This is the second blade I get. I thought first one was maybe I 1 in very few flawed in production but 2nd one also came apart. On first day of use on both. 2nd on only after 10 min of use.

The Milwaukee carbide blade is great to chew grout out of a joint for either grout replacement or removing a tile. And the dust management is much easier than using a angle grinder with a diamond blade. After removing a tile you lay the blade flat and remove old thin set. This procedure is much less stressful than going after it with a demo hammer. I use a cordless Milwaukee oscillator. With a variable speed adjustment.

Same great quality you expect from Milwaukee! I got this cause my wife wanted a tile backsplash in her kitchen and I didn’t know if I would be cutting pieces out to replace mistakes or not. This bolts right up to my cheap oscillating tool and now I’ve got to get the Milwaukee tool as I’m embarrassed to use my tool. The cutting surface has a fine grit around the edges, perfect for cutting into grout. Just be careful as the tool will score your tile if it gets away from you!

I needed a new grout blade for my Fein oscillating multimaster tool. I have used the gold colored ones before and although they do the job, they don’t seem to last very long. I ordered this one by Milwaukee from the Depot to give it a try. It fits my Fein perfect without using the adapter that is included with the blade. I can rotate the blade at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions on my tool to allow for different use positions. The face of the blade is a coarse grit and the edges are a finer grit. There seems to be much more “grit” impregnated on this one compared to the other gold ones. Also, the body of the blade seems to be a thicker metal that the others I have used. I only had about 3 feet of grout to remove after installing a new bathroom vanity over a tiled floor. It worked like a charm. Quick and easy. I took my time to let the tool do the work on the grout line. It was a 3/16” grout line. No damage to the ceramic tile. After I was done, I washed off the blade and it still looked new. I don’t use this type of blade very often, but it is a must have when doing any tile work or renovation work where grouted tile is present. I can see this blade being used for mortar work also. Although it is a bit more in price as the other brands, it appears it will last longer. Nice accessory blade for the oscillating tool kit.

The blade took quite a while to arrive. It did arrive undamaged. Like the other Milwaukee products that I own this one is very well made, useful, and should last a long time. I am using it for the kitchen new tile work at my house. It has proved to make quick work of removing grout and even trimming the tiles. It fits very well in both of my oscillating tools.

This Milwaukee 3 in. Bi-Metal Universal Fit Hybrid Carbide Grit 2-in-1 Blade for Tile Work Oscillating Multi-Tool Blade is very high quality. The outside edge of the blade is slightly bent up, not much but enough to reduce snagging. The grit is uniform and the finer edge grit seems about right for grout removal and the body grit about right for mortar removal. The package indicates Universal Fit and the compatibility table on the back lists most brands including Fein. My multi-tool happens to be that brand. It took several tries before I managed to get the blade to stay put on the tool. The first few tries resulted in the retaining screw completely loosening immediately. After changing to a smaller headed screw, I managed to keep the blade in place. Perhaps the problem is the age of my tool but be aware compatibility with a Fein may not be perfect.

This blade took off hard dried tile glue and grout from dozens of 2" tiles I needed to reuse.

Does not last thru one usage
Bought this to remove grout around my tub. It stopped working and ran out of abrasive material on the blade before I could even finish. Really poor quality.

It did a great job. It saved me hours of removal and prep. I had to remove half a dozen damaged tiles. It cleanly removed the grout without damaging the surrounding tile. It also quickly removed any residual thinset so I could retile the space.

Chose corded unit based on length of project and sustained power. Worked as advertised. Easy to handle and switch heads.

Very aggresive blade does the job. Maybe a bit much for some tasks? Be sure to protect surfaces around the work.
