The tools are great , they are Milwaukee Duh!!! Unfortunately the strap in the bag broke within 2weeks. I have to see if they will replace it if not then I will change my review.

Milwaukees the best. For the price I got this kit on sale for, nasty dewalt would’ve been more expensive haha. 10/10 use them everyday

Very compact, more than even the previous Milwaukee grinder. The motor housing is about 1 inch shorter. Hand placement is about 1 inch closer to the disc (although plenty of clearance). The new motor still has tons of torque, and there is no lag in spinning up a heavier grinding disc. There's about a 2 second coast on power-off; this model does not have the quick-stop braking action. I'm a big fan of the no-tool guard. It has to be the best feature, literally you can attach / remove the guard in 2 seconds, and adjust it just as quickly. It's locked by a steel pin, so it won't accidentally rotate. Balance is great, and it has plenty of power for any light to medium duty metalworking task - rebar cutoff, pipe/tube cutting, plate grinding, etc. The paddle switch is simple, and does not require much force to hold it On. My hands don't feel fatigued after extended use.

I’m always looking to expand my toolbox and I’ve recently found myself in need of a grinder for a few projects involving cutting rebar. I also needed a grinder for some projects involving welding. I’m new to both of these types of projects but I wanted to have the proper tool. Since I already have several Milwaukee M18 tools, including the batteries, I decided to try this Milwaukee M18 18V Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless 4-1/2 in./5 in. Grinder w/Paddle Switch (Tool-Only). The tool arrives with the side handle detached but it is simply a matter of screwing it in on either side of the tool depending on what your dominant hand is. When I received it, I bought a cut-off disc and got to work cutting some half inch rebar. This grinder had plenty of power and made cutting the rebar easy. Previously I had been awkwardly cutting the rebar with a reciprocating saw and this was a good improvement. I’m very happy with the performance of this grinder and I would definitely recommend it.

Very well built package of 10 of Milwaukee 18v tools. These are NOT FUEL brushless! These are perfect for someone starting out, or downsizing for the home. With the included 2 bags, homeowners/ RV can grab the tools needed!!

We got the set in and tried charging the batteries. They both blinked red and green. The instructions say it means faulty batteries. Turns out, the charger is faulty. We returned to first set and bought a new one. Same problem with the charger. You have to wiggle the battery pack on the charger to make it actually charge. Great tools but the charger is cheap garbage.

I never knew how much I would use this Oscillating saw before I purchased it. Now I wonder how I ever survived without it.

Honestly its my first oscalating tool ive ever really used because i barley recently started the m18 tool line and im just slowly building up my tools and this is just another to my tool line and ihave no complains , it does wat i need it to do wen i do use it. and its cordless i love it.

Best tools out

So far, so great! At this point, I've used all the tools except for the orbital tool and the single-hand Sawzall. I bought this 10-tool kit because it was offered at a deep discount ($599) and included the 1/2" Impact wrench, which I've been wanting for a long time to aid me with regular automotive maintenance (removing lugs for brake jobs, suspension parts, tire rotations, etc.). It was time to upgrade to Lithium batteries as well, as my trusty Craftsman NiCad 19.2 drill/driver/impact kit is not holding a charge like it used to, so I treated myself to a quality kit that I know will last this homeowner and DIY-er a long time. A couple of the surprises I found were 1.) the saw cut through my plywood boards like butter with the included framing blade - thoroughly impressed. Also, having the freedom of the cordless angle grinder was nice to be able to sharpen my lawnmower blades quickly and easily. They also say size matters - and it does! I like the fact that many of the tools in the kit are smaller & lighter with the better 18v performance. Even with the 3Ah battery, the impact driver is easy to hold and operate for extended periods.

I haven't had a chance to use all the tools in this kit yet, but so far I've used the Drill, Impact Driver, 1/2 inch Impact Wrench, and the Shop Blower. I'm not a contractor and didn't purchase these for work, Just for around the house small projects and working on the Jeep. I installed some shelving in the garage, along with installing some skidplates on the Jeep, and use the shop blower to clear off the patio/entry and driveway. The standard charger is fine for me, and I did purchase an additional 5 amp hour battery for the larger power use tools such as the grinder and circular saw. These are Milwaukee's older generation of tools and are not the brushless motor versions. For my use I'm fine with that especially for the price.

Yet another great product by Milwaukee. I've used this multitool several times already and it doesn't disappoint.

I have used the M12 version for years. But battery life tended to be a problem. The M18 version solves this problem. I am currently using it to remove 100+ year old fir flooring. The walls are mounted to the flooring, so I have to cut it at the walls to put in the new flooring. I also have to cut the nails holding the flooring down, as I need to reuse some of it to patch other areas. This tool is doing a great job. I have seen in other reviews that some people have a problem with the screw coming lose in use, or having to use tools to get the screw tight. I wonder if they are using the release lever correctly. The lever moves freely until it is about 170 degrees. Then you encounter resistance. But you have to continue until the lever has moved 180 degrees. Doing this, I have not had the screw come loose, and I only tighten it hand tight. No tools needed. I have cut multiple 10 penny nails at a time and never had a problem.

I usually give Milwaukee's new M18/M12/Fuel, etc 5 star ratings because, well, the new products are superb. This however could take a few lessons from the DeWalt. No quick detach, the rotary dial is okay at best, and it comes with an Allen key but nowhere to lock it in the tool. So don't lose it!

Easy to use, the bags are handy, the set was a great price. This combo price came at a great time, ALL my tools, my late fathers tools and my nephews tools were stolen out of my work trailer. Thank you

Everything I expected and more.

Lasted about a year and a half. Suddenly stopped mid use no matter what battery I put on light comes on just won't run.

Another great product from Milwaukee. Love thr balance of the tool with 5ah battery and love the control you get with the tool. Attachment changes are easy with the quick release and pin method used. Great variable speed control. A definite most have.

A robust little drill motor that uses the M18 battery that I already have. Since there is no difference between the M18 and M20 batteries other than case style and I already had M18 batteries for the 1/4 inch impact driver that I already own I went with this drill motor. It has plenty of torque with two gearing ranges and handles any small drilling tasks that I require. The tool with the M18 battery is well balanced and is easy to hold. The chuck has plenty of gripping power even on 1/16 inch bits. I will probably have to use a secondary pin chuck for drills smaller than 1/16 but that is to be expected.

Tool is way too bulky and awkward to use.

Awesome Impact Drill. With tons of torque this unit will tighten or loosen anything it's attached to. The battery life is great. the weight is need and feels balanced in my hand when using it.

Eats through batteries and gets HOT quick! No louder than any other multi tool. To change the blades is a little much. Flip lever, unscrew bolt, hold blade in place, screw in bolt and then close lever. Im a milwaukee fan, but this missed the mark for me.

This has worked perfectly for my demo project. I purchased it two weeks ago as I was having trouble using any other tool. I can control the blade and cut with precision which was very important as I was dangerously close to some aluminum siding and didn't want to damage it. I haven't used the other attachments but the cutting tool is perfect.

Don't get me wrong it's a great value for the money and Milwaukee stands behind their product. They also make a great product so it was a no-brainer to buy Milwaukee. But I also have some rigid 18 volt 5 X Series tools and honestly I would say that my Ridgid is a better quality tough rebuild tool than the Milwaukee. They also offer lifetime warranty once you register their product, no other company does that but Ridgid.

Great quality and hard working tool from Milwaukee. I've used this for cutting screws and nails, tons of sanding, cutting window trim, cutting baseboard, 3/4" hardwood plywood,1/4" hardwood plywood, stud grade pine, and 4/4 Soft Maple. The supplied blade works very well with wood, cuts through window sills like butter, makes quick work of baseboard trim, and sands very well. I used this to sand hard to reach areas in cabinets and doors I made and it made the process so much faster. It is a bit noisy, especially on the higher power settings and because it is not a brushless motor, it does get hot after a lot of use (got quite hot after cutting through 40+ exterior deck screws). I like that this is a baretool option because it is a relatively cheap addition to the M18 tools that I have. I'm very happy I got this tool and have found many uses for it that I was not expecting. I would like to see this offered in a brushless motor, like other brands have.

I needed a high torque tool to remove bolts from my truck frame some being 15/16 bolts and nuts. I was very impressed with the ease that this tool removed them. I bought the larger battery at the same time do to the store persons recommendations which worked out GREAT! Thank you.

I didn't realize how well this tool would work till I had to do some repair work and had to get into tight spot that required some delicate cutting. It worked better then I thought it would. Glad I purchased it!

It's sturdy. Feels good in the hand. Variable speed gives plenty of power at many levels. Battery powered unit suffers no loss of power. Locking mechanism works really nice and is different than other units. Milwaukee quality, feel and dependability all with the amazing M18 power sell that I love.

Tool performs great! I can't believe I have been able to go so long without it. It has quickly become my second most used tool next to my cordless drill. Only drawback is that it drains the battery pretty quick, but considering all the advantages this tool provides having to take a few seconds to swap a battery is not a all a big deal.
