It makes nice cuts in various metals when you take your time and let the blade do the work. It easily cut 1" copper pipe, unistrut channel--1/4" thick angle iron and flat stock. The cuts were extra clean with few burrs compared to other blades. Definitely worth the extra cost

I originally tried using a hacksaw but this metal cutting blade works so much better. It cuts through the aluminum like butter, and leaves a very clean cut. I know this blade will come in handy cutting through thicker metals, and the quality is top notch. Highly recommended.

I didn't have to change it out; even halfway through the job, it stayed sharp and cut well right to the very end. That makes my job working on that roof so much easier and less of a worry.

We decided to recycle the standing seam metal that was used as siding and roofing. Friend's trailer is small so we cut up the metal in 4ft lengths. This blade was still cutting through the metal after cutting more than 30 sheets. I also used it to cut out the old framing, through visible and hidden nails. Never missed a beat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a metal cutting blade that I could attach to my circular saw so that I would not have to lug around my heavy cutoff saw when I just needed to cut metal objects on the go. When I saw this Milwaukee 7 1/4” circular saw blade that is rated to cut steel, aluminum, struts and angle iron I knew this was the one! The cobalt infused tungst carbide blades effortlessly cut through the steel angle iron I was cutting. The blades remained sharp even after 20 cuts. The cuts were also pretty much free of burring. The blade was relatively vibration free and did not overly get hot. The 48 tooth blade is kind of best of all worlds as it is good for heavier stock metal but can cut lighter metals, plastics, and copper. There are also 56T and 70T blades available that are more geared for lighter metals and plastics if those are the main materials being cut. This is another stellar professional product by Milwaukee tools that I highly recommend whole heartedly!

It is very durable and leaves a precision cut Everytime. I used it to cut through metal and it cut very quick and easy. It never left any jagged edges. I highly recommend this durable blade. We recycle steel and sometimes it's nice to cut down the larger items into smaller pieces for disposal and transportation. This blade has done it's job and keeps on going. We will use it for wood but it can be used for pvc, plastic and decking materials. It has steel aluminum strut and 48 teeth. He is very happy with this blade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 7-1/4 Metal Cutting Circular Saw Blade came in so handy this past weekend. My husband was building a garage when he became sick. So my son in law and I decided we would use the metal saw blade and try to work on the garage ourselves. The blade cuts smooth and does not leave jaggeder edges on the siding, and also we used the same blade all day and did not have to replace. I am really impressed with the Milwaukee brand now and so is the son in law. It took us no time to measure and cut, the pieces we needed for the roof and I am looking forward to next time we are in the home repair store of buying a couple more to have on hand. #MilwaukeeSawBlade

I've been cutting 3/16" wall square tubing with the 5-3/8" cordless Milwaukee saw and the 5-3/8" 30 teeth metal saw blade and the teeth seem to dull quite quickly. I followed the instructions directing to only have the bottom of the blade extend no more than 1/4" below the bottom of the steel being cut, but must be doing something wrong to have the blades dull so quickly. Do you have tips for extending the life of the blade? Can the teeth of the blade be sharpened? thanks.

Worked like a knife through butter.

bought many different brands more and less expensive and by far these are the best all around blade i've found. i use it in my milwaukee hand held saw, do a lot of fabricating cutting tubing and angle iron. these cut and last very well.

it works really well at cutting most metal welds destroy it and does not hold up long cutting grain bin panels apparently the thin metal breaks the teeth off
