Almost 3 months to the day of purchase, the unit is dead. It doesn't cool, gave me a error code which said it was low or out of refrigerant. Junk.

We upgraded from an 8000 btu portable unit, and the Midea has surpassed all expectations. It’s quiet, takes up so much less space than a portable, and keeps our bedroom as cold as it’s set. Flash cool will get the room cold fast and smart home integration is fun. U-shaped window design still lets in light, which is crucial for us. I installed in louvred windows and the louvres slipped right in the window slot. Highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade their air conditioning.

I waited a year to buy this particular ac, I saved my money because it was a bit pricey. I thought it was so innovative and interesting. But boy it was not worth the wait.. for the price I was expecting more and it really disappointed me. It was loud, and took so long to put together. It is not user friendly, a completely pain to install. You better know or be a handy man or contractor. Save yourself the hassle and just stick to the traditional ac unit. This one is not worth it.

It was tougher to install than expected. However, I am very happy with it. It is incredibly quiet and very effective. We are experiencing a heat wave here, and while it is in the 90s outside, it is 73 in this room. I have only had it for 2 weeks but it has worked flawlessly.

Solid product. We now have three Midea u shaped a/c. Delivery was a fail again, though. DedEx left this expensive item out on the sidewalk in front of our building - AGAIN!

Perfect upgrade. Quiet. Easy installation.

Installed and cooled the room, which is about 375 sq ft, 10 degrees in about an hour. Unit is quite and has lots of features that I hope to use in the future, such as WiFi control. Possibly would deserve a 5 star rating, yet the unit has only be used about 10 days this season, so hard to rate the reliability component, which is also a critical factor to overall satisfaction.

I like the operation of the unit; however, the frame provided does not accommodate the deep window sill of my building.

Totally different system than others I have owned. The major difference is that it is significantly quieter which allows me to sleep better at night.

I have owned many window units but this one is the quietest of them all...by far. It appears to be well made and is also very effiecient. If you want quiet...this is the one.

I bought this unit for emergency use during power failure to be run on generator power. It works very well to cool the single room as intended and does not overload our generator on startup owing to inverter drive However, we have since used it every day since it is very quiet and makes the room more comfortable for sleeping

This is the best window air conditioner. It is very quiet and it does a great job of cooling of my bedroom.

Easy to install and included everything needed. After a few weeks of use I can confirm, very quiet and well thought out controller. Plus the wifi app allows full function while away. Perfect!

I purchased in May 2023. After using until mid-September, I stored it until July 2024. After installing, the unit displayed an E7 error. After a brief search I saw this was a common issue. I submitted the required paperwork to Midea and was informed the window for any kind of coverage had passed. I now have a 50 lb paperweight that had 4 productive months. Midea did nothing to accommodate my issue, despite the fact that it seems to be fairly common. I would not recommend this product.

WARNING! The bracket provided will not properly fit a window with a cut stone/limestone sill (older/vintage units). The angled feet on the bracket end right at the corner of the sill, rather than sitting on a flat surface, This will cause the feet to constantly slide around and the rubber pads will fall off, and the movement of the bracket will cause damage to the window and frame. DO NOT USE until the manufacturer provides a bracket designed for windows with cut stone sills (longer legs).

This A/C is very quiet and cools very quickly. The installation is super simple and can be done by just about anybody who could you a screw driver and very basic tools. As its new cannot tell you the longevity of the unit yet but it cools a SW FL bedroom just fine.

Its quiet and easy to install. No more loud noise in the house. Just cold air blowing.
