I needed a good pair of gloves. They looked and felt durable. Cowhide gloves shrink way too much when they get wet. Pigskin hardly shrinks at all but the tips of the fingers wear out quickly. Goatskin I decided would be somewhat comparable to pigskin. I bought them. I have had them for a couple weeks now. They are holding up very well. I haven't gotten them totally wet yet but they have been grasping goat head weeds and digging in the mud to pull them out by the roots. Mud washes off and maybe a slight shrinkage. Still in great shape. I like them and I work everyday landscaping. Very durable, they sure are.

The seams of the gloves came apart out of the package, I did not even get to use them. Very poor quality. Do not buy these gloves. It is a waste of money. The Home Depot local stores do not carry size Medium. I contacted Milwaukee and they referred me to a link where no service centers are near me. Also, their customer service representative on the phone hung up after keeping me on hold for a long time.

Just a few months of handling firewood and already have a hole in the thumb. I realize goatskin gloves are probable far from ideal to use when handling firewood, but they are confortable

Nice, leather work gloves good for most jobs around the house or yard. I would describe them as "medium weight" - wouldn't be the best choice for demolition or other jobs that require heavy duty protection, but great for just about everything else. The leather is very soft and nimble so there is wonderful flexibility. Inside is soft and comfortable (unlike those heavy duty gloves). The palms are reinforced, and the elastic wrist seals keep small debris out.

I am a firefighter as well as a DIYer. I have used leather gloves for very long time during my firefighting duties as well as when doing projects at home and in my opinion these are the best leather gloves I've ever worn. They welare veryl well constructed with heavy double stitching on the very thick yet supple leather. I have large hands and they fit very comfortably and gave me great range of motion as soon as I put them on. The reinforcements in the palms and fingers should allow them to last a very long time. I like them so much in fact that I have already cotton extra pairs to put in my gear as well as in my truck.

These Milwaukee goatskin gloves are the real deal and they look real nice and expensive but not all that bad and they are worth every single penny that you pay for them . They are made with a reinforced palm that should make them to last longer. They come with cloth loops at the end of the gloves to help you pull them on because they are somewhat tight but that is exactly what you would want in a work glove. These gloves should really last for a few years if not longer so do yourself a favor and go on down to the Depot and pick up a pair for yourself and while you are there pick up a pair for your wife and hope that she uses them.

This review is for Milwaukee X-Large Goatskin Leather Gloves, Adult Unisex, Brown. These are super nice goatskin leather gloves. These gloves are double stitched in all the places that a glove gets the most wear and tear. They also have a nicely reinforced thumb area, and the palm area has an extra layer of leather for better wear. These gloves have a nice pull on strap located on the wrist portion of the glove to aid in getting the gloves on and off easier. NOTE: These gloves have very little stretch, so they do tend to fit snugly. Once you wear these gloves for a short while though they do tend to shape themselves to the shape of your hand and are very comfortable. These gloves are another fine product made by Milwaukee and should provide lots of good use.

These are great gloves. They are work gloves but they look almost too nice to work with and maybe get dirty. They are very comfortable and are great to keep your hands warm in cold weather even if you aren't working. They are make of a strong, rich and durable material. They feel great on your hands and look good too. They are durable and will take a lot of abuse for a long time. Best work gloves I have owned.

I've had these gloves for several months and they fit like a champ. There's no lining so these are my 3 season gloves for yard and mechanical work. I like that they are long and come down my arm several inches past the wrist. The leather is extremely flexible which helps with gripping poles and wire. What's nice is that they have extra padding in the palm where the glove wears first. The first thing I noticed is the double stitching on the outside as well on the seams on the inside of the glove. After wearing them for awhile, I appreciated the keystone thumb which helps to make the gripping easier and far more comfortable. I expect these to last for many years. I was so impressed, that I gave a pair to my son-in-law and grandsons.

Feel like high quality dress gloves. I found the fit to be slightly tight, but in a way that is good because it allows for excellent flexibility due to the high quality of the leather. Reinforced in all the right spots. Thus far I have used for pruning roses - and thorns did not puncture the leather. Also used as just regular outside cold weather gloves and they are quite warm and comfortable and do not restrict motion or flexibility. I gave them a shot as driving gloves and found them absolutely ideal for that use - reduces hand fatigue on the wheel and still allows for excellent control on the touch screen as well as on all buttons and knobs. Overall these are super high quality work gloves despite their much dressier appearance.

Great gloves for all purposes. Great for working in the yard and keeping your hands warm and dry. The leather is high quality and will be used for years. The fit is perfect giving you a little room and not too tight at all. These will also work perfectly for the winter while using the snow blower. If you are looking for something that you are sure won't get punctured this is the glove.

These are now my go to work gloves. They are soft enough and stylish enough to wear for driving gloves or similar use. However, I got these as work gloves and will use them as such. I feel a little guilty using gloves this nice for work gloves, but again that is why I got them. They are super comfortable and you have great mobility and dexterity with these gloves. They are Goatskin leather which makes them soft and they have a reinforced palm for durability. They also have a feature called Smart Swipe which allows you to access your smart phone. I typically wear a size Large glove and these fit well. Again - GREAT GLOVES !!

Super nice pair of leather gloves. These are a quality pair of goatskin leather gloves made by Milwaukee. The gloves have double stitching in all your major wear points and a reinforced thumb area. Additional the palm area comes with an extra layer of leather to help last longer as that is a major wear area. The gloves also come with smart swipe which allows you to use your smart phone without taking your gloves off. Milwaukee placed the smart swipe area of the glove on the middle portion of the glove over both index fingers. That is a nice touch as it makes it easy to use but also not a point that will take a lot of wear from day to day use. The gloves also have a nice pull on strap at the wrist. The only comment I would make if you are interested in these gloves and have used the Milwaukee demo gloves or any of their other fabric gloves is to try these on before leaving the store. I normally wear the large in the demo gloves and have plenty of room but the large with the leather gloves is a little more snug fit. So just look out for that. I would recommend these gloves if you are looking for a new pair of leather gloves. They are excellent quality and easy to break in pretty quickly. I haven't own them for an extended period but they look like they are quality made and have held up well to the yard work I put them through already.

They look and feel like expensive driving gloves but are ready for tough jobs! First and foremost – they FIT!!! The fingers are the right size for my hands and the reinforced palm provides extra protection against splinters or rough surfaces. Because there’s leather underneath the reinforcement, the gloves should last longer too! Milwaukee has sewn a layer of fabric on the inside of the glove where the top of your hand will be but other than that, you feel the soft leather everywhere else. There’s a red tab on the bottom of each glove to aid in pulling them on to your hand as you are putting them on. The area by the knuckle of each index finger has been configured so that you can use it to interface with smart devices like your cell phone or other devices with touchscreens and not have to remove your gloves. They call this SMARTSWIPE and I must admit that I’m not a huge fan of it. I’d rather see the tip of each index finger be touchscreen enabled. I did try it and was able to use it, however. There’s one thing that I need to mention: If you live in a cold climate, these gloves will not keep your hands warm! As I mentioned earlier, they aren’t lined – other than the area that covers the top of your hand. This is another high-quality product at a very reasonable price from Milwaukee!

SOFT; FLEXIBLE; ATTRACTIVE; COMFORTABLE — The Milwaukee Large Goatskin Leather Gloves, Adult Unisex, Brown are almost too nice to use as work gloves. The goatskin leather gives them a high quality look and feel. The inside of the gloves have a soft lining. They are gathered at the wrist for a more comfortable fit. Each glove has a tab for putting on, taking off, or hanging up. The palm is reinforced. The stitching appears to be first class. Where my work gloves most frequently fail is when a seam comes loose. These gloves have two novel features. One is a SMARTSWIPE knuckle on the back of the index finger. It works very well for almost everything on a smart phone or tablet except for typing. The other is the keystone thumb where the thumb is stitched separately into the palm making the glove more comfortable. They are made in Cambodia.

I like these gloves very much. I didn't know Milwaukee made gloves. They are a nice soft leather glove made of goatskin. They have a reinforced palm and a smartswipe knuckle which allows the wearer the ability to operate your smart phone without having to remove the gloves. They have a pull tab on the bottom so you can pull them on easier. Also a keystone thumb. Which I had to look up because I had no idea what that was. The thumb is actually sewn in to the side of the palm rather that just sticking out the side like a rubber glove. It makes it more comfortable.

Super comfortable with great feel. Very lightweight and good for moderate heavy work. But the dye will run fast in damp conditions. This is nearly a 5 star product. I only have one small concern. They've still become my favorite gloves. I have to admit that sometimes I forget I'm wearing them! They are that good. My small concern is that when they get wet, the dye runs fast and will lightly stain your skin. Perhaps you can avoid all wetness. However, I find that these gloves are PERFECT for moderate outdoor work such as raking, picking up rocks, etc. They are bound to get wet sometimes. The good news is that for a leather product, the goatskin rebounds quickly from being wet then drying. Better than cowhide in my opinion. Other pluses include the palm reinforcement and smartphone knuckle. The knuckle is good enough to answer, I wouldn't exactly use it for a texting marathon. I have the XL size and they fit my large hand perfectly. Made in Cambodia

Milwaukee X-Large Goatskin Leather Gloves 10 in, Adult Unisex, brown in color are extremely comfortable and the fit on my large hand is excellent. The design gives the all important thumb a fit that makes your grip solid without binding. The leather quality is very high with piping along the leathers edge on the opening with an added pull tab, plus the stitching all over is perfect. They add a leather patch to the palm to extend the life of the glove. Special note, you should look at how well the fingers are formed, I am trying to point out how well the gloves fingers fit down into your hands fingers which translate into an unusually good overall fit and sure grip. These are modern gloves with the added ability to use your smartphone or tablet. They use the knuckle on the back of a finger with a special smartswipe material and that actually works great. Comfortable, great fit and very well made. I like them.

For those whose country of origin, these were made in Cambodia. Always looking for gloves in XL that fit, and these easily fit the bill. No issue with getting these gloves on easily. Reinforced palm pad should give you extra life to these gloves. Reinforced index finger should alleviate early friction wear out. Seams do not wear against the fingers, so the gloves are comfortable. Thumb allows for full range of motion, not constricting as with other gloves owned. Has tabs for attachment to work belt. I lose gloves frequently.

Milwaukee brand products have a reputation of being high quality, dependable, and well-made in my experience. These leather gloves are not an exception. Looking over my pair I noticed first the excellent workmanship and the feel both inside and out. At first, the gloves felt a bit tight but after several minutes (actually about a half-hour) working with building material and climbing ladders, the gloves seemed to conform to my hand movements. Other than the feel of real leather, the feature I like most is the reinforced palm.

Excellent Value! I've always liked goat skin gloves for their softness. The brand I used to buy was always dyed a light gray for some reason which I didn't care for. These are a nice rich brown with black additions. The black in the palm is for reinforcement and will likely add to the durability. I ordered an x-large and the fingers are a little loose on my hands but I don't know if I could have pulled a smaller size on. These went on comfortably and I immediately liked them. The black patch on the index finger allows me to answer the phone without removing my gloves, a nice feature. I'd recommend these for working on anything that doesn't get them wet. They seem to be getting better with age. They are a great glove for ranchers too, whether riding horses or throwing hay bales around.

These are the best looking work gloves I’ve seen. They are soft top grain goatskin leather and are very pliable. They fit my hands better and are very comfortable to wear. They have this “keystone thumb” that fits around the thumb area perfectly and comfortably. The palms are reinforced to last longer, but they don’t bunch up like some. You can still easily get a grip with these. They have a “SMARTSWIPE” knuckle that allows you to use touch screens. Everyone loves them and wants a pair for themselves. I’m always looking for a comfortable pair of motorcycle riding gloves, some that look good and feel good too. I’ve taken these on a test ride and these will replace those I’ve been suffering with.I'm putting a pair in every vehicle I have. Milwaukee knocked it out of the park with these.

Very comfortable and reinforced in all the right locations to provide excellent hand protection. What I like is the flexibility they provide. I wear out standard work gloves rapidly but these will last a long time due to the goatskin leather and padded palm area. If you handle a lot of lumber, plywood or OSB, these gloves will provide protection, flexibility, and grip. Sizing is accurate and they fit well.

They were a tad tight. Not the best fit.
