This is a well built tool for anyone looking to install Pex A. The Home Depot price is comparable to other Milwaukee dealers. This is a “ tool only “ meaning no charger or battery.

Excellent tool for pros or large DIY projects
This tool is the ONLY way to run PEX A. No more busting your forearms with a manual expander. A joint takes ~10 seconds. The New Rapid Seal heads definitely make a difference working in low ambient temperatures, I've used both and have seen a difference

Everything about this kit was great except that it didn't...
Everything about this kit was great except that it didn't include the PEX pipe cutter. It was a pretty big disappointment to have it come without the cutter because these are the items we use everyday when installing water heaters and water softeners.

Bought this tool and 30 something days later went to...
Bought this tool and 30 something days later went to use it for the first time. Got about 12 joints in and the tool froze in the expanded position and got stuck in the pipe. Now I have to send the tool out for repair while my job waits.

I'm not a plumber but doing small projects is a must. I am a go getter when trying to take on any task to learn something new. I bought this out of fun to learn. I installed a 100 foot underground water line to a detached garage and the tool works great with no flaw. If you want to do a quick job with out installing copper with the new insane COVID prices this is the way to go.

This is a great tool battery lasts long in it the system works flawlessly all the parts to this system are very well built faster install of fittings I have used copper cpvc pex-b and the pex-a expansion system is by far the easiest and fastest of all the cost of fittings are more but the time saving and ease of use out ways any and all other systems and I can’t find anything to complain about the Milwaukee expansion tool

Didn’t work at all had to return it . Wouldn’t open the first pex fitting n never opened or worked after that . Never had problems with Milwaukee but this was a complete let down . Could b a got a defective tool
