This thing has some serious power. It’s the first osculatory I’ve ever used or owned. I really like it. Pretty chunky in your hands but very comfortable. Multiple speeds to choose for your job or preference. This thing can chew through anything you point it at. Makes a nice little sander too.

Amazing cutting power in a small light weight package. The vibration in the hand, while using the tool) is minimal, all the power is in the blades. Switching blades is swift and easy and locked in place every time.

Highly recommend buying the m12 multi tool no vibration i mean there is a little but nothing like the first gen one an even that one was not bad but the fuel one cute like butter an sands very well too. If your r in the market for a multi tool get this one

Milwaukee's M12 FUEL Oscillating Tool generates incredible performance with cut speed with minimal tool vibration. With a tool free blade change, there is no need to carry additional tool to swap out blades. The brushless motor outputs 10,000 to 20,000 OPM and has a variable speed dial to give you greater control of the work you are doing. Included in the kit is a XC4.0 battery, charger, sanding pad attachment and pads, one cutting blade, and contractor bag. The tools weighs only 2.29 lbs which makes for ease of use over long periods of time. Multi tools are so versatile, the blades are on the more expensive side, but they are worth every penny. I have used my M18 non fuel version of the multi tool for over 5 years and when I got the M12 version, I was shocked at how much power the tool produces. I did notice a huge improvement on tool vibration when compared to the older M18 version. I do a lot of detailed carpentry work and furniture restoration, and I probably use this tool as a sander to get into the corners and along inside edges more then anything. Also works great for punching out small areas of drywall for electrical work. This tool is a must have and it's another great tool by Milwaukee!!

Amazing for the size and power. At 12v many would never believe it has the same power as a corded 3.5 amp Dremel multi tool, but it sure does. It is a beast and super compact. The blade that comes with it is really good and I was able to complete my project because of this tool. Thank you Milwaukee for yet another great product in such a small compact size.

I’m all in on the 12V Fuel line. This was a natural addition and replaced my corded OMT. Well balanced with a 4.0 or 6.0 battery. Just trim work and sanding so far. Tested with plunge cuts on pine 2x4 with plenty of power. Definitely worth the price same as my other Fuel tools.

Very similar to what I have read and other reviews, you didn’t know you needed this tool, until you now have it. Concurrently, you have to realize that this is a gateway tool. Not only to the Milwaukee brand, but to simply getting things done. For many years I have been doing the best I could with what I had. In the last several months my Milwaukee purchases have pushed me to do better and brighter. And this is just within my own home. As a consequence of this confidence, I am looking at starting my first ever business. Having the right tools that are capable and durable makes all the difference in anything you pursue.

I purchased the tool for a specific purpose while installing some vinyl plank flooring. The M12 Oscillating Multi-Tool worked flawlessly while undercutting the door trim and proved to be the perfect tool to make some tricky cuts on a threshold transition piece. The tool was light and comfortable to use, and I am happy to have this in my collection of Milwaukee cordless tools.

This is my First Oscillating multi tool and it far exceeded my expectations. I have used others oscillating multi tools and all corded and they were loud and had a ton of vibration. This tool was much quieter, ran much smoother with much less vibration, has tons of power, and the cherry on top is its Cordless! The kit came with some good accessories to get you started but i still ended up getting more blades to complete my project. This was an excellent buy and I'd highly recommend it for anyone

If you need that tool that is that one off type this is the one. Cut around moulding then sand it down without having to get up. Best multi tool out there.

The power, weight, and balance of the M12 Fuel version are perfect for any task that needs an oscillating multi-tool. Vibration control is amazing and allows for precision and control with finish carpentry work. Wish I bought this tool sooner.

The best multi tool out there! I love the feature that eliminates feeling the vibration in your hands, it really isolates the vibrations you normally feel with the typical multi tool. It allows the tool to cut faster and for longer. Just make sure you have a good blade to keep up with the tool.

Perfect tool and size has great use fir all my needs

I've been wanting to get an M12/M18 oscillating tool for a while now to replace my old Fein, a coworker of mine bought the new DeWalt atomic multitool so that was my push to get it! Went with the M12 for its compactness, I like the adjustable speed wheel vs the trigger on the DeWalt tool, it's pretty powerful and cuts quickly, on any given Tay I'll be cutting through 2x4's, plywood, drywall and on occasion copper pipe and ready bar, only downside is it's a battery hog so the smallest k would run on this is the 4amp but I'd recommend the 6amp and to make sure you have a few charged up if you use it lots like I do. Highly recommend this tool!

I had an older non-fuel, non quick blade change version, which has lasted years, and is still going strong. This is way better and easier to change blades on. Quick change, tool-less blade change makes all the difference. There is a magnet to hold the blade in place until you tighten down as well. Led lights up work area nicely and speed control and battery life are great. Plenty of power for all the jobs we have tackled so far. Highly recommended, will buy again if we need another.

The M12 fuel is the best oscillating tool Milwaukee makes, and that's after pitting it against the M18. It's smaller, lighter and has the exact same power. Factoring in that it's cheaper, it's a hard case for the M18. I've also compared this to its yellow competitor and it far exceeds it in ease of use. It cuts wood faster, gets through thick nails and has a 5 year warranty as opposed to 3. If you need a multi-tool, the M12 is the best way to go. If I had one gripe it's that I don't like the switch on. It can be dangerous if dropped so be sure to take care when using it. I made a video of the M12 pit against competitors on YouTube. I have had the chance to put this tool to use on some home repairs around my house. This is a great tool. At only 12 volts, the brushless motor gives it the same work output as an 18 volt or 20 volt brushed multi tool. When doing wood work, it is nice to has a cordless sander next to the miter saw to quickly sand down the sharp edges and to make smooth any rough edges. I needed to make some plunge cuts into lumber that only this tool could make; that was when I realized the true power of this tool. Unbeknownst to consumers like myself, Milwaukee chose to not incorporate a quick-change mechanism for the changing of attachments. While no tool is required to change an attachment, the operator is still required to loosen a bolt in order to change attachments. Other multi tools have a lever that pops off an attachment and for installation, the attachments simply snap on. When I am using the sanding pad attachment and I want to switch over to a blade attachment, I have to remove the sandpaper which means destroying the loop fastener material on the back of the sandpaper. Milwaukee needs to incorporate a true quick-changing mechanism into the 2.0 version of this tool. The sandpaper should wear out before the loop fastener material.

Portable power at a good price. The Milwaukee Oscillating Tool (Model 2526-21XC) cuts as quickly as my plug-in tool but without the hassle of cord. It balances easily but one-handed cutting is harder to control because the blade is so far forward of the hand grip. It also tires my wrist a bit more. Like the other M12 tools, it balances perfectly on the flat M12 battery pack. The LED shines nicely on the top of the blade but its shadow makes it difficult to line up a cut from the underside of the blade when needed. As usual, blades can be installed at a variety of angles, but note the LED always shines forward. There's only one thing I dislike about the tool: the blade lock mechanism. Changing blades means flipping a lever AND unscrewing the capture bolt; my corded unit just uses the lever, which automatically releases the capture bolt. I also had a major issue with the battery, which I'm hoping is specific to my unit. The battery WOULD NOT install completely, and needed two of us pulling to remove it. Other M12 batteries had the same issue. I had to remove a rubber bumper inside the battery compartment in order to seat the battery and make it removable (See photo). I've never had, or expected, an issue like that with a Milwaukee tool. The kit comes with a single blade, a sanding pad, some sanding sheets, an M12-only charger and a zippered canvas case. Everything BUT the blade is made outside the USA; the tool and bag are Made in China. It's an ideal tool for renovation work – I've used it on several door trim and baseboard replacement projects and the battery is still on its first charge. I may never use my corded tool again.

I bought this after reading all the hype about the new M12 Fuel Multi Tool. Compared to my teal which is a workhorse, this one is definitely faster, no doubts. However, this has a more aggressive cutting angle and brushless motor, so increased cutting speed is of no surprise. What is surprising for a premium M12 tool though, is its non-ruggedness. After 5-6 test cuts on studs, the dust is everywhere inside the tool. Look at the photo! The sawdust is even blocking the LEDs from inside! Is that for real, Milwaukee?? Also, the battery insertion/removal is a pain. This is a tool that someone would intend to use with CP batteries for the compactness, portability, and maneuverability, but there's no way to do a quick battery change once the CP battery is out of juice. Probably the battery clips are going to fail at some point. In summary, this is a strong tool, but I doubt its longevity because of the poor manufacturing of the housing. Kind of a regret really, and will be going back to my dust-proof and overbuilt teal multi tool..

If I could give this thing 10 stars I would. I upgraded from a corded inexpensive multi tool to this and the difference is night and day! I have used this every day for the past month just because it is so easy to set up and start using in seconds. I love that I don’t have to have an Allen wrench with me to change to a new blade! I also used this to sand a vanity I just made and it got into all the hard to reach areas that my oscillating sander can’t reach! It also EATS wood while sanding so go easy with it! On its highest setting with the wood cutting blade from Milwaukee it can cut through 2x4s and 2x6s in seconds! I also got a ton of other blades and scrapers to use with it and it handles them all. The vibration is also very minimal on this multi tool compared to my last and is my favorite feature, I can barely feel it even on higher settings and it helps me cut straighter and with more accuracy. I highly recommend Milwaukees new FUEL multi tool and all their attachments! But make sure you have a spare battery or two if you have a large project. This will be one of your favorite new tools, it can do so much and handles itself like a much larger corded tool!
