[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Masterbuilt 1050 a couple years ago. Every cook I have done on this Smoker has come out excellent. As a matter of fact as I am writing this my 15 yr old step Grandson has requested BBQ Smoked Pulled Pork for his Birthday. NOTHING CAN BE BETTER THAN THAT!!!!! Also, I have used the 1050 in cold weather (snow, winter) it has performed great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the 800 as a gift for my husband. I will say he was hesitant about using it as he had grilled in a gas grill for years. Honestly the grill sat for months until I fired it up! We were pleasantly surprised at how quickly it reached temperature and how steady the temp stayed through cooking. We use it most often to grill however have smoked a few things. The flavor is amazing - nothing you will ever get using a gas grill. We won’t be going back to gas!

I have had to replace couple parts but due to living in the salty air area. I love can set the temp and walk away. Stays a steady temp and the beat results every. Friends and coworkers love the results. Always a request at parties. Going to use in some upcoming competitions. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At the recommendation of a friend who raved about his Masterbuilt 1050 I went ahead and pulled the trigger on one. Was not real happy with the flavors I was getting with my pellet smoker. Have had a gas smoker in the past and got tired of always tending to the wood. The 1050 is the perfect solution. Great charcoal flavor and self feed burn.

I love this grill, probably the best grill I've ever used. It is really good at holding heat, which is essential when grilling. The issue I had was not this the grill, but with Home Depot. When I ordered this grill, I ordered it to be delivered, and assembled. It came unassembled. It took me an extra 2 weeks to get it, when if I would have went to a HD store I could have purchased it assembled, and had it delivered and received it in a few days at the most. I was not happy with this ordering experience at all. But, I'm very happy with the product!

Built incredibly cheap, half the welds in the firebox popped after about the 5 use, used some high temp silicone to seal it. Worked for awhile, that's gone and flames pour through

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the 800 gravity series for the versatility of having a grill, grilled, and smoker. The concept seemed perfect and I've had a 30 inch masterbuilt smoker for 7 years that I love. The quality is probably my biggest gripe. All of the metal components rusted within 9 months. The metal manifolds and tray that holds them in the Grill are almost falling apart. There was also a significant fire that started in the grill due to grease from the griddle. There has been quite a bit of a learning curve with this grill. It's a very good product if you're meticulous on maintenance. Clean it after every other use. Use oils on all metal components after every use otherwise you will have issues. I have made some of my best smoked foods on this smoker, brisket and pulled pork are amazing. I've used the griddle for smash burgers and hibachi and that works great as well. Overall it's a good product, just wish the quality was better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for an early Father’s Day gift from my wife, son and daughter in law. I couldn’t wait to get started. I’ve us d lump coal, briquettes and wood chips with briquettes. All have produced excellent smoke on brisket, ribs, wings, pork belly, and even when o just want to grill a steak or some burgers it’s like I grilled over a wood fire! Could be easier to get great results!

It's so good that my best friend went out and got the exact same one! Ease of use and the wifi are key to being successful cooking on this cooker. If mine got hit by a meteor tonight, I'd buy another tomorrow.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just buy it already! This thing is a beast. It can smoke at 225 for hours then all the way up to 700 to get a perfect sear. I've used it both for long cooks on ribs and brisket and hot and fast for the perfect steak. Need a flat top? Get this and a cast iron griddle or a large cast iron pan - let it heat up and you'll get more flavor than a Blackstone!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything you'd want in a grill. I especially love the ability to use lump or briquet charcoal. I was looking at pellet grills until I saw the Masterbuilt gravity series. What sold me was that with a pellet grill you have to empty the hopper after your cook due to the pellets swelling. This you just put the slides back in and save what charcoal you have left for the next cook. It even comes with a griddle, how cool is that.

Have owned pellet “grills” well smokers but this cooker can actually get hot. Read a couple of bad reviews, they must have fixed the issues. I will never not own one of these. Griddle is amazing. Works as advertised. And the rotisserie attachment is to die for.

The 1050 has not failed me yet. Been able to do slow and low, as well as hot and fast cooks. Love the great smoke flavor I can get bs using a pellet grill. Tons of cooking room. Way more than other grills I have had in the past.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my Masterbuilt Gravity Series 1050 Digital Charcoal Grill+Smoker for almost 2 years without a hitch. The 1050 has enough room to smoke a turkey, a brisket and a rack of ribs all at the same time. The ease of success for even a novice comes from the ability to use lump hardwood for smoking coupled with the thermostat-controlled fan maintaining consistent and constant smoker temperature throughout the entire smoking process, as well as the ability to monitor the internal temperature of up to 4 different items being smoked with individual temperature probes while using the smartphone app. The end result is unmatched by those other guys' pellet smokers, which in my opinion impart an unpleasant off taste that is not present when using real lump hardwood.

Great smoker. Maintains temp well and a combination of lump charcoal and wood chunks (not chips) imparts a fantastic smoke flavor. If you go from smoking to grilling I highly recommend getting a grill degreaser and cleaning the drippings from the manifold prior to cooking above 300 to avoid a grease flare up. Make sure your phone is connected to a 2.4 Ghz WiFi network before trying to connect the app and smoker. You may need to create a separate guest network that is 2.4 Ghz to do this.
