[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m sorry, I really loved my old washer I had for 15 years. But it quit spinning out the water so I thought I’d try a Maytag. It doesn’t spin out rugs either unless you have more than one. The dryer is hard to get to the controls when it’s stacked.

It is large enough for even my combined towel and bedding loads, and washes everything from dedicates to stained whites well. I highly recommend this machine to all my friends and family after I saw it as CR "Best Budget Buy" and am very happy with my purchase.

Purchased the set new for $1400. 1.5 years later the washer needed extensive repair due to factory defective part. Maytag did not warranty. Now, 6 months later it needs repair again. Washer doesn't clean clothes well. I'm disappointed in this machine and will probably never purchase a Maytag again.

I purchased this maytag washer June 26th 2018 for $698 and as of now the control board needs replacing at a cost of $648. This is only 14 month old and therefore obviously I'm not happy since it has only lasted a year. I would not recommend this washer.

Junk, absolute junk. The control panel went after three years of very light use by a single, middle-aged person. The washer was not abused in anyway. Whirlpool/Maytag will not cover the part. I offered to cover the labor, whirlpool/Maytag will not cover the part. So, I am going to take out the Maytag dishwasher I have in my Home Depot shopping cart.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this several weeks ago to replace old Maytag washer. The features/selections for temperature, etc etc are great. It is easy to clean the rubber dam and low area under the dam. It is a little noisier that the old Maytag but certainly not offensive o bothersome.

We have had this for a year; replaced a maytag centennial that kept leaving small holes in my clothes. This washer is great - no holes, clothes come out clean and stains are out. I also love the delay feature and we use the soap and softener dispenser. My spouse does mens 6 pants and 6 shirts at a time so holds big loads. My only complaint is that I would love to see these with a soak feature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased after my last Maytag went out after many long years of use. This is a typical Maytag quality machine. It runs powerful, yet quiet. Max extract works great to get squeeze out much water. This is a short machine. If you are tall and/or have back problems, put this on a pedestal. This does not have reversible doors. Hinges are on the left, opens from the right so if your dryer is to the left of the washer, it's a little cumbersome. I also miss the presoak feature that allowed clothes to soak a few extra minutes before the wash kicked on. Otherwise, this is a solid unit that's done very well.

I like my new Maytag Front load washer as it has a stain fighting feature, which is great for kids clothe and messies!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For a mid price range washer, I think this model is hard to beat. In three months of use, we haven't found a single clothes washing feature or setting we'd want to add, much less at a price premium, and have found that one customized setting--regular wash, on cool water(which we Iike--not cold/not warm) with an extra rinse handles 90% of our laundry loads perfectly. I also like the spin only cycle (previous unit had combo rinse and spin). My only concern is the location of the filter UNDER the unit and that it's not front panel accessible for regular check and maintenance...we'll wait and withhold judgement but it IS a point of concern.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased both a washer and dryer. They both are faster and the washer does not vibrate the whole house on the high spin. The dryer tumbles the clothes better than our old one which dries the clothes faster.

The dryer performs great, but the washing machine makes very loud clunking sounds during operation. The reviews I read stated this, but I didn't realize just how loud and bad they were until I had it professionally installed. Good thing I bought an extended warranty.

The product was fine for the first year, Now the bottom of it starts to leaking even when it's not being use. Used the machine roughly twice a month, which means I've only used the washer less than 30 times...

I would not purchase this again, the cycles run for longer than seems necessary and the functions are not user-intuitive. A big disappointment.
