage.

My master lock heavy duty, gave me the satisfaction that I needed , because fit exactly the size to maintain secure and lock the door.

This lock is durable and it should deter unwanted guests. We highly recommend it.

This pair of Master Lock locks are installed on my storage unit doors doors. They feel very sturdy and operate extremely smooth. The keys look different so I can easily find it on my key chain. They look like they will do great against the outside elements. I recommend this to all my friends and family.

The only hard thing about it was getting out of the PACKAGE . l like the lock.

These locks were just what I needed for my project and work well.

My 4th master lock in 2024!!! The one I 1week ago is (stuck) something off with mechanism. Won't purchase master lock ever!!!

The world we live in……….everything needs a lock/theft deterrent, sad commentary on the state of society. That said, really like having four locks keyed with the same key. Same lock for gates, trailers, implements chained to a tree…..won’t stop them but will send them to the next easier target. Light it up, lock it up, or it will be stolen!

It is as described, heavy duty. Unfortunately, it did not fit the gate that it was intended to. So, it is repurposed for other duties.
