This is a fantastic drillblock! Totally worth every penny, this is a very inexpensive way to make sure all your drilled holes are perpendicular, the steel sleeves are chamfered for no snagging on the drill bit, and the block it has a nice feature that allows you to drill at 45 degrees on a 90-degree corner. There are other versions on the market, but I loved the features on this one.

Very reasonable price and works well. Used it to make donut bd for a wedding. Does need a steady hand when in use to make sure it doesn’t move while drilling.

From where I have the countersink set on the bit to make a hole without the drill block, I need to remove the counter sink and go up the height of the drill block about an inch and a quarter and then drill the hole without the counter sink and then come back at the end and make the counter sink hole. A little more work but my hole should be straighter than without the assistance from the drill block. Worked perfectly.

Great to have in the absence of a drill press. Perfect for the home diyer who needs to drill straight holes across boards and lumber. Works as advertised.

I still haven't used it yet but, just holding it in my hand it's definitely made for right handers.

I like the concept of this drill guide. My 3/16 inch bit was only slightly longer than the height of the guide, so I only got a hole slightly deeper than 1/4 inch. That was not deep enough for me to drill a perpendicular hole. This gadget should work if I need to use a wider bit because the wider the bit, the longer it is.

Drill Guide worked perfectly for drilling straight holes into furniture where using a drill press was not an option. I just received it and was ablt to drill holes for feet in a book case. Perfect results were achieved. Overall I am very pleased with this tool.

Drill Block

It is alright. Does the job. Very difficult to grip it and keep it steady while the drilling is running. there should be a way that it locks into place. Super difficult to use it on the edges of a 2x4 lumber, for example, to drill dowel holes. Should be fine on a wall, maybe.

Simple little guide for small straight holes. I would be great if it offered a couple larger drill bit guides.

This an overall great tool to have, but the guide holes seem to be a little too large. This allows the drill bit to still shift if you are not careful, and can end up causing the hole to still be slightly crooked.

This is a handy little tool for drilling perpendicular holes in a wide variety of shapes when you can't use a drill press.

It worked well. The corners are a little sharp and dig into your hand when pressing down but I knocked the corners off with a file.

This item was exactly what I needed to finish my project. The cost was affordable and I can't say enough about the accuracy it enabled me to have.

Good idea you can keep it in your pocket it shows you how to get the best angles and gives you guide the most popular drill bits. You can use it on the walls. You can use it on the floor. You can use it sideways good to excellent value for under $10.

Have not used yet but is sturdy enough to do the job

I gave it a four because the holes are not 100% accurate. Very close though. Otherwise it is a good product for drilling good [but not perfect] vertical holes.

Made my drilling accurate and faster.
