Crapnout battery. Second one.
I charged it twice and left it for 3 weeks and the battery is bad now. I had the one that came with the hard hat light then this one i purchased which was supposed to be better. Waste of money.

Don't buy head lamps with rechargeable batteries
I bought this head lamp with the USB charging and I didn't use it more than 10 hours total and it's not working anymore so I believe it is the rechargeable 3.0 battery. This thing is not cheap and I was expecting this to last a long time. What a disappointment from this brand. I always thought it was the best. Not anymore and I would not recommend at all to buy those head lamps with the rechargeable batteries. They are a scam

NO PROTECTION FROM DESIGN TO SUPPORT.
This product is designed to fail. Sat in package on shelf till I needed it then it didn’t work. Best I can figure is that the rover light it was packaged in did have NO BATTERY PROTECTION CIRCUIT in the design and that’s intentional to cause failure before in packaging.

                Unhappy and unsatisfied
I purchased a Milwaukee 475 Lumen spot and flood lamp back in October. I see most of the complaints about this battery are on its usage time, now while they are not wrong about the poor performance capabilities of his battery. My complaint is that after only four months, my batteries terminals have somehow begun to melt. I am not sure if there is a leak of battery acid, or some type of overheating situation. But all I know is that now I’m working in the dark because the only battery that came with this headlamp is now destroyed. Is there any kind of warranty on these batteries? Because this is unacceptable for the quality that your brand represents. I’m going to attach photos as well

Fantastic battery system from a great tool brand!
Got this battery in the 600 lumen headlight kit and havnt looked back to alkaline ones since. I bought a second battery to have charged and they do charge fairly quickly. Lasts over 2 hours on high at 600 lumens, and is super lightweight. Great investment

So happy Milwaukee came out with this upgraded red lithium battery. Faster charge and longer run times. I have all of Milwaukee's lights, and use these batteries a lot, but now that I can use one battery instead of taking two or three with me really make a difference. Could not be happier with these Milwaukee Red Lithium batteries, but the 3.0 makes them even better!

This battery is for the smaller products like LED lights and headlamps and is intended to provide a longer lasting battery than traditional AA or AAA batteries in such products. While this battery accomplishes that, the investment that needs to be made in the battery and related charger needs to be weighed against the cost of traditional batteries. Performance-wise, it definitely lasts a long time in my headlamp.

This rechargeable battery is intended to power any Milwaukee USB rechargeable products. It is just the battery, no tools or charger included. The battery is 3.0 Ah, and 20% improvement over the previous generation of battery. I'm a big fan of lights of different sizes but don't currently own any Milwaukee USB rechargeable flashlights but now I have to get one.

I like the new Milwaukee USB 3.0 AH Lithium battery, you can use it on a the whole USB line of LED work lights. The battery can be used with the 600 Lumen and 475 Lumen hard hat lights, 700 Lumen Flashlight, 550 Lumen Rover pivoting flood light, 445 Lumen Rover pocket flood and the pivoting head flashlight. My favorite is the USB Rechargeable ROVER™ Pivoting Flood Light Model # 2114-21 This lamp gives a ton of light, you can adjust the angle and it has a magnet built in so you can stick it up where you need it. I also like that the battery is not bulky, so you can easily carry a spare battery in your pocket.

Milwaukee RedLithium USB 3.0 48-11-2131. The battery is larger capacity than twice, three AAA batteries and that means you are not throwing away at least 6 batteries each time you fully charge and deplete the USB battery. Those are great numbers for our planet. Since it's USB we know in our heart some USB chargers charge fast and some don’t so when we manage our Milwaukee USB battery we need to keep that in mind and find a faster charger to use to keep the charge cycle from being an all day affair. With that said… This is a great concept. This battery is 3 amp hr. Not long ago I bought a driver that came with a 2 amp hr battery and it was a lot bigger than this small item. If I read the battery correctly it is 12 watt hours. Those are impressive numbers. I had much rather use this than a handful of batteries. Milwaukee has a lot of products to choose from to utilize this battery. Really other manufacturers need to adopt the battery for use in their product. I recently saw that happen with a manufacturer that had a great product but it used a crummy battery. They used a different manufactures battery and made their product more reliable and useful. I think this is a great battery.

Battery provides a slight upgrade in capacity over the standard 2.5 Ah battery that came with my RedLithium USB light and accessories. Can't say that I've noticed a significant improvement in my flashlight on time or charger's output time, but every little bit of extra capacity helps - especially now since the 2.5Ah battery has been discontinued and replaced with a 1.5Ah version.

This is a high quality battery that I use in my Milwaukee headlamp. It looks like it's a 18650 lithium cell in a rugged protective plastic case. This model is the new 3.0 AH, which is quite a bit higher capacity than the 1.0 AH battery that was included with my headlamp. The Lithium USB battery fits perfectly into my headlamp with a simple twist off cap--no difficulty swapping batteries, very convenient. I don’t have a dedicated charger for the Red Lithium USB batteries, so I recharge them using the micro-USB port on the headlamp. So it is nice to have a second battery that I can swap out if needed.

Awesome little rechargeable battery for the Milwaukee RedLithium USB line of small devices. These fit my headlamp and heated gloves. It would also fit their small rechargeable flashlight. The housing has little plastic keys that you have to line up to insert it correctly. The new ones are 3 Ah, and replace the original ones that were 2.5Ah, so it gives 20% more run time for the head light or gloves compared to the battery that they shipped with. The easiest way is just to recharge them in the device (my headlamp has a micro USB connector), or you can charge them in the special charger made for these that can also be used as portable power bank.

This battery is obviously an upgrade over the standard battery you get with Milwaukee’s Red Lithium USB line. The 3.0 battery gives you a longer run time than the standard battery but you also are getting a quicker recharge time. If you are using the Milwaukee flashlight or little rover light then I think you should invest in these batteries. You are getting a longer run time but not having to give up a decent recharge time. Definitely recommend these batteries.

                      Battery is junk
Battery is junk. Fairly new light and battery is already toast. Won’t hold charge at all. Not worth the money at all when the battery is nearly $30 alone and doesn’t hold up to light use.
