I needed a long level to install a new 8 foot entry door. I had a couple older 6 foot levels but didn't trust them after being knocked around for years. The Redstick Compact level fit the bill perfectly. Unlike my older levels, this level has a smaller profile meaning it's not as wide as my old I beam level. And even though it is compact, it seems stronger and has more weight than my larger I beam levels. I'm very happy with it and expect a long life and continued accuracy.

I use the level everyday. Is very easy to use. Seems well made and durable.

Says in the description it’s magnetic and it is not.

Don't get me wrong it's a nice level. But the description clearly talks about it being magnetic and it's not.

I have had a complete set first my 48” must have been bumped or something and was rendered worthless. Then my 78” level fell over and now it’s over a half of a inch off in 78” I would go through the warranty but I don’t want another one of these levels

The level itself is great but it arrived 5 days after it was supposed to. We I contacted Home Depot they were sympathetic but couldn’t help it ship any faster. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to use it on the job I ordered it for.

Feels like a very solid level. I am surprised that there was not a way to measure on the side of the level.
