Well done Milwaukee Tools
During the pandemic i received a set of Milwaukee drill bits. They were Milwaukee so the quality was superb. I had not allowed they were for cutting fiberglass specifically and it has taken a year to have a fiberglass project with my brother-in-law and family and their sailboats. This 12 inch brill bit is serious, as were the others in the set. But as i have learned it is just the right tool for drilling to be able to pass through the sides of a fitting. Bit does not dull, bit cuts a perfect hole even using a handheld drill. The cutting point is balanced and mounted into the bit shaft to keep it true to form. Heavy as anything but you do not want a light tool for this work. Guess if you are doing work around the home and have a lot of fiberglass tubs, sinks, and shower surrounds this is just under an inch so it makes a pretty hole.

Serous drill bit for cutting fiberglass works on other things as well
During the pandemic i received a set of Milwaukee drill bits. They were Milwaukee so the quality was superb. I had not allowed they were for cutting fiberglass specifically and it has taken a year to have a fiberglass project with my brother-in-law and family and their sailboats. Bit does not dull, bit cuts a perfect hole even using a handheld drill. The cutting point is balanced and mounted into the bit shaft to keep it true to form. Great Utility Bucket
This is a canvas utility bucket. It can be used as a tool bag by people who work outside such as telephone linemen. I am not a telephone lineman and I already have a tool box but I found that I can use it for other purposes. I accumulate recyclables in my kitchen and take them out to the recycling bin in the garage once a week. Many times the pile is too big so I have to make more than one trip. But with this bucket, I fill it up with recyclable and can carry everything in one trip. Also, I periodically carry things in from the garage, such as rolls of paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc. I fill this bucket up and it is easy to carry whatever I need without dropping anything. It can also be used to carry gardening supplies. They thought of everything. They is a large carabiner, a carrying strap, the bag stays open by itself but collapses down to nothing, there are weep holes on the bottom to drain water, and the base is heavy duty molded plastic. My only issue is on the tag, it says “Easiest Attatchment”. The word “attatchment” is misspelled with an extra “t” in the middle. One would think that a big company like Milwaukee would get the spelling right.

Huge
Milwaukee 48-13-7809 Linemans 22” Fiberglass Auger 15/16”. That is pretty close to an inch thick. Intended for composite and fiberglass poles and arms. Recommended for the 2865-20 Shockwave Utility impact due to the 7/16” hex chuck. Not for drilling metals and concrete. The heavy duty bits design of the cutters is much different than the tools used on those type materials. I give you a few good photos of the cutting edges and the carbide tip. It's sort of self-cleaning. It comes in a heavy duty storage tube.

Excellent tool
The Milwaukee 13/16 in. x 22 in. SHOCKWAVE Lineman's Fiberglass Drill Bits are engineered to deliver linemen cleaner, straight through holes in composite and fiberglass utility poles and crossarms. The bit features a carbide tip for a faster, cleaner cut and best life. The 22 in. long bit is designed to pass through power utility poles and arms in a single pass. This eliminates the need to flip over the pole, line up holes and drill through the other side. The 7/16” hex shank allows for a quick connection. I found that this worked well for wood poles also, the carbide bit lasts longer than other designs.

I like this Milwaukee canvas bucket a lot. I do mainly exterior carpentry work on ladders and scaffolding and like using these buckets because I can take them with me up the ladder and have everything, well almost everything unless I forget it, within my reach. I've had many different models and versions of this general type of bucket and so far am pleased. The canvas is thick and strong, the bottom is solid and stops tool penetration, it is wide enough for certain power tools, and the loop and clip are pretty decent. The clip is nice that it swivels and I usually end up adding another large hook anyway. Even though I treat all my tools with respect I do not baby them. They get used every day for professional work. These canvas buckets have always been good to me, and I can tell this Milwaukee is good just like the others. A must have if you're doing any work at heights.

SUMMARY: DISAPPOINTED. A NICE BUCKET BAG, BUT DEFINITELY NEEDS A BIGGER HOOK. NOTE: If the restrictions imposed by the hook are not important, this may be the bag you want. But if you need versatility on how and where you hang it, the restrictions due to the size of the hook may be a deal breaker. BACKGROUND: I’m not a lineman or electrician. As a DIYer I’ve got a dozen different bags and totes, but sometimes you just want something you can throw tools in and hang off the ladder or rafter when you work. The chance to evaluate the Milwaukee Canvas Bucket Bag was too good to pass up. FIT AND FINISH: This is a nice bag. Heavy canvas. The hook is sturdy with a heavy swivel. Same quality I see in my other Milwaukee tools. FEATURES: From the Home Depot page, with my comments as appropriate. • Large, swiveling metal carabiner for the easiest attachment. The carabiner with a large gate opening allows users to clip it into place wherever they are working. o Not really. A big hook, just not quite big enough. It would hook on a work belt loop, but on my short step ladder, it would only hook on a couple of places; one was too low to reach tools and on the top rung it was difficult to hook or unhook, especially with tools in the bag. o I tried hooking it on some 1” EMT and again, the hook was too small. It wouldn’t come close to hooking around or even on a 2x4. Very disappointing. • Impact-resistant base and reinforced number 6 canvas for lasting durability. o Wikipedia gives this for the canvas: No. 6 (21 oz/sq yd or 710 g/m2): utility bags, place mats, belting. • Rated for up to 75 lbs. of carrying capacity. o That’s a good load for a bucket bag. • Built-in weep holes allow water drainage after extended jobsite use. o Or sawdust in my case. • Reinforced ring keeps the bag open for a longer-lasting storage solution. o One of the nice features is the open top, like a 5-gallon plastic bucket. • Collapsible for easy storage. o The top collapses onto the bottom for a total height of under 3 inches. Great for loading up for a job, then unloading and storing after. • Limited lifetime warranty. OPERATION: Pop her open, throw your stuff in and climb the ladder. Afterwards unload, collapse, and store. SUMMARY: A fair addition to my tool bag collection. A larger hook would make it much more versatile. PROS: CONS: Hook is too small to be effective.

As with most any Milwaukee product, this bit proves it weight. A 15/16 x 22 inch all purpose auger bit, it's listed as engineered for fiberglass and/or composite material. This is the kind of bit you might find in the tool bag of a commercial lineman. With it's long length it can easily reach your work from 30 inches or more when it's in your drill motor but you can't. It drills precise holes in all types of materials. I drilled wood planks and even concrete using any of my Milwaukee 1/2 inch drill motors or the shank is hexed for dedicated drill motors. Hammer drills and regular, corded and battery. It drilled cleanly and precisely with no evident damage. If you need larger bits often, these are the bits you want.

Engineered for commercial applications, you can have the same quality and precision of this high grade bit. This is the kind of bit you would find in a line mans tool bag. Designed for fiberglass and/or composite applications, this bit will do much more. 11/16 diameter, it is 22 inches long, is perfect for when you need a long reach auger bit with no obstructions. And though it's rated for fiberglass and composite materials. it will precisely drill wood and even concrete as I found using it in my 1/2 Milwaukee corded and non corded, hammer and non hammer drills. The shank is hexed and design to be used in dedicated drill motors but perfectly fits any 1/2 drill chuck. This bit took a beating and didn't mar the blades at all.

As well as this bit is designed and the awesome carbide tip with the classic fluting to move the material quick and efficiently out of your way it still has me concerned about the smell and feel of chemicals on the cutting tool. Most people who are using this product do so with gloves on. Everyone should also have gloves on when handling the bit. The only warning on the packaging is that is known to cause cancer in California. After you smell it you can quickly tell there are chemicals on the product. Unfortunately Milwaukee does not produce safety data sheets for accessories so keep the gloves on when handing the chemical coated drill bit.

The Milwaukee 11/16 inch fiberglass auger bit is the typical high quality you get from Milwaukee. Made for drilling into fiberglass or composite poles, it is long enough to do it in one pass. It is available in two sizes, 12 inch and 22 inches. The tip is carbide to make your cuts easy and quick and the auger come in a case that is great to store the bit when not in use. It has a padded insert to protect the cutting edge.

The Milwaukee 9/16 in X 12 in fiberglass utility auger bit is exactly what every experience DIYer (just one level below professional) needs in the tool box. The auger is meant to drill through those big projects that require drill through multiple wood studs. The auger will cut through fiberglass as well. It's not meant for concrete drilling. Great for all outdoor big timber drilling. Avoid the overheating that traditional bits eventually succumb to. You can use the auger bit on a hammer drill.

I have been a builder and remodeler for 51 years, and as such I have had a lot of experience in all areas of building and remodeling. Some of those areas might include using tools like this MILWAUKEE 13/16 IN. X 22 IN. FIBERGLASS UTILITY AUGER BIT. While it is probably not a tool that most builders and remodelers would use every day, when it is needed it is just the ticket. And Milwaukee tools are often a cut above many others.

This auger bit is tremendous. Having a 22 inch drill bit is a feeling like no other. So nice to have the reach you need when making long runs. I used this to run Cat-6 cabling from my basement up to my attic, to eventually drop down into an office room in the house. The fact that its made of fiberglass gives you a level of security. Even if you do hit a wire, at least you're not going to get shocked. You'll just have to deal with you mess; but at least you'll be conscious. Great quality, sharp as a razor, not too heavy. It's not a bit i will reach for on the regular, but when you need it, there is nothing like it.

I needed a long bit for landscape timbers, and used this instead of a wood boring bit. It did well, as long as chips were cleared regularly. Comparing this fiberglass-intended bit to a wood boring bit, the wood bit had more friction, but did about the same job. The auger bit worked well on composite deck material, so that’s useful if installing wire through a thick column. I have included a short video (1min, 45 sec) showing the Milwaukee bit going through two stacked landscape timbers and a larger section of railroad tie. The drill bit shank has flats in it to improve grip in your drill chuck. The case it comes in is a twist-cylinder that keeps the bit dry and protected. It’s quality gear, and very useful.

I am so thrilled to own and use the Milwaukee tools since they are the perfect and most reliable tools of all time for all technicians. Their innovations, engineering, and manufacturing are all top-notch. This is one of the new tools from Milwaukee, the 15/16 in. x 22 in. Shockwave Lineman's Fiberglass Drill Bits. It is engineered to deliver electrical linemen a cleaner, straight through holes in composite and fiberglass utility poles and cross-arms. It is a life-saving, time-saving, and money-saving tool since it can drill a 22-inch diameter post in one pass. No more flipping over and doing guesswork. The cut is very clean; using it with an impact wrench will make the work easier and faster.

Milwaukee makes great tools and accessories for their tools. I've never had a problem with them. This 11/16 inch, 22" long drill bit is no exception. It is made specifically for linemen wanting to drill through composites and fiberglass, but it works for wood as well. The tip has a lot of bite. We got it for projects where we need to drill through large pieces of wood (building an arbor with 6x6, and 4x6 across it). We wanted a drill bit long enough to go through everything, and this does the job.

As with most Milwaukee products, I find this to be an extraordinary bit. Sold as an auger bit for utility work, it is rated for fiberglass and composite materials. And it is quite effective for those materials. It's design is very similar to that of many masonry bits. So I decided to give it a try. This bit ate through a cement block like water. I tried it on a 2 x 8 board and it made a clean hole in seconds. In both cases, the tips of the bit didn't have a scratch. It still looks brand new. I am beyond impressed and can't imagine anything that can stand up to this bit except maybe glass and/or pottery. Hmm, might have to try that. Also impressive, each bit comes in a threaded plastic case and rubber pads that keep the bit safe and secure. For an added benefit, I inserted a desiccant pouch to each bit tube to eliminate any chance of moisture being trapped inside. This bit is made with a hexed shank for use in dedicated or commercial drill motors. But it fits any power drill or hammer drill with a 1/2 or larger chuck. I've used it in my corded hammer and standard Milwaukee drill motors as well as my cordless Milwaukee hammer drill.

High quality auger bit. The only limitation is the battery power or electric power coming from your drill. It easily bores through material and leaves a fairly smooth hole. This bit is very flexible, especially useful on most material. You can drill through one piece of 4" or you can stack them on top of one another and make quick work of almost any job. It is useful for projects that involve rebar or decks or most any project around the home.

Heavy duty and sturdy fiberglass auger bit. It is so dense that it feels and sounds like metal. It is machined very nicely and the cutter heads sit firmly within the fiberglass shaft. The bits are sharp and cut through wood like nothing. Easy to drill through logs and wood posts. Quick connect hex works great. The bit is very aggressive and goes through wood like butter.

I happened to be installing three sets of PVC shutters when I saw this utility bucket tool bag & ordered it online. I found it to be an invaluable tool to have when working on a ladder for this project. I suspect that anyone working any project involving a ladder would benefit from this tool. I estimate that it eliminated my having to go up & down a ladder by 50%, Just from a safety perspective it was well worth it never mind the effort of having to go up & down a ladder many times.

The Milwaukee 15/16 inch x 12 inch fiberglass utility auger bit has come in so handy in the landscaping jobs I have recently done. It is made for cutting through fiberglass poles but it cuts great through pressure treated 6x6 lumber without any binding. This is a very well made tool and you can see the quality in the machining of the bit. The 7/16 inch hex shank will fit heavy duty drills or a hex high torque utility impact wrench. The bit has deep flutes and they are machined clean and move a lot of wood chips. This bit has a sharp V shaped tip and it does cut through the pressure treated lumber easily. The bit is carbide tipped and should last a long time. As with all Milwaukee tools they do put a lot of engineering into their products and even a simple drill bit is made to do a great job and last a long time.

These bits are made for professional use by linemen but have many uses for DIYer's or electricians. The long bit is great for drilling penetrations through flooring or wall plates to run wiring, or for drilling wooden gate posts for threaded fasteners. Chip removal while drilling is lacking so a back and forth motion is required for quicker penetration. The hex shank fits a 3/8 chuck drill. Was surprised at how heavy the bit feels for being a fiberglass composition.

Heavy-duty bit for single-pass complete bores through poles. Rated for fiberglass and composite, but I assume the carbide tip is fully suitable for most woods as well. Requires a half-inch chuck. Aggressive point bites fast, with generous fluting for moving out material. The durable case unscrews easily and is fully suitable for continued use, which makes the bit easier to find later. Make sure you have room for the 22" bit and your drill :-). The spray paint can in my pic is for size reference. Can't go wrong with Milwaukee.

So, first off, I believe the use I put this drill bit to is not at all it's intended use. Please keep that in mind. This is designed to drill fiberglass. I tried using it to drill into wood. It did not perform well when drilling wood. My initial attempt was drilling a drainage hole in an old section of tree stump that we want to use as a planter. It very quickly drilled down about 10 inches, no problem easy as could be. Then it stopped. I thought perhaps I had hit a large knot so I tried other locations and could hardly drill down at all. I then attempted to drill through a 2x4 piece of lumber. I could not get more than about an inch deep, from there it simply spun and smoked. Again, not designed for wood so take my review for what it is worth. Otherwise this is a very seriously stout drill bit.

I got this Milwaukee Linesman drill bit that is made for composite and fiberglass poles. My new job is to install 2000 linear feet of double railing fence in the mountains for a land developer. The wood rails and posts were supplied, hard wood rollers that have been PT and sun baked for over a year because of Covid. I tried the wood boring drill and it slow and would bind up because of knots. Due to being high fire area you can only use battery power. This drill bit was the right answer. The carbide tip is EDM’d with a flute so It goes through knots without binding or slowing down. Yes you have to clear it unlike wood drill bits but it is still faster and easier. This has made the job hours go down to my original bid rate. I’m glad I found this drill bit. It certainly has my recommendation.

This Milwaukee 13/16 inch x 22 inch Fiberglass Utility Auger Bit is very solidly constructed. In fact, this bit is a beast. It's very large and heavy and definitely gets the job done. The bit more-or-less looks like a concrete roto-hammer bit BUT IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CONCRETE. This bit can fit a standard chuck, but also is designed to fit the Hex Utility High Torque Impact Wrench. I have attached pictures to show scale along with its ability to fit inside a 1/2" drill chuck (1/2" hammer drill shown).
