These tiles are beautiful!!!! I installed these in 2 bathrooms and love them. I ordered 4 boxes for my project. Side note - be sure to get tile nippers if you don’t have tile saw for cutting around outlets. Husband is very happy with updated bathrooms.

Used in my shower and I really like it
The first time I saw this it was high up in the samples above the shelves of tile. I went to the sales rep and they ordered it for me so I never even knew it wasn't actual marble. Yes, I know that's not very smart of me. Anyway, it came to my house on a big pallet and I was sort of locked in.
But it's a happy story! We installed it and it looks beautiful! I believe ceramic is more resilient than marble and it's certainly easier to clean. I think it looks great. I was originally thinking about doing basic subway tile and this is much more interesting than that. I think of it as somewhat matte. I guess there are maybe a dozen different tile patterns but the way it was assembled that's a non-issue.
I paired it with Home Depot hex marble floor tiles and those have been a big hit with my friends. I can recommend this tile.

Note that this is ceramic, so when put next to actual marble, it will have a different look. However, on its own it looks very much like marble and the pattern is very random, just like in real marble. It has a very high sheen and so looks like polished marble without the work of polishing. But most importantly, it's much easier to work with. It is thinner than real marble and it has clean edges.

I really liked the looks of the Merola Classico Carrara glossy Metropolis 3"X 6" subway wall tile. The tile not only has a high sheen marble finish and color but also has a pattern. I used it as a kitchen back-splash but it can be used in a bathroom shower or accent wall indoors. The tile has 90 degree edges so the tile can be laid tight together with a small grout line or spaced with a grout line in white or a contrasting color. There is complete instructions on the website along with a tile calculator and a list of materials and tools needed for the project,

The Merola Classico Carrara Matte Tile is the perfect choice for to instantly update. This tile is provides a modern elegant feel to our kitchen which we used for the backsplash. This is a high quality tile, with a nice, but not to heavy weight to it. Weekend installation job to cut, grout and seal. The tile is gorgeous, amazing color and veins, and easy to clean.

These are great looking tiles. The subway tile bevel is nice looking, but the marble gray running through the tiles is just as good. I'm using them as a backsplash for my kitchen. They look good between my dark cabinets and my dark countertop.
They arrived well packaged and were not damaged at all. There was a pile of styrofoam packing surrounding the box. I was pleased. Great tiles. I'm buying more.

High end marble look for the cost of ceramic tile, who would not be happy with that. This Merola tile is one of my favorites, it mimics perfectly the cost of high end marble at the fraction of the cost. It is sturdy and easy to clean, has a nice sheen to it and once installed you cannot distinguish from real marble. I am very please with the look of my bathroom, it looks really high end and absolutely wonderful.

Beautiful classic marble appearance. A variation of subway tile but small and with a little raised detail. Very shiny and reflective. Colors are white and light gray. The white is not bright white but has a subtle gray undertone. Tiles in my sample were fairly consistent in colors and pattern. There are some tiles that have mostly the white and other tiles that have more gray. Spaced out it looks fine. You could play around a bit with how they're laid out and come up with your own masterpiece. 44 tiles in a case to make close to 6 square feet. All 44 in my sample arrived with no damage. The Classico Carrara is still my favorite Merola tile. They just look good anywhere.

Absolutely stunning tile! The slightly raised (almost 3-D looking) shape, the subtle grey veining and the lustrous sheen combine to make an elegant impression on the eye.
This tile, when installed, leaves you with a modern and beautiful look. When installed with high-end fixtures, this tile holds its own and looks just as high end as anything else in the room!

These are ceramic tiles that give the look of high end marble. The patterns on each tile have a random marbling pattern so that they don't look like a mass produced tile but like each one is individually cut from a piece of marble. The installation is just like any other tile whether you are using grout or if you use an adhesive to install without grout lines.

These tiles offer a high-sheen, glossy appearance for a clean, light look with a beautiful carrara marble-like finish. They are substantial (i.e., not too thin) and have a square pattern on the back so they adhere well when set. Their size and light weight make them easy to handle. I think they would be a great addition to any setting where an elegant, high-end finish is desired.

I think this is my favorite color of the Merola ceramic wall tile, (no matter the patterns or embellishments each particular model has.) This specific model is very simple and relatively small but still shiny and beautiful. Colors are off white and pale gray. White marble is just a classic that will continue to come back forever. This is not pure white though. Very hard for me to photograph accurately and my pics do not do this product justice. It goes well with the glossy white chair rail also offered by Merola, but the chair rail is closer to pure white. Each tile is different but all go together perfectly. I received 44 tiles and all arrived intact with no damage. This is a nice upgrade that can go anywhere without being too too busy in appearance.

Nice looking, bright, shiny, modern ceramic tiles that look great in any kitchen or bathroom floor or wall. Do note these are a print of Carrara marble on ceramic tiles NOT actual marble. So they weigh less and don’t look quite like the real thing. However, they are representative and could work as a complementary accent tile around natural marble for a contrast. Easier care and maintenance than marble. Standard installation with no surprises. Looks good, easy to clean, nice update.

We do not recommend using our Classico Carrara Glossy for floor installations as it has a PEI rating of 0, meaning it is suitable for wall use only.
There are a few factors that differentiate wall and floor tile. Tiles made for flooring are very strong and resist wear and tear. The strength and durability of tile is measured with the PEI rating, which evaluates a tile’s resistance to wear on a scale of zero to five. A PEI of 0 indicates that a tile is only suitable for wall use whereas a PEI of 5 would indicate it is very durable and scratch resistant, able to even be used in commercial spaces. Because wall tile usually does not stand up to the heavy traffic of floor tile, it tends to be less durable or more prone to breaking.

I love this beautiful Merola Tile Classico Carrara Glossy Ceramic Wall Tile. Different variations of light to dark gray marbling. I'll be installing this in my kitchen for a nice new back-splash. Endless designs to create. I like the tight fit look better for using minimal grout. I'll be matching the grout color to the tile for a nice and clean classy look. I will also be mixing in the Classico Carrara Hexagon tile for a nice design behind the stove. I'm also re-painting my cabinets white this spring so they'll look great with the Classico Carrara tiles.

I used these ceramic tiles for the cooktop backsplash in our barn-dominium kitchen. I installed 1/4" concrete backer board over the drywall to give the tile more depth and make it even with the future ship lap. Since this tile does not have the typical preformed spacers, I used 1/8" spacers and sanded grout for extra strength. The semi matte smooth finish is soft yet will be easily cleaned from cooking spatters. The carrera marble design is also not over done and looks very tasteful. This tile will look terrific in any wall application including tub/shower surrounds.

This tile is perfect. I am using them as accent pieces on my bathroom walls between bigger tiles. They matched up with the bigger tiles I am using very nicely. This tile has a matte finish and attractive subway style edges. Delivery was great not one was broken in the case. They are slightly thinner than my main wall tiles so i will have to butter them a little thicker. Overall these tiles are very pleasing to the eye. (They would be awesome in a kitchen or accent wall area.)

Beautiful narrow tile and much classier than the institutional style subway tile that has been popular of late. They are narrow at approximately 2 and 7/8ths of an inch by 11 and 7/8ths of an inch. Smooth but not highly reflective. Colors are white and light gray. The tiles have slightly different patterns of marbling. They are thin and probably most appropriate for indoor walls in bath or kitchen, but could be used in any room you want. I received one case to sample which included 44 tiles. Though not particularly packaged with extreme care, all tiles arrived intact, nothing broken, no scratches or flaws on the front surfaces, (I checked every single tile.) The backs are gridded so should be fairly easy to cut as needed. They are ceramic. Backs have "Made in EU" stamp. Beveled smoothly with no sharp edges. Some dusty residue in package but nothing that caused slivers or itching. No odors. One case is small and manageable to carry but heavy. Overall, a soothing, calming luxury. AND no fingerprints.

The product doesn’t match the photos
We ordered Classico Carrara White 3x6 glossy ceramic tiles in Metropolitan Metro.The sample and photos on the website, show a balanced variety of tiles. In reality, we found only “ONE” of the showcased tile that was highlighted. That is ONE out of 440 tiles! In the end, we love our finished bathroom partly because we got creative and used the more dramatic pieces in more visible areas. While the tiles is beautiful, we wish the product reflected what is portrayed in samples and photos.

11 sq ft per case, not 12.16
This 3x12 matte tile in white with gray veining is beautiful, and nicely coordinates with the other Classico Carrara tiles I bought. However, there are not 12.16 sq ft per case. I count 11 sq ft. There are 44 pieces per case, at 3"x12" each.
