Q:how does the steam work and is there a separate water line needed for it

      Answer This Question

A:  Steam line is attached to cord for main water line into washing machine somehow. The delivery guy from Home Depot hooked it up and attached it to the water line. I honestly don't use it as much as I thought I would.

      by|Feb 24, 2019

A:  The washer requires hot and cold water lines. It heats the hot water into steam using an electric heating element.

Q:How long does a load take time wise? Is there s short cycle?

          Answer This Question

A:  There are several cycles. You can choose which cycle and time. There are a few short cycles, power cycle, rapid wash - to name a few. There are also ways to adjust the temperature. I am 100 per cent pleased with this machine.

          by|Dec 19, 2018

A:  Annie, our Washers do rely on sensor technology to determine load size, wash times and spin speeds. A wash cycle can range anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours. There is no way to be precise with these times because options selected, water pressure, and load size all effect cycle time. The Washer does have a Rapid Wash cycle For small loads (2–4 items) needed quickly. This cycle combines high-speed tumbling, a shortened wash time, and an extra-highspeed spin for reduced drying times. More information on washe cycles can be found on pages 9-11 of the Use and Care Guide: https://images.homedepot-static.com/catalog/pdfImages/d8/d817f0b6-bc01-4f8a-930a-7bbe762b4353.pdf .

A:  I have never moved my machine, but if I needed to I would call the store where I bought it and ask them that question.

                Answer This Question

A:  I would use the Delicate cycle, cold water with Woolite. Do not use dryer for wool.

                by|Nov 26, 2018

A:  Hello LL! There is not a specific cycle for Wool. However, we would recommend using the cycle specified on the use and care tag for the item. Thank you for your inquiry on our Maytag appliances.

                by|Jan 3, 2019

A:  This model has a delicate cycle but it does not have a dedicated wool cycle.

Q:Does washer have a coin trap.

                    Answer This Question

A:  Unsure of coin trap but know that the screen to screen out particles is deep inside machine and you have to take off a panel of washing machine if you need to clean it. Some people have written in that once they do that they make a little door on that side of machine in front of the screen to clean it easier in future.

                    by|Feb 24, 2019

A:  Yes, but it's not easy to get to. You have to remove the front of the washer. This requires tools and a good bit of time. After that, there is a removable cover that allows you to open the trap. It has 1/4" holes, so it will catch bobby pins, hair clips, coins, buttons, etc.
