Fablous tile that is very easy to work with and cut. Very impressed on how it looks.

We are planning to install the tiles later this week, and so I will update my review after the installation. A concern that I've noted on a few of the mosaic sheets - is that some of the individual tiles are not uniformly spaced. Some of the tiles were glued to the adjacent tiles, and some of them were spaced incorrectly. I've read on blogs how to correct this, but since I consider this a high end tile, I was disappointed with this aspect. My plan is to lay out the tiles before installing them, and I hope that the misaligned tiles are not common throughout my order. Overall - the colors of this tile (emerald) and the other color I ordered (mint green) are really lovely, and I am happy with the appearance.

I purchased this penny round tile thinking it would be a dark brown/chocolate. It is so much better. It has variance in browns, tans and copper/gold. It has a low sheen, but when the sunlight hits it from the window is is beautiful. I used this tile as a fireplace surround. It was so easy to install, and I used a cocoa-colored grout. The fireplace is a work in progress, so glad I chose this tile! *My dog loves the fireplace too.

Love, love, love this penny tile! The matte finish is fantastic and the tile is really nice quality. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is not because of the tile itself, but because it is a bear to install. We have done numerous tile projects, but nothing that is as difficult as this. There are really good websites that give good insight on installing penny tile, like use a level horizontally, vertically & diagonally every couple of rows, because it's like installing an optical illusion. Your eyes start going cross looking at it after awhile. Other than that and having imperfect walls, it's perfect & looks great.

Color is neutral beiges; not as dark or as gold as it appears on screen. Merola will send multiple small samples for a few dollars. Goes well with Antic Craquelle tile and Avanity taupe Glaze vanities. All Merola tiles, going in formal Baltimore Victorian rowhouse restoration.

Purchased this tile for our guest bathroom. The tile came out great. My wife and I live in a 1930's house and we wanted it to have the look of new old and it has a piece of modern in it but still staying true to the traditional look. We matched it with white subway tile as seen in the picture. The product is great and its a great price. Our designer picked this product but her price was $18 a sqf and when googled it home depot came up for half that, it was a no brainer. Still kind of expensive but we had a very small space to cover. Overall we are happy. The only complaint is that when you stand on it bare foot for an extended period it starts to feel like you are standing on rocks. If you put a mat down, it feels fine.

These tiles are pretty, but you will not necessarily get what you see on your computer screen. I ordered this tile twice - once about 6 months ago to see if I would like it. That first batch came with some very nice color variations very similar to what is pictured. This last shipment is totally different tile - there is absolutely no color variation - it is all a muted grey-blue. If you want to use this tile, order ALL you need at once at there is obviously no quality control on re-creating the same color from one dye lot to the other. I would recommend the tile IF the batch you get is what you are looking for as it is pretty. It's unfortunate for us because I really wanted the varied color in the tile.

We recently completed a tile project of our front entry steps using these blue penny tiles. We live in Juneau, Alaska so tile used for outdoor projects needs to be durable! We found the penny tiles extremely easy to use and very colorful. Placement and grouting were easy, and the color really pops against a gray background. We have had numerous compliments on the project already

I purchased this tile to use as an accent in my around my tub and shower. It turned out wonderfully! The guys who installed it said it was easy to install. I paired it with a gray subway tile and it looks beautiful!

We are really pleased with these tiles, they complete our kitchen giving it the clean- cut modern style which we wanted to achieve. We had a handyman install them. These tiles represent great value. We chose the marine color but the color we got is various shades of blue with no hint of green as shown in the product photo, however this color worked for us. We would definitely recommend the tiles for any kitchen for quality, appearance and value.

A few of the tiles fell off the sheets, and tricky getting around the outlets. Worth it though, it looks great.

The penny tiles arrived quickly, were well packaged, and of excellent quality. Very nice marine blue color with a brownish trim which matched our kitchen cabinets. I used a sanded light gray grout.

The draw of this tile was the fact that the pop of the darker blue was going to tie the tile from the kitchen into my living room and dining room styles. The sheets have very little variation at all. I ordered three boxes and of the 30 sq ft they are basically ALL the same lighter blue. They're good enough for what I'm trying to do color scheme-wise, but I was very tempted to return them. They need to update their images because the pictures here DO NOT accurately reflect real life appearance.

I love the way the colors in these tiles worked to bring together several different blues I had made for a pool house counter top.I just peeled off a few to work around some irregular tiles and then used most of them on the mesh-sometimes just tearing the mesh to break up the regularity and give the impression of movement. The mesh helped hold the tiles going over the edge in place until they were set.

i recently remodeled my spare bathroom, and used this tile for the floor and shower floor. I think it looks great. I went for a classic look with white subway tile and this penny tile on the floor, and the two went well together. One thing i noticed was that the grout covers up some of the dark brown color around each tile, if i would have caught it sooner, I would have removed more of the excess grout to reveal more of the tile. One concern of mine was this tile being too slippery for the shower floor, but it is not slippery at all. Since the tiles are slightly rounded, they do not lay perfectly smooth, this allows for more grip. Also there is a lot of grout space, so that provides for great grip under my feet. All in all, I am happy with this tile.

Tile looks nice, but are not securely attached to the mesh. Gently handling them causes the tiles to fall off the mesh.

I did a layout of a shower floor with this tile, made my cuts and laid it out on the adjecent floor. Applied my mortar bed and as soon as i picked up a sheet to install, almost every penny tile fell off the backer mesh making installation a nightmate. I eventually had to install every little tile by hand making all of my previous cuts useless. With the cost of these tiles i expected a better quality backer.

This tile was perfect for the floor of our renovated basement shower. It has a matte finish and the design of the small circle tiles is just right.

Love it! And I am seeing more and more yellow tile in design magazines since I saw yellow in a tile store and decided to go in this direction. I looked at many yellow tiles and liked the color of this one the best, pale yellow rather than too bright, and subtle when used with a light colored grout. When the tile was up with just the darker adhesive it was still very interesting against my darker cabinets, but I prefer the light, warm gray.
