The best cordless tool in my inventory. Versatility, great power, one key technology enables owners to keep track of each and every Milwaukee tool in this class. This set includes 2 batteries, the charger, a removable handle that works right or left handed, all in a very heavy duty carry case. Everything you'd expect from Milwaukee and nothing less. I own a number of very old Milwaukee corded tools probably 30 to 40 years. Not long ago I loaned out my corded hammer drill. Some time after it's return I discovered it had a bent arbor. The drill still works fine but doesn't drill very straight anymore and due to it's age I couldn't locate a replacement arbor. I can still use it for less important jobs but needed something new for those requiring better precision. So this is what I ordered and believe me, nothing disappointing about it It easily has the power and torque of the corded model along with more speed and a wide range of adjustments that expand it's capabilities to pretty much any job. It will drill, hammer drill, run screws, remove or install a variety of bolts and more. I have a large variety of cordless tools (other brand) that are good reliable tools. But this is a far superior product in every way.

Can I just write WOW a thousand times. Milwaukee has never ever disappointed me. There eye for detail at times is a bit much, but there quality control is unmatched in my book. Drill is compact, strong, and the battery charges really quickly, nice. I was very satisfied with drill, as I always am with Milwaukee products, have been for awhile now. Will buy again.

This is the Milwaukee 2806-22 One-Key 1/2” Hammer Drill kit. The kit includes the hammer drill, two 5.0Ah batteries, charger, side handle, and molded carrying case. A bit holder and belt clip come pre-installed. As far as I can tell, this tool is exactly the same as the 2804 hammer drill, but with One-Key built-in (and costs about $50 more for a similar kit with the 2804, i.e., the 2804-22). The pre-installed battery has a plastic strip that must be removed before the battery can actually power the tool (I’ve never seen this before on Milwaukee tools, but this is my first One-Key, so that must be why). It also has a big STOP label attached informing you that you must activate the tool before you can use One-Key to track and secure it (see Photo 1). Don’t try and just pull out the plastic strip—you need to remove the battery first (see Photo 2). To test the hammer drill, I installed my 18” long, 1" auger bit (Milwaukee 18-13-6000, which is an older version of the current bit, which is 48-13-6000) to drill down the length of a 4x6 (both on speed 1 and speed 2). It had no trouble with this, even on the faster speed, which has less torque than the low speed. The drill was equally proficient at drilling holes with a 5/16” masonry bit into some 20-odd year old concrete. When using the drill, you can just feel the raw power this thing has. It’s impressive. I’m new to One-Key, so I had to read-up on what it’s capable of and how to use it. The manual suggests you check out milwaukeetool.com/one-key to learn about this. In general, One-Key lets you manage your tool inventory, track where your tools are, and customize the three mode settings on the tool. Once I had the app installed, I played around with it for over an hour to become familiar with how it works. It was not always intuitive and took me some time to figure out. If you’re new to One-Key, you first need to load the app on your phone (for Android, go to Google Play, for Apple, go to AppStore). Once installed you tap Get Started and either create an account, or, if you already have a Milwaukee account (perhaps you registered a tool in the past), you can sign in with that account info. To add your new tool (be sure your phone’s Bluetooth is on), from the Inventory screen, tap +, press the trigger on the tool to wake it up, and then follow the screen prompts. After the tool is added, you can add additional info, or do it later. Note that, if you use the same log-in credentials you used for registering other Milwaukee tools, those tools will also show up on the inventory screen. I thought that was cool. An interesting thing, I thought, is that, when you select your One-Key tool from the Inventory screen, and view the Item Detail screen, on the bottom there is Item Info. If you tap that, you see that status of the Coin Cell Battery. This made me curious, so I looked at the bottom of the tool where the battery mounts and noticed a small removable door (see Photo 3). I removed the cover and sure enough, there’s a small battery there (see Photo 4). The manual confirmed this on page 6—it’s a CR2032 and must power the Bluetooth circuitry. This must be how you can locate your One-Key tool, even if it doesn’t have a charged M18 battery installed—just guessing… Now that you have One-Key up and running, spend some time with it and you’ll discover how and where to enter the tools purchase info, value, service record, and so on. You can assign the tool to a Place, Person, and Division (note, at first I could not figure out how to assign a Place—there was no + icon on that page (the only thing you can do here is a search). Then I selected Places (on the bottom of the main screen). This let me add a location (e.g., Shop). Then “Shop” showed up when trying to assign a Place. You can do some really cool thing once your tool is connected (either select Nearby from the main screen, and then select your tool, or select CONNECT TO TOOL from the Item Detail screen). Now, under Universal Settings, you can set how long the LED work light stays on (15—default, 30, 60, Always On), brightness, anti-kickback control, clutch collar torque range, and On-tool reset. These settings apply to all three modes. If you go back a screen, you set the parameters for each individual mode. Mode 3 is set to not restrict the tool in any way (max speeds on both ranges and anti-kickback is disabled). Modes 1 and 2 have the speed set to lower than max and, Mode 1 has anti-kickback set to high, Mode 2 has anti-kickback set to Disabled. Overall, this is an impressive hammer drill and software system—even if it did take a little while to figure it all out. And note that, if you sign in to your account from the Milwaukee web site (milwaukeetool.com), and select One-Key under your name, you can manage your tools from a computer instead of you phone.

Great tool. This is almost the same size and weight as the m12 Hammerdrill, minus the difference in the weight of the batteries One of the many projects this was used for was to drill a hole for a Tapcon to attach a basement cellar door. After struggling with an older non-fuel Milwaukee drill, this stepped up to the plate and made light work of the concrete. The one key works great, this product lost a star from me because personally I would like to have been able to simply adjust the torque by setting a min and max in/lbs as oppose to RPM's. I have used one key for my another power tool last year and One Key has come along way, as time goes on you live and learn and improve the apps and that is what Milwaukee has done here. The bit holder is great too, it is a little different than normal bit holders on drills, this is on the side and not in the front and the holder really held the bit more securely than others With One Key I was able to lock the tool, there is an led on the base where you change modes that will blink red when it is locked. You can adjust the length that the light stays on after you press the trigger, I believe the longest amount of time was 60 seconds. You can adjust the ramp up speed and the Anti Kick Control Also(Set to High, Med, Low and disable it all together) This is beneficial if to prevent it from binding up. So far it has worked well for me. I like that Milwaukee explains what the features are this time around, I know this was my issue with the app last year so its nice to know they listened and improve it in that manner

Milwaukee does not disappoint. This drill feels powerful and durable even before you use it. It feels great in the hand and sounds very powerful. I have had three other makes of drills but this Milwaukee is by far the Heaviest Dutiest that I have seen or used. I just happened to view a video where they took a similar Milwaukee drill/driver and another drill, (I was going to use the word competitor but it really was no competition:), that I will not name but he attached the two drills together using a hex bit and put them through the torture test. Very quickly the other drill began to smoke and quickly became inoperable. The Milwaukee came away without a scratch and worked like nothing happened. Nough said.

    One-key is a game changer
This drill does so much more with one key than advertised. In addition to the security and battery level features, you can change and regulate speed and torque remotely through the app. Amazing technology.

Hard to get... in demand M18 hammer drill
Nice Hammer Drill... replaced my old V18. There are a couple of models with different handles, and this one has the one key so hopefully will know where it is... Had old V18 model hammer drill which was much bigger, heavier...had lots to torque, and no handle, so this one should be an improvement

Love the new drill have a 20+ year old one still working great but batteries are showing their age and not made anymore, so figured it was time to upgrade. This is a lot smaller but surprisingly just as heavy. That isn't a bad thing though. It's strong like Milwaukee's are known for. So far have used it for drilling through metal and with the right bit it's fast and easy. Also like the one key blue tooth connection to make adjustments for preset settings.

      Incredible power and torque.
This is by far the best hammer drill I've ever owned. Power and torque are incredible and it will drive a masonry bit through reinforced concrete without skipping a beat (use a big battery). Everything about the drill is solid, heavy duty and well thought out. Only issue is that I can't get the ONE-KEY feature to link to my phone, but I'm a residential user, not a professional so I wouldn't really use it anyway. (I was shopping for a 2804 but this one came up on flash sale so I grabbed it). I confidently recommend this drill to everyone.
