I was looking for something that I wasn't going to pay a lot of money for since I wasn't sure about having a light in the area. Turned out to be perfect, may keep it in place until I can find a nice metal light since this is all plastic. Light does not stay on long periods, and the sensor is perfect.

after a week just turns on for no reason
worked for week not going on at random intervals between 5 and 20 mins. I have a security camera out there and I can see that nothing is setting it off.

I've used this product before and it met my expectations. I dropped one of my units and ordered this as a replacement and I can't get the battery compartment to open. So I'm returning this today to either get another one or see if someone can open the battery compartment for me.

We were gifted one, and bought another During power outage....
We were gifted one, and bought another During power outage. It was great to have in dark locations so that our motion would activate it and not have to worry about flashlights and such. We’ve had one since the fall and only had to replace the batteries on it at the same time of the purchase of the other one (roughly 10 months). Now one sits in the garage and the other in the basement.

I have a large motion light outside the back door....
I have a large motion light outside the back door. Have a Lot of deer in my yard. And have a large yard. Put one on my shed and one high up in a tree. They only come on for a few seconds in blink right off they don’t cover a large area and I would not recommend them. Not a lot of coverage and not a Lotta on time and definitely not worth paying $50 for two of them

Hi Glindy! The units will activate with heated motion and remain on as long as that motion is continuous. Once the motion stops or moves out of range the lights will turn off after 20 seconds. The best motion range for the unit is when they are mounted 6-8 feet high. Anything higher will reduce the motion range and cause your light to turn off sooner.
